The manager “Kanta” doesn't know how to talk to people. Wondering how she became a manager. I needed to discuss and understand about exchanging or refunding product when bought using a company provided voucher. She went on and on in a high voice on how the Marck corporation and the business have rules set but does not for a minute listen to the exact question i needed to ask her. She expects the customer to understand her answering questions that were not even asked and she doesn't listen or understand the question I actually wanted to ask her. Extremely poor people skills.
Horrible, Ana the cashier ripped me off. She told me there wasn’t a balance left on my gift card. Yet on my receipt there’s a $10.50 balance. CRIMINAL! Absolute Disgrace! Theft is theft!
This location does have helpful staff just not much of it. Feel bad for the one person helping all the customers including Black Friday. It was very helpful service just not much of it. More to the management than the one employees on this as as the one employee who helped me here today was fantastic. Get more staff!
Ordered online, several pick up reminders. Understaffed When a line formed, I was asked if I could wait till a few of them were served, No, I was 1st customer and should be served 1st. Couldn't find the order, finally 15-20 minutes later, seriously. No issue at any other location.
Customer service at this location needs help. No employees offer to help me find anything. I ended up getting the wrong item which I thought was on sale but she didn't offer to help me find the right ones. When I go to checkout, I'm standing there waiting for her to tell me "I can help you over here" but instead she stands there looking at me not saying anything. Where did the customer service go? Its no wonder people order online instead.
When a sale item says buy one get second free, you should honor it in my case when checking out they did not honor, when I was told by sales associate buy one and second item at equal price or lower is free. I'm not happy at all, never returning to this location at Weston Road
You're better off to shop online with Mark's. Sale items often unavailable in-store. Also difficult to know what is included in the sale, too many items not discounted. But if you're not buying at sale price you are overpaying for everything here. Perhaps CTC should stick to selling auto-parts and garden tools.
On 21 aug 2022 Charlie and Omar are best customer service executive at the mark, western. They showed me the safety shoes very professionally and nicely, gave me the correct information as well as arrange the shoe at Rexadale Mark which were unavailable at their store. I used to come into your store every year with my workplace voucher and the store used to be packed. Now since Canadian Tire took over the store the store is almost empty because you have become so expensive. Sorry I will go some place else.
Nothing to do with the service of the employees I just think it’s ridiculous that the marks in Sudbury closes at 9pm and the Toronto locations seem to closes at 7pm.
It's a good store. Big but boot shoes inventory little shy. Will locate another store with stock. Nice people, security is a little high and uncomfortable.
Top notch customer service until you make the payment.pick up order (yes.took them 4 days to pack the umbrella that was in stock) and was told could not locate item in the back that was packed a couple hours ago, and "they" are looking in the back.and left me on the side continue taking payments from other customer.i went to the back door stood there for 10 mins and did not see who "they" are, I then went back to the front.no customers atm and while arguing she just took the a new customer payment and told me to wait (i thought we do online order is to speed things up, and yet it coated me over 20mins), then another cashier who was also taking order came with product and i had to return to discourage this type of customer service.avoid the place, save your time. Stockyard and yorldale one is way better.
I saw online that this location had a particular children's shoe in a. 5 size that has been difficult to find in this price range.
The gentleman in the shoe section was asking everyone if they needed any assistance and I did. The shoe I wanted was in a centre aisle display that I would have most certainly missed, but he knew exactly where to find it.
I really appreciate the help.

This store also had jeans in a size difficult to find and on clearance. There's also a sale on now and the items were discounted %25.

This location is the one I regularly shop at! Lately selection hasn't been good! No undershirts anywhere? Hard to find X-Large sizes but they have lots of mens size small makes zero sense to me! Staff rarely around in sections when you need help!
Very poor customer service and one working in the store to help customer i had to wait nearly hr to get help the cashier fat blak girl she is very roud and the store is very missy.
The staff here is soooo rude. Nothing but attitude and ignorance! Asked where an item was and got such horrible attitude from the one girl. We literally walked out after! No thanks, I’ll go to any other location.
It was really disappointing. There were boots and shoes opened everywhere. Things were all scattered and garbage from the shoe fillings riddled the whole area. There were hardly any glove selection (which is why I came), and one person working on the floor. Clothes were also untidy and strewn about. Not impressed.
While the staff are friendly and helpful, this location has its windows plastered with clearance ads (up to 70% off!) but very literally nothing is clearance priced and it's in fact doubtful that there are any sales at all in the store - this is no way reflects on the staff - just Mark's shady advertising practices
Went in the store to look for hoodies. 3 employees were at the front counter and said good afternoon when I walked in. I walked around the store for 15 minutes with out one of them asking me if I needed help. Headed to the front and saw the hoodies as I was walking over to them one of the employees said can I help you. My answer was that would be nice.
Excellent customer services. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful (Shout out to Anthony here). The only downside is they are low on stock (it’s been like that for a long time from what I heard from the staff) so I couldn’t find the sizes I want here and had to run to the other Marks to get them. But otherwise everything is great.
The man that served us was fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. The cashier that I had was training, but did a great job. The cashier my husband had, fooled around a lot, made a lot of errors, joked around with a co worker and kept us waiting a lot more than necessary.
I don't shop often, but when I do, I go to Mark's. Comfortable and affordable dress pants is what I can reliably find here. I like their simple store layout, it makes it easy to find what you need.
