I was searching for a working boots at this location on Friday November 24th at 7: 00 PM I found something that I really liked, The sign says $70 off, after 45 minutes of searching to find what I like then another 30 to 40 minutes waiting Inline at the cash register to check out. The person at the cash register charged me full price. I ended up not buying the boots I went back to the store asked the staff on the floor and They said yes it is $70 off. I told them what happened then they said oh sorry the sale was expired a day before but they forgot to take out the sign. That was a terrible experience after wasted hour and a half of my time,
Terrible service never go back again, try every thing to get your money and your personal information and stupid woman at the cashier across her arms even don't know say thank you when you thanked her.where the normal people who used to work for Mark's?
The store is reasonably well stocked, but the people that work there are remarkably unhelpful. I was buying three pairs of the same shorts (even the same colour) and one scanned at full price and the person said there was nothing they could do about it. Not my first bad experience there, but ridiculous enough to prompt me to write a review.
Visited this store before the beginning of February. Not only did they have some amazing clearance prices on exactly what I was shopping for but the store was clean, super organized and easy to navigate. The staff at the front counter were pleasant and polite. Way better than most stores. Will be going to this marks from now on.
Great deals, one awesome CSR, the rest seemed uninterested in customers shopping and the cashier had to be reminded of the additional store discount at the time of purchase. Pretty much what I expect at Mark's. $250 +tax winter coat for $80 after tax = extremely high mark ups for average quality clothing.
There's a great selection of men's and woman's clothes at Mark's. A suggestion, Check their flyers, there is sales every week and you can use or collect Canadian Tire points here as well
A very clean store with very friendly store associates. I always find what I am Looking for and if they do not have the item in stock- they are more than willing to order it, or check neat by availability at other stores
Disappointing customer service on multiple occasions trying to shop at this store. Staff are not interested in helping customers either in person or on the phone. Have been in several times and only managed to find what I needed (without any aid) once. And within a few months, the usually high quality jeans have torn at a seam and there is no available warranty. Over a all disappointing experience every time.
This location has more and better options for work boots than Brantford. Sizing of work pants was off for most. Didn't have a lot of large side pockets for work pants I was looking for. Change rooms could have been kept cleaner with more sweeping.
Very low stock at this store. No shoes, very little outerwear. They will probably blame Covid for this issue but it's the management of the store that's the problem.
This is a great store with friendly, helpful staff and lots of selection in the way of clothes, outerwear and footwear for the entire family. Good quality merchandise. There seems to always be great items on sale. I would highly recommend this store.
They didn't stock all of the items listed in their promotion. Travelled from the Kitchener store to the Guelph store to no avail. Didn't wind up making a purchase.
New location at the mall was clean, well organized, not very busy at the time we went. Staff were mostly helpful. Sales weren't clear. Hard to know what was included. Staff didn't seem to know exactly what was on sale either. Had to get things scanned to see what was included in the sale.
Great selection of clothing, not just for work, but for play too! Some reasonable bargains to be found in the store, and nice helpful staff for a good shopping experience!
An in store appointment can be made for essential goods such as workbooks etc. Good thing because if I had ordered curbside the boots would have been the wrong size I found out.
Worst store iv ever been in. No staff no fitting rooms no stock. Every time i go to this store. I leave mad and go to the Cambridge store where they have everything i need. When will i learn
Wide selection and recent prices. Helpful and friendly staff. I'm a taller gent, and for the most part the longest inseam they carry is 34 (as with many retailers). They also didn't have in stock a shoe size I prefer. No matter, it can still be ordered for quick arrival if I needed.
Nice shop, friendly staff. Clothing and footwear reasonably priced and they have other misc odds and ends which can make for a good present. You can also earn Canadian tire points and redeem those there too. There's enough parking and conveniently close to the stone road mall, Walmart, Canadian tire etc
No one greeted or spoke to us until we were leaving, then we got a cursory bye. Went looking for workboots for the husband, only one size 14 in all the boots. There may have been more but no human was in sights for us to ask. Not a great experience.
It's a well maintained shop, with a number of good deals throughout. Probably one of the few places that sells the variety if work related attire that I know of. It has a good selection of work shoes and construction boots.
I tried to go a few weeks ago, but the place looked post apocalyptic so after 20 minutes of fruitless searching I left.
I thought I'd try ordering online - found 4 pair, supposedly in stock and ordered them for local store pick up. Got my first cancellation a few days later, then another and another, till all 4 pairs were cancelled. I guess "in stock" is meant more as a joke.
Finally bit the bullet and went back in. Tried to find trousers, looked for a while then finally asked a very kind and helpful staff person (they are the reason marks got 2 stars instead of 1) The staff person had a star Trek type device on their belt, scanned numerous pairs of trousers and nope, none in my size (which is 34-34, I guess a bit odd?)
So I went to Old Navy - found several pairs, in my size, within 5 minutes.
This is a great place to go for work clothes of all kinds.
They always have good clearance section and it's actually a good price. Most places sale or clearance is still way too expensive, but not marks, they do it right.
I like how they branched out from just construction clothing to include all different type of work clothes. Like getting the funny dress socks. Picked on ones with donuts on them lol.
Staff is helpful when called upon and always a great selection even for the bigger people like me.
