Nowhere close to as good as the original place on rogers, food is mediocre and extremely expensive, they wanted $25 per octopus tentacle that’s right i was in awe when I heard, chicken was dry but rice and potatoes were good, veal scallopini was not the greatest also paid by weight and expensive, will not comeback or recommend

I've passed by this place many times, the location is in a very good spot for local advertising.
I don't eat out often so it took me a while to get a chance to try the menu. I was not disappointed.
I ordered a quarter chicken dinner. The parisienne potatoes were absolutely delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and very flavorful.
I also ordered a small portion of BACALHAU A GOMES DE SA. Very tasty and satisfying. While there was plenty of cod fish in the dish, its flavor was muted by the other ingredients like cream, olive oil, garlic and potatoes. Just my personal opinion, I'd still eat it again though!

The staff were friendly and inviting!
I planned to take it and go, but I did end up sitting down to eat here (I know it's mainly a catering location) and was provided quality cutlery and a place mat.

After enjoying my meal, I grabbed a custard tart on my way out, and that thing was also delicious.

St clair location staff was friendly and food was fresh even with a busy rush of customers they managed to deliver.nuno and Pedro were awesome and friendly and hardworking!

Food is excellent but the lady that works there must really hate her job because she’s so unhappy and rude, even though I was only customer in there she wouldn’t give me time to choose what I wanted instead just rushing me to leave

Martins churrasquiera's was delicious, well priced for the portions, and their customer service was amazing. I had an issue getting an order through and they came to my rescue and quickly made enough food for 50+ people. I am so grateful for their help and sense of urgency to fulfill my order. Thank you!

I have been ordering takeout at Rogers Rd.location. Last night, I decided to place an order for pickup at this location as I realized this is closer to where I live. I am quite disappointed with the food quality. Very opposite to the quality of food at the other location. Prep time took longer. Chicken is salty. Ribs are dry and very salty to eat that I was able to brush off lots of rock salt from it. Unbelievable given the price of their food. I wasn't able to get what I payed for. It is such a shame to sell food at a pricey amount but the quality sucks! Will not go back at this location again.

I ordered for my son's birthday and it was an absolutely raging success with my whole family! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Martins Churrasquira take out meals are very accessible Potatoes and rice were somewhat bland when it comes to flavor chicken was delicious my kids enjoy eating here anytime. Will be coming back. Custards are amazing.

I need to remember to pick up chicken earlier when we're craving it on a Sunday. St. Matthew's, just down the street, is far better both in terms of quality and price, but closes at 5pm on Sundays. I was late, and had to go here instead. Big mistake.

First off, I need to order sauce on the side, because my wife doesn't like a ton of it on her chicken, and my baby kid can't handle too much spice. But if you order sauce on the side, they charge you $1 per miniscule sauce packet. No exception if you didn't get sauce on your chicken: if you want sauce, you gotta pay. Obviously, that's ridiculous, but you can't reason with these people.

I'd reluctantly pay a dollar for a thing or sauce if it was good, but man do I regret paying for it. The sauce was so salty you could crunch undissolved salt crystals in it. On top of that there was a ⅓ inch of oil on top of this gelatinous goo that they called hot sauce. Disgusting, and upset that I paid $1 for it.

The chicken itself was pretty tasty, I can't lie, but I've seen quails that are bigger than the chicken they served me. Literally the smallest chicken I've ever seen.

I also ordered the potatoes and they were very good.

On balance, while some parts of the food were good, the overall vibe I got of this place was a place that was willing to cut corners and cheap out to the detriment of the customer experience. Will not be going back, and will instead be remembering to pick up any chicken before 5pm on Sundays from St. Matthew's, down the road. Seriously, check them out: they are much much better.

OMG I don’t think I have ever seen a smaller chicken. I thought they made a mistake and gave me 1/2 chicken. Tasty but NOT good value for the price.

The Churrasqueira was immaculately clean, the staff was kind, engaging, and friendly. The food.wow.that is the best chicken that I have had in a LONG time, and I eat chicken multiple times a week! Kudos

Got the half chicken dinner dark meat and quarter chicken dinner dark meat, along with shrimp patties and egg tart. It was delicious. The chicken was moist and their hot sauce had great flavor.

I called to inquire about pricing for an event, and I spoke with a woman at the Rogers location, who was really nice. She then got me the manager so he would be able to answer my inquires, and he was very rude, not helpful, and was speaking with such an attitude. Because of How he spoke and presented this location, I will not be giving them my business. Which is very unfortunate, because the food here is amazing.

First time here, my son and I went to pick up the family dinner today. The chicken, potatoes and rice were amazing! I need more of that mild sauce! So good! We also picked up natas de ceu and the name itself tells you how good it is! We will definitely be back again ️

Food is really tasty and the selection is great. Things are a bit too salty for us though, so we don't pick up too often.

Walking the Humber River trail and took a side trip for lunch.
Experience all round could not have been better. Service, food, and the Portuguese Tarts were the best we have ever had.

Very disappointed in my order. Placed an order for deliver from UberEats, on the menu only the “dinner” items show the chicken with a side of potatoes and the classic orange rice with veggies. But I wanted a larger order so ordered a whole chicken, large potatoes, large rice and veggies, all on the side. Even put a note that I wasn’t sure if the rice was the veggie rice but that this was the one I wanted and willing to pay extra for it.

