Mary Brown's Chicken

Clean friendly quick service. Went for a big Mary and was not disappointed. The portion is good and filling.

Went to this establishment since we moved to Pickering a few months ago, it was good. The food has been declining and the service as well. Yesterday went and when we got home with the food the taters were extremely salty. I called to complain they said they would give us another box the next time we went there, I don't get that customer service feeling from this establishment. Maybe they only like customers that are the same culture, that is how they make me feel every time I go there. Then we tasted the chicken and that too was very salty. We spent 75.00 for a 9 piece meal with a chicken sandwich and that is not cheap for chicken. Never returning again.

The women at the window was nice but when I ordered my food I didn’t end up finishing my order I was told to drive up I said I’m not done ordering so I ordered one more thing then I asked what sauce I can order with my chicken fingers and she said I’ll tell you at the window drive up. I wanted to order 2 sauces. Her tone was extremely rude. When I got up to the window the lady was nicer. She also put my leg in a random fry box not covered or anything. She was extremely rude and disrespectful.

They upped the price nearly $8 for a 3 piece meal from september to october it was 12.08 now 19.97 after taxes. Disgusting coorporate practices for a "canadian owned company".

Tried the Batters Box, chicken was tender but very greasy, gravy was watery, potato wedges were so overcooked! Biscuits were hard and greasy, had an odd flavour, very unpleasant. I added a medium coleslaw, was grossly overpriced as was the medium gravy. Literally a cup of coleslaw $4.99, how do you justify
the cost? Very disappointing, people should know, given the quality of the food your prices are outrageous.

Mary Brown chicken is the only fast food chicken that i eat. I stop to pick up a two peice special on my way to see my chiropractor and the service at this location is the worse, they took forever to serve me my order, I was almost late for my appointment. Will not be visiting that location again.

Fast drive service at the drive through. The chicken is fresh piping hot and the taters are delicious. I prefer this chicken over the rest of the fast food chicken in Pickering. It’s great they are 100% Canadian owned and operated.

This is by far the worst Mary brown's location in Toronto. The staff is rude and the food is garbage.

Food was disgusting. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and both were just overcooked batter with almost NO chicken. My wife’s sandwich had dark meat. Took over 20 minutes to get 2 cold sandwiches, or whatever they were.
We have gone there for years and always enjoyed the sandwich. Never will be back.
Also, when we got there the cook was on break on her laptop. Here is a thought, don’t take breaks during the dinner rush. Just a thought.

Personally another bad experience with consistency with the staff in from pickering to ajax. I recommend people pick up the dip FIRST before ordering your food. This is yet another order with no dip.they will forget it in the orders they will move from cleaning to stacking then preparing your order withouta thought.that is a clear fact. So to prevent staff lack of consistency get your drinks and your dips first ask for it.demand it in hand you did pay for it if they dont do it cancel the order entirely.this normally don't happen with competition but it's most likely a lack of management issue.

Very disappointed. I ordered food here with my young child, specifying clearly that he cannot eat spicy food. We got our orders.only to find they gave him spicy chicken. We took the food back to the counter and calmly explained they got our order wrong. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, we had to wait 20 minutes for new food. While waiting, I saw an employee shaking a red-colored bottle over something, a smirk on her face. Her expression seemed odd, but I didn't give it much notice. Once we FINALLY got our "fixed" order, we were running late, so we rushed home with our new food. Once home, my son bit into his chicken.only to find out it was EXTREMELY spicy. Even the adults in the house could not tolerate it. Clearly, an employee at Mary Brown thought it would be hilarious to "prank" us with extra-hot chicken, after we repeatedly asked for mild. What kind of person thinks it's funny to mess with a young child's food? Do NOT order food here. They will mess with your food and health for a laugh.

Ordered take out 2 piece with waffle fries. Everything was very greasy and fries were limp and soggy. Will not go back.

Lady at the drive thru yeah gave me attitude when I was repeating my order making sure she got my order right, when I got to the window she still got my order wrong with multiple attempts and her coworker had to come and help. She seem new so I understand but if you're going to give attitude when taking orders and the customer is repeating the order to make sure you got it right, that's a different story and I suggest listening instead so you get the order right the first time.

We ordered Uber from here just now. The chicken was saturated in oil to a point where the skin was so soft and loaded with uncooked areas. We spent $50 for spoiled food. This is unacceptable to a point where it’s not even about money. I’ll strongly suggest your management audits your kitchen…. Had I known this is what I was ordering I would have went to KFC.

Lady at the driver through was very rude and quick to cut you off when your trying to explain what it is you want. To top it all off she had a smirk on her face as she handed me my order, that disturbed even my daughter that was sitting in the back seat. I called the location and the same lady answered the phone and put me on hold without asking or telling me. I had to call back twice to speak with someone.

Front desk girls are very good.
I am fully satisfied with their services.
Very loyal staff.

Don't bother with drive thru. Like multiple people have posted, they simply park you. Over a chicken fingers order.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE MUSLIM. This location used to sell halal meat but they have changed that a few months ago WITHOUT informing anyone. The food is NOT HALAL. Absolutely disgusting that they have been so quiet about this. I have confirmed and even called the restaurant to confront them about this issue & they confirmed that their meat is NOT HALAL!

a lady in the drive thru and kitchen usually. I think she's the manager. She's really rude and has no manners while talking to customers. Besides that, I enjoy Mary Browns food so I have no other choice but to go here.
