Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters

I love mary browns the food is great however this location leaves alot to be desired.i go a couple times a month, 3 times now ive been passed over at the counter and my food has not come out until the point i go up and complain (usually after waiting at least 20 mins) only to find the kitchen has no idea i even ordered and my food isn't eve started yet.this time i was given a coupon for a free mary brown sandwich for my "next visit". However i wuill never be back to this location of mary browns im sick and tired of wasting my entire lunch hour waiting for incompetent staff to help me, rather make hotdogs at work!

Just to be clear, I go to this Mary Browns at least a couple times a month.and I will continue to go there. I love Mary Browns, and this particular one used to be one of the best I have ever visited. I had previously given this Mary browns a 5 star, but after today, I almost want to give it 1 star. I ordered a 9 piece feast and a 5 tender combo. The feast was fine, but the tenders. OMFG the 5 tiniest tenders I have ever seen and I swear to god I only got like 12 fries.not even a handful. I am not exaggerating, the box looked empty. I paid $70 total for this! What a Fing rip off. I should have checked it in the store, but by the time I was home, I just wanted to eat, and didn't want to drive back there angry.

Great chicken, the pictures of St John's are worth the visit. Friendly, helpful staff.

I Recently starting eating meat again and someone recommended the chicken here; Amazing! You can't even compare KFC to Mary Brown's chicken! Quality ingredients and flavours. Friendly and gracious Management and staff. I will definitely be making this a staple choice for my family and I when we decided to have dinner out/in!

Terrible care in packaging my sandwich. Looked very unappetizing. And very poor portion of wedges. Lucky I was hungry and didn’t wanna go back to get a refund.

Great Chicken a must-try when you get tired of the big two and let's be honest, KFC is not what it used to be. If you are like me looking for that old Chicken crunch and skin that we would fight over give Mary Browns a try

Only hitch was the the delivery person took the wrong bag. Maybe order in person rather than the app.

Ate here a couple years back and wasn't impressed, however I decided to give them another chance. Wow. Much better. Had the chicken sandwich and it was great. The potatoes were super flavorful and not greasy.
Staff was very friendly, and the store was clean.

It's good if looking for basic fried chicken. Not too greasy like another well-known fried chicken chain that used to have a location in Petawawa.

The gravy is tasty but has a distinct mass-produced-fast-food taste. Not 'bad', but obviously don't expect anything spectacular.

Wedges were nice. Sometimes big fat wedges like that are inconsistently cooked or not cooked all the way through, but not these ones.

Service was prompt and friendly, price was reasonable for the amount of food I got.

The food is good, the taters are great. The service is always stellar and I love talking to the people working cash.

Always excellent service. Stopped in tonight for dinner and Kelton was very pleasant and polite.

Chicken was very greasy. Very disappointed this visit compared to previous visits with the food. The customer service was excellent.

Ordered a 9 piece meal and pop ins. When we got home the pop ins were missing. Instead of offering apology I was placed on hold while they “looked into it” was questioned several times if I was sure I didn’t receive them. When my mom went to pick them back up was laughed at by the staff when she expressed an issue with paying for a now cold meal. Customer service is horrible. They don’t care to make it right and laugh at people when they complain. We will never eat here again.

Clean restaurant with fast and friendly service. Not to mention Mary Brown's is the best fried chicken and taters going.

Ordered online. Ordered spicy chicken and paid extra for dark meat only. Got the exact opposite of what I ordered. Got regular chicken and mainly white meat. I ordered a chicken sandwich that didn't taste good or look appetizing. Order from somewhere else.

Order was missing 2 ranch and a chicken sandwich and 1 drink was wrong. Came back and was treated like I was trying steal. Lady in the back said she put everything in the bag and that it was right. Not the first time either if I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible experience.

First time for takeaway at Mary Brown's ever tonight.fresh.hot.and one heck of a lot.thank you it was delicious have never had this chicken and it will be a repeat performance

Super upsetting that we spent $33 on two meals and the bag ripped from the bottom and our food fell all over the ground. Waste of money, if you’re going to give people bags full of multiple items give them a plastic bag also. Not coming back here after that

First time eating here. Wow. Those crispy taters are delicious! Spicy Big Mary combo was great! Wish I had tried sooner.

This is the third time I've ordered a big Mary meal to get just the breaded portion of the chicken. No chicken just the breading, not to mention the chicken sizes have decreased to the point that $14 is not worth it. Send when we called in regards to the chickenless big Mary they just said "ok sorry. " I understand you can't send another, thats fine but at least own up to your mistakes instead of brushing customers off.

I ordered a big Mary this evening and there was no chicken in the burger only breading. I called the location and I was met with an awkward call from an employee who just said oh ok sorry and said goodbye. Long story short I am now stuck making myself another dinner because there was no chicken in my burger….

They have messed up orders in the past but today an item wasn’t delivered and they just said they sent it no offer of refund or to resend the item. They basically said we lied. Passed the info on to main Mary Browns and have decided no more with this restaurant.

Ordered hot chicken sandwich one night and got Big Mary Chicken sandwich so tried to order Hot Chicken Sandwich another night and order taker did not know what we were talking about. They no longer have this item and you can not phone in an order as the phone goes to voicemail. Off my list

Great chicken tenders. Wraps are a bit bland, staff are shockingly hostile towards not liking the wraps.

Chicken was really good but the "tater" poutin was very very salty. Will be going back for the chicken for sure however it is pretty expensive $35 bucks for 2 meals but we got poutin with both and one got a desert.

A close friend got yelled at by the owner for suggesting to one of our friends not to get the chicken wrap? Definitely not what I was expecting as we have been pleased by their service in the past, as per my review below before editing it as of now. Extremely displeased with the lack of professionalism showed today. The owner could really use some customer service tips from her other employees.

Fall of 2018- Delicious food, great service and fancy restrooms with assistance buttons. The staff was energetic and super nice when helping us. Restaurant was very clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for some good chicken!
Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious, not too hot and a great size. Give it a taste next time you drop by.

Food is pretty good, casheir was super nice. My friend ordered food after me and was giving a discount so she can save money on her meal. I noticed a free dessert cupon and asked if I could get it.the casheir put the order in and handed me my receipt with a smile. Her supervisor, in the back started to scold her for not punching in the order correctly in front of the customers. I personally think that could have waited until your line was gone and you could have pulled her into the back. My friend also got yelled at for voicing his opinion on a CHICKEN WRAP. Not going to lie having a manager yell at my friend and her employee is not good ever.

Great restaurant. The staff and owner Lori are fantastic providing a friendly atmosphere and great food. As an old sailor from the rock just passing through it was nice to meet such a genuinely friendly person and great restaurant.

Great food, Great Staff, Fast Service! I'm glad that we have a restaurant in Petawawa that has great food at a reasonable price and also a place that actually takes pride in the product that they provide. Good stuff!
