I have been shopping online with Mary Maxim for over a year. Many crochet afghan and baby afghan patterns. Love the selection. Love the prices. This time I decided to go pick up my order. It was a lovely 40 Min drive and when I got there, I discovered it is an AMAZING store. Clean, loads of craft items and other things to buy. Staff are so friendly. Worth the Drive!

Good variety here but found it a little expensive as compared to same kind of stores like lens mill.

Mary Maxim has something for everyone. Not just yarns and wools, etc.they have needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, and sewing supplies. Household items, clothing, purses. I could go on & on. Great store!

Mary Maxim is a great online and bricks and mortar, in Paris Ontario craft store.
It specializes in yarns, knitting, and crocheting. Selling patterns and accessories. What makes this store different, is that if you buy a pattern, and get stuck, you can come in and speak with an expert and they will help you. Can't get that at Michael's!
They have a great selection, of fabrics, Aida cloth for embroidery, puzzles, kits, accessories, and way more. If you are a crafter, this is your store. Pricing for kits is reasonable.
Highly recommended. Check the hours in winter before you head out.

Did I need to walk out with 10 balls of yarn.no I went in for one but with the good prices and fun ideas on display who can pass up the opportunity to try a new challenge! Only complaint is that there are lots of as seen on tv items available which seems out of place in the store? All in all for your crafting supplies definitely worth the time to wander through and find a new project.

Such an interesting store! Lots of crafty goodness! It's big enough that you can spend a good amount of time to see it all. Wonderful assortment of yarns and a huge inventory of puzzles. Worth a trip!

Love there kits but customer service is none existent. Don't expect to get help placing an order they will tell you they can't give u the same promotion. I accidently ordered the knit pattern instead of the crochet (after 2 weeks of having issues placing my order with no help). Guess what they want to charge me for the crochet pattern. Seriously? It's 1 page of instructions you can mail that for free. I was trying to save myself returning the whole kit as it's the same yarn. I thought I was making it easy for them to keep me happy but they declined to help me.
I will not give any more business to Mary maxim until they actually have a customer service team that knows how to help customers stay happy.
It's been exactly 1 week since since I left a vm for Laura and she has not returned my phone call. Great service. I have now called 5 times to resolve the same issue.
