Mary's Family Restaurant

Great breakfast but very packed when we got there and stayed that way the entire hour we were there. Been by a few times since than at 8 9 and 10am totally packed parking lot each time. They may need to expand or get the coffee drinkers and bar area so they aren’t using up the table space.

Ordered a chicken finger dinner for $14 plus tax expecting it would be chicken fingers and fries turns out I was wrong and only got 3 chicken fingers that were burnt to a crisp. Very disappointed do not recommend this place. Also has to wait 30 mins

Ordered a hungryman breakfast for takeout. Over easy with rye toast. Toast was burnt and hard as a rock. Eggs were fried, all 3. Maybe a difference between dine in and takeout.

Had breakfast here today. Eggs, toast, bacon good. Home fries way too greasy and undercooked for me. Took long time to get but they were very busy. Prices were reasonable. Waitress was friendly but person on till could be friendlier Did not say thanks or goodbye. Potential here for 4 stars with a little more effort.

Good breakfast spot. Could improve the interaction with customers and offer a second cup of coffee to people who order food.update.

2 months later and when I was in line to order the person accepting the order never once spoke to three customers in a row nor even looked up at us. So much potential but the customer service really needs work.

Update. Reduced my rating to 1 because again im here waiti g for a simple breakfast for over one hour.people served before me who arrived after me and i look on the grill and mine isnt even started.

4.years later still bad service. Waited for over 5 mins and girl (owner,) never said anything. Yes she is busy but doesn't take much to say good morning, be right with you. This is my last review of this place. I won't be back

We enjoyed our meal! Food was good, they even serve all day breakfast! Good friendly service!

I entered and noticed there was one staff standing in the back off to the side. I was easily visible, but yet I waited at the front for about 5 minutes without even so much as a glance in my direction. She only came up to the front when another lady came in and pulled a coffee cup from around the front counter, to which she didnt say a word to, made no eye contact, pulled out a coffee pot, and poured her a cup. I said, hi, she didn't say anything back, did not even look at me. I ordered, then asked if it was okay to sit anywhere, to which she flatly replied yes. I went and sat down. Food came within a good time, but when she brought it she just dropped it at the table and didn't even say a word. Service is definitely lacking. Food was decent. Place was clean, but the server was horrible.
I grew up in this area, moved up north for 10 years and hadn't been to Mary's in about 12 years, moved back to the area not too long ago. It used to have wonderful staff, great food and great prices. It has changed hands since the last time I was there, and I have to say I probably won't be back.

People were not friendly to new comers food was good but that was about the peak of our experience I would avoid if you don't live here they obviously don't want your business

Mary's restaurant is the best their fish and chips stay on Thursday is awesome. I love their feta cheese spinach omelette. And has one of those old-style feels to them of a real family restaurant. Love this place.

They forgot we were there. When the 4 of us got our food only 2 orders were right. Mine was missing the onion rings another Oder was missing the poutine. 2 of us got our food and we were done eating by the time the other people got their food. Didn’t get our drinks. I wouldn’t recommend this place the service was horrible and how can you forget you have a table of 4 people that had to wait 50 minutes to get half of our food.

Can order any item from menu from early morning until close. Meals are generous portioned and good quality. Service was impeccable.

The breakfast was amazing. Service was super and had a pleasant feel about the place. I would recommend Mary's.