When received, the chicken was spilling all over the bag, it was even leaking on the floor where the driver dropped it off. The rice was white rice that was not seasoned and so bland and over cooked. The veggies looked like over cooked frozen vegetables, and the potatoes were incredibly stale. Honestly the only thing good was the chicken was decent but smothered in sauce and the natas for dessert we’re delish!

For a brand that advertises to be “the best Portuguese chicken” in Toronto… I strongly disagree!

You should strongly reevaluate how you have your menu listed on uber eats and include photos. As well as looking at better ways to pack your food.

Worst fish dish (baked cod) I have ever had from a restaurant, even the cod rissois still had bones in it (? !). +extra star for the fantastic service and staff though, they were great.

I absolutely love this place. This was my fourth visit. Food is always consistantly good and tasty. Staff are friendly and patient. Prices are also very reasonable. Would highly recommend this location

I really wanted to love this place. Whenever I order it’s either a hit or a miss. I literally write to this store in English and in Portuguese to make the food well done. All I keep receiving is raw food. I don’t understand why. The manager just brushes me off to contact Uber for a refund, I rather just have my food done properly the first time instead of requesting refunds. To have a staff literally ignore EVERY single note, that’s honestly a safety hazard and showcases poor customer service.

UPDATE: are you really trying to argue with me over fish that you didn’t cook properly? If you used this time to cook my fish correctly, I wouldn’t be complaining. Photo is #1 from your restaurant when I asked for well done BEFORE (which I was very happy with) it is shown to be grilled with the deep grill marks and actually has the olive oil on the side. Photo #2: what is this? Your restaurant is not consistent whatsoever and I’ve never been rude to your staff NOR raised my voice.

Great place if you like chicken they pack the plate up more then generously for the money for half chicken dinner sweet will always go there come pair to others still good price and more on the plate.

I'm not one to write reviews but honestly this place has gone downhill. I was a regular customer at this place, every weekend I would go and get food, last couple of times I have been very disappointed. Today I went in to get food, ordered 2 bacalhau com natas to go,
I noticed he didn't have enough for the 2 portions and he would definitely go to the kitchen to replace the tray, that didn't happen, he proceeded to divide what was ab
out 1 portion and 1/4 into 2 takeout containers, my portions were horribly served this is the last time I will ever get food here!

Love this off-the-beaten-path Portuguese bistro. Very cozy and the service is excellent. The food is alway good and consistent. My wife is half Portuguese so we know good quality homemade meal. Lots of self-imported Portuguese wines to be had and was recommended a rich full-bodied white from Alentejano for $50. Will always be our go-to Portuguese restaurant.

Cafeteria food at cafeteria prices! No, this is not the best chicken on St Clair!

The chicken was overcooked, dry and under spiced. The tomato rice taste and looks no better than out of the box. I was very disappointed.

We decided to have a special working lunch today at the office where I work and the food was excellent! Great portions, great price and delicious!

The St. Clair location is nothing like the Rogers Road one. Even when I order ahead of time I have to wait once almost 30 minutes and no apology and no mention that my food is not ready when I arrive. The store is understaffed and the guy running this place doesn't know what he's doing, he even goes out to have a smoke when people are waiting for food. Not sure if he's the owner but I will never go in there because of him.

Just sumbled onto this place when we were buying our matress next door. Great food at reasonable prices.

My favourite Portuguese Specialty dishes and their Chicken & garlic sauce is second to none!

Walked into this place on Sinclair waited 10 minutes to be attended and staff member tells me 5 more minutes all of a sudden was told 20 min after waiting 10 minutes in line and seeing that there 3 chicken on the grill and would be ready shortly. But no I would have to wait 20 minutes after being next in line and knowing that the chicken on that grill would be ready soon? What's going on here? I have my kids waiting for me to bring food and I have to go somewhere else. Not happy with this place on St. Clair.

It's an okay place, but THE ORIGINAL LOCATION IS WAY BETTER on Rogers Road! Chicken is tasty and so are the potatoes, but the rice is so dried up that it feels like it is uncooked and hard and leftovers are mixed in with food that had just been brought out. Heads up on the Health Department's "CONDITIONAL PASS" on this place, because looks can be deceiving.

I was very happy to run into this place. First of the staff was extremely hospitable, describing things and ensuring that I knew what I was ordering and educating me on the food. Secondly, the place was clean and tidy for a high volume catering operation and finally the food was amazing! Get some bomb Portuguese food here!

Martin's has good food. In contrast to their restaurant I only tried the chicken, potatoes, rice here. And while they didn't remember to give sauce on the side the food was good and decent quick in and out of the store.

Food is amazing! We came in with a large party on a busy Saturday night. Squid I ordered was cool compared to everyone else food. Flan is a must, orange flavoured. Natas are served warm and the coffee was very good. House wine red was very good for house wine. Only problem was the staff they came across stressed and rude.

Stopped by here for the first time and won't be my last. The chicken was juicey and the snacks (dried ones) were all soooo good. The tarts were also perfect. The staff was extra nice. They were super helpful and helped explain to me what everything was.

Food are not good. Taste like no seasoning at all. Prices are not reasonable. Fish fillets are dry and does not have any seasonings.
