Maro's

We came for dinner with friends at 7 on a Sunday night around 7pm. We asked them what time they close and were told 8pm, last order at 7: 30 but we can sit for longer than 8 and it won't be an issue.

We got a table at 7: 20, ordered at 7: 30 and food came at 7: 40.

When we sat for comfortable and the food came, they turned the lights to full at 7: 50pm and started to pick our plates while we were still eating and clearing table. They asked us to pay by 7: 55, gave us boxes at 8 and asked us to leave by 8: 10pm

We were super embarrassed in front of our friends and the evening went down the drain. We paid over $150 for a reasonable food and not even good.

I was aware the restaurant closes at 8 and that is why my first question was if we can sit late.

The guy who was taking the order was rushing us to order and suggested we order more and it turned out the food we end up ordering was too much.

I'll probably never go back and will tell anyone who ever asks it's not worth the service.

If they had told us they would rush us like this for okaishly over priced food, we could go elsewhere.

Best meal out I’ve had in a very long time. Honestly, this is my new favourite restaurant. Every dish was packed with flavour. Everything was super fresh. The service was great. And once we were done they invited us to their cafe next door for Turkish coffee and baked goods.

This place was fantastic great food, good coffee, inexpensive, cozy and a great waitstaff. This will be our new brunch place for sure.

Excellent food and the wait staff went above and beyond to ensure a member of our group with food sensitivities was carefully attended to. Special shout out to Nikka, Lane and Gillian for fantastic hospitality and care. Our family will be back.

I would give more stars if I could! The food is so good and fresh, portions are huge, service is great every time. I recommend this place to all my friends!

We were not that hungry but thought we go out for a good meal. This place was recommended by a close friend who was here for lunch.
Our server Ethan was great, he showed us to a patio table and also explained the dishes. He also made great conversations, recomended the chicken dish and the fried cauliflower. Food came quickly, was delicious to our taste. We loved the patio area which made our evening a great one.
I highly recommend this restaurant in general, Great food, Good service, nice atmosphere, making your end day a great one.
Should come here to find out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic food, huge portions and lots of flavour. Excellent service, staff very friendly and attentive. Desserts are out of this world!

Such a great spot for a great dinner or a quick bite or even dessert. It is not about the quality of the food or the outstanding customer service from Maro the owner or Borno but about the very positive vibe and the cozy atmosphere we had. We got the tikka chicken, the kale salad and the cauliflower. Everything is just perfect. Highly recommended

The place is casual chic and has a great ambience. Service is also super.

We ordered the fried cauliflower and lunch in Beirut. The cauliflower was not bad but not amazing either. The chicken in lunch in Beirut was not seasoned the way you would expect and tasted more like a typical street vendor’s shawarma. The hummus was decent and they served plenty of pita bread.

I’m sure other people enjoy the food but it just wasn’t for us personally. Although the portions are very generous and two people can easily share one dish.

The total bill was around $55 for two.

Our server, Sainsha, reccomended the cauliflower add-on. It was absolutely delicious, can’t praise it more highly! Overall the food was incredible, service was wonderful and very efficient (especially as we came a bit late), and I loved the outdoor seating, the pillows were so cute!

Loved the food here! Definitely on the pricier side of scale but worth every penny. A must visit if you’re in oakville.

The food was okay. I would've liked it with a bit more salt. Portions were extremely generous and the overall atmosphere was very nice.

Don't know where to start! Exceptional food with flavors that tingle your taste buds. The service is very attentive and the ambiance is pretty cool and relaxed.
But what really makes the place the best restaurant in Oakville is Maro himself. The guy is a legend. He personally attended our table and made sure we felt at home.

Wow. This place was amazing. The ambiance setting was chill, relaxing and unique. Food.fresh, authentic and full of flavours that please the taste buds! Serving sizes are plentiful and great for sharing. Service was great and food was quick to come out. This place is a hidden gem.

On the whole food was good, all the dishes had a similar taste though. The fish was a little under cooked, and my favourite was Maro’s Special.

We ordered the fish dish called “Here comes the bride” and it was phenomenal! The food came very quickly. Excellent service from Sainsha

My favorite Mediterranean place!

Great vegetarian options, amazing garlic potatoes, excellent chicken shawarma. I have been there many times and they've been great every time!

Ps - some would say its pricey but please look at the portions. We always have left overs and it covers us for two meals (one in resto, one at home).

This restaurant is worth a trip. The menu is imaginative and excellent. The service is prompt and friendly. We had The Secret, Bella and the Beast and the Heart Salad. Next door is Narenj which is run by the same owner which is an excellent place for dessert. We will return soon.

This place has the best food I've ever had the pleasure to taste. The ćevapi are amazing.

The only thing I would improve is the cutlery and the table and chairs, they are a bit wabblly: (
