I went here to fill a work boot voucher. I was purchasing the same boots with the same voucher that I had been using for about a decade.
The clerk at check out here was very nice, but wasnt properly trained on how to use the till or handle vouchers.
That's when a manager stepped in. A larger mature blond haired lady.
I had already been waiting 20 minutes in line with two small children. The way I was approached was shocking.
The manager was very rude and confrontational. I had been shopping at Mark's for 14 years to get work boots, and never experienced anything like this.
I've read previous comments about a power tripping manager, and this is exactly what I experienced.
I truly regret that my children had to witness this woman's terrible behaviour.
To top it off this location has never had my boots in stock, and the one time I purchased from them they tried to sell me a returned pair as new!
I spoke to several other people at my workplace and many had similar experiences with the same person at this store. She claimed to be an 18 year employee.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
As our contract will soon expire, we will likely be looking at other vendor choices. It is unacceptable for a "manager" to treat our employees this way.
