Highly recommend For Srilankan FRIED RICE and MUTTON KOTTU. If you want to dine in or take-out better you call and let him know because Waiting Time is So long he’s only one guy working (cook and server and cashier). Food is grate, worth it for if you have wait.

Best kothu in town all the hundreds of Scarborough kothu spots can't compare to this one hidden gem in north York!

My favorite place. Close to my apartment. Always great service. Best owner. Great music. Recommend for all parties and sports events.

Be careful when you order, you will have to wait nearly 1 and half hour even if you order before going. Just want the money just like typical Sri Lankan restaurant. At least place your order when the restaurant open, they shows a busyness where their is none.

For being in the predicament in life we are all in.covid.this is one place that will bring a smile to your face when you see and eat the food!

Their food is fresh and delicious. They also have a variety of items available. Huge portion size! You might have to wait a bit too long once you order the food but it's totally worth waiting.

I’ve been looking for a Biryani and finally found this store. I did not hesitate to purchase Chicken Biryani as I think they are expert in making Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. I was absolutely right!
The Chef was amazingly friendly, the food was delicious and the rice that comes with the chicken was a good quality. Can highly recommend this store.

Best restaurant in the area masala and his mother put love into every dish. Sometimes cooking times are a little long but it is well worth it.

Food is amazing. Wait time is TERRIBLE! I waited for 1 hour to get my food! 1 star due to wait time.

Excellent service, and tasty food — I really enjoyed the cheese and onion dosa and soup. The owner is very personable, and tries to make his customers happy. Definitely recommend checking Masala out!

I ordered Kothu roti and dosa from this place a while back and that was the first and last time i got food from here. I love Indian (esp. South Indian) food and would love to try out from different restaurants around Toronto, this place is pretty close to where I live and wanted to avoid the hassle of going to Scarborough. The food they prepared was not upto the mark, it was too oily filled with extreme amount of masalas (Spices) to my taste. If you don't want to travel to Scarborough or Brampton for a south indian food experience then it's okay, but i wouldn't recommend. But the people were nice and welcoming, the restaurant was pretty decent.

This place sure knows how to treat their customers. Constantly with a friendly approach. The food is fairly priced, regularly flavorful and clean.

We ate dinner recently.such a horrible food ever had.chicken was decayed with full oil soaked kothu roti.this place must be investigated by public health

Cheap food, friendly person, took them 40 mins to get the order ready, half of the menu is sold out and It's super hot inside

UNBEARABLE DELAY IN FOOD PREPARATION! Woul Have Cancelled If Not Paid While Ordering.

Good Srilankan food at reasonable prices! Not the cleanest place atleast the washrooms.
Got a sports pub vibe to it, not entirely a family space. The time took to prepare the food was really not worth, absolutely no care about people’s time and I was dining in.

- Heater not effective
- Takes time for preparation- so much TIME

I have been going here for year. That being said lately the meat portion size is low. Food doesn't taste as good as it used to. Despite that somehow price has gone up LOL look if you want Sri Lankan food and don't want to drive to Scarborough this works other wise go somewhere else for high protein meal.

We had an awesome in this restaurant. We enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and the menu. The staff are super attentive. I’m glad we ultimately decided to visit here.

This place is closed at 2pm when I went there yet they say they open at 12: 30pm and I called them nobody responded to my call.horrible experience

I tried dosa, it was not that good to deserve 4 stars. Reason for this rating is customer service.

This place was closed the last time I was there during business hours. And they don't answer the phone when you call.

I buyed Kothu roti here, I seen hair in my Kothu roti, how can eat this food, I throw the garbage. My $9 waste.

Food took legit 1 hour to to cook. I ordered Biriyani. Literally had such little meat I wanted to go back to the restaurant and refund it: (I threw away half of the food after eating half because I ran out of meat and eating extra spicy rice without meat is not my kind of thing. Went to sleep hungry
The receptionist was nice though. She had good customer service skills and kept going to the kitchen to tell them to hurry up.

Ordered through skip the dishes, took 1 hour 32 mins for the food to be delivered. I had Skip call me twice as the restaurant was sold out on ordered items. I had hungry kids and these guys literally tested my patience. I even called the restaurant to check if the pick up times were less that Skip but they hung up on me before I could even talk. The food arrives after 1 hour 32 mins and it’s literally the worst food I had in my life. No taste or flavour and it was a waste of $50. Will never order from these guys. Bad prep time, worse customer service and the worst food.

I ordered 1 mutton, 1 chicken biryani and one mutton curry however I received 2 chicken biryani with 1 bone curry. Very unfortunately when I called the manager to share the feedback I asked for his name and he said his name is Mr. Masala and refused to own up to the nonsense mutton curry what they have served and had the audacity to say what ever we have served is awesome and in case we have to share any feedback go ahead and do that with skip the dishes.

This is one nonsense restaurant and please do not order from them in case if you value your money.

Forget customer service if you have to order from this nonsense Masala cafe.
