I had to re type this review. So it looks like the whole franchise system cut some costs. Because, i usually would get a bigger piece of breast or thigh. But, looks like the whole franchise system is cutting some costs. And getting a smaller size portion when it comes to the chicken thigh. Pretty much the same type/shape of chicken thigh you would normally get from Popeyes.

Food is decent but it's fast food so what can you expect. The owner/manager was working. He was very pleasant greeting everyone with a smile while trying to keep wait times low. He even knew some customers names. Nice job!

Went to pick up, doors locked no signs. Eventually someone opened a door (2: 00 pm)
30 minutes wait time for an order. Very unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere.

Love Mary browns but this location is not to the same standard. On several orders now we have received chicken tenders that if you were to put all 5 together it wouldn’t equal a small chicken breast. At over $11 for a 5 piece this is terrible. They have randomly cancelled online orders on us and the overall food quality hasn’t been great. We have given this location many chances as it was a new spot and won’t be going back.

Owner was great and very friendly! Mary Browns is always good. Comes down to the service in my opinion and here thats what made the difference.

Wow! No more driving to Bowmanville! I hope the food and the wonderful staff never changes. Both are Great. Recently edited.

This place has a patio! Great for summer chilling. Lots of parking. The chicken is up to par with the franchise. This is also nearby so I'm really happy they opened a location here.

Mary Browns as a chain.has great food but many locations have employees that just don't seem to care and the order is frequently wrong. This location is different.the staff take the time to enter everything in the register and the order is right.

On Sunday Oct 23 I had my husband pick me up a 3 piece meal for take out. What they gave him was 3 wings. Are you kidding me? 3 freaking wings. That was a total rip off. Obviously didn't know until he got home with it.

I've never had MB's before the Courtice location opened. It was delicious and the service here is really great!

Their spicy chicken pieces and spicy chicken burger is actually spicy! Will definitely be back!

This location is very clean and the staff is friendly. The chicken was fresh, hot and crispy. Very good.

This place is my guilty pleasure. I know fried chicken isnt the healthiest thing in the world, but its really hard to say no to a big mary and a tater poutine. Good mobile ordering experience, with a rewards program. Food is always ready and warm when I walk in.

We have been coming to Mary Browns for years and never have I ever received such small chicken tenders. As small as the sauce container. Should have given double when they are that small.

The staff was very accommodating, friendly and understanding. As for the spicy chicken, mac/cheese and taters were fresh and delicious. This was my second time there and would definitely keep going back. Thanks.

The spicy chicken is delicious. Staff is always super friendly. I would give 5 stars, but about half the time something is left out of the order (gravy, taters) or they give me regular chicken instead of spicy. Not a big deal. I still pick up food from here regularly.

Newly opened in Courtice and as a long time Mary Brown's patron (I've been to MB stores across Canada) I can safely say that the service is excellent and the food is hot and fresh when you receive it.

My friends and I went to Mary Brown's for some late lunch and were greeted with great smiles from staff. Everyone working in there was polite and kind. Restaurant itself was clean, as well as the female washroom.

I got the spicy two piece combo with the wedges, coleslaw, pineapple crush and strawberry cheesecake pie. The chicken was fresh, tender, juicy and the right amount of spice. Wedges were well flavoured and crunchy (I found out from the owners that they were made in house!). The coleslaw was really good, not too overly saucy. Pineapple crush was really tasty too. Strawberry cheesecake pie is a must order as well, super crunchy and just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the end of the meal!

Overall awesome meal, just like their Pickering location. This place is great for anyone looking into getting quality fried chicken and freshly made in house food served with warm smiles. Would definitely come back 110%

I tried to take a photo and missed the chance. I've been eating here since 1981. Never again. I had a long day of work and sped here to get here before close. I got here at 8: 50 and was told they have no food and were closed. As I was writing my review a white gentleman came in and picked up food I saw them place in a bag after I left.
Seems they did have food left after all.
Regardless? I'm never coming here again. 40 years I've been eating here and this is the last time
