Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters

The owner and staff at the Silvercreek location in Guelph always make sure my order is perfect. I do come fairly regularly and order pretty much the same thing each time but it is obvious that they make an effort to remember me and my order and are always so happy to see me lol! Pretty incredible since it is basically fast food! Definitely go above and beyond!

I allways order here but lately the taters and the kids popcorn chicken are way salty. Hope they tone down the salt on it. Nonetheless chicken's good and always a good deal

Update. Ordered again recently and taters are so salty to the point it stings my tongue. Idk it's a hit or miss. Some days it taste okay but some days it's so salty.

We had the regular 13 family pieces with cole slaw, fries and corn bread. Cooked to perfection and tasty

Highly recommended, Service was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and tidy. Especially alot of space for parking. Food was well fried and crispy just the way alot of people like. I highly recommend this location.

I came by on Saturday 20th of May. I was blown away. This place has changed alot since I was younger. The interior has changed and the food has improved significantly. I came here because KFC wouldn't honor a coupon.

The young lady at the cash register deserves a raise, she is SO friendly and can engage with customers, if you ever read this go take a serving job, you will make a ton of tips for sure. The food it self was made super fast and the waffle fries are lit. Prices are really good because of current promotions, but the quality is far better than KFC and is fresh tasting. I'll be back.

I tried chicken and taters for the first time here and it was amazing. Crunchy, tender and hot. Amazing staff as well. I will be coming back soon.

Great and friendly staff, the order comes out extremely quick. So you never have to wait too long to get yours food.

First time trying and I loved. The chicken is fresh, the salads very tasty. And what about the straberry chesecake dessert! OMG! It's a place to try and it's worth the trip

I would say the Buffalo mary taste rancid taste. Please check your oil. Otherwise I hope it tastes better.

I love fried chicken. I love Mary Brown's because they make everything in the store. The coleslaw is made fresh in the store every day. Fresh cut taters. Whole chickens are prepared fresh in the store and fried. Yes it's a little greasy but it's fried chicken it's awesome. Go get some.

I understand time is tuff and everyone got to put the price up. But a 3 piece of chicken and 1 hot sauce and bonus no fork for the macaroni and pop combo. Plus the now format of the wage. More thin than thick is it just me or is it the value is going down for the price?

Tastes better than the other fried chicken places and the staff at this location are always great.

I had ordered some food through skip the dishes. In my meal should have been a can of Pepsi. I had called the store to see if there would be a way I could get my drink, and instead of apologizing for the mistake the manager decides to tell me she did put the pop in the bag, insisting the driver forgot it. I had checked my bag and asked the driver at my door and there was no drink in his hot bag. Again instead of acknowledging the simple mistake, she says she has to check her cameras to make sure. As for the food, mediocre at best, my Mary sandwich was stringy, and chewy. Would give 0 stars simple for my experience with the manager.

I ordered the Thai chicken Poppins and they were cold. Tasted ok though. Wedges were good, and the staff was actually excellent. Bummed about the actual chicken though.

Kind cashier/servers, yummmmmmmmy chicken poppers, below average "taters" (basically the same as the wedges from loblaws)

It was good, alot better than the chicken place from kentucky thats for sure!

Pooja jaura the manager always greets customers and her staff has quick and excellent service.
And even the chicken was cooked perfectly by cook Harry.
Not over cooked or under cooked as other places generally do.
Definitely visit this place seriously it is the best place to eat in guelph.

3 star for the 2 peace and taters for $5 hate how the taters come in bags due to it makes it soggy and price for gravy lol $1.25 please way over priced

I think they got new owners because I’ve never had any issues with that location until recent. Went in to order and after I paid was told I couldn’t get the dessert I ordered. The manager threw in another dessert for me though. I got hole and realized they didn’t give me the correct order. Called and complained and get a credit on my name for my next order. Called about a week later for delivery and ordered some items and then included the free meal I was credited. When I received my order they forgot my dessert. Just seems rushed and they don’t really take the extra minute to double check. Pretty unfortunate to be honest.

Went here for lunch and was surprised how good it was. Ordered the big Mary with medii taters. The chicken was nice and soft and the bun was so fresh. I'm in love with the Taters. The service was fast as well, even though only 1 person working and was close to when they opened. It was a bit pricy but it's good, so can deal with it.

. 2.5 hours after I ordered food 4 delivery.no delivery. I called and they said they can't find the order. Then said they will deliver it I pay cash only. This place is a mess. Worst customer service EVER.
