Masala Grill is a delightful Indian restaurant with exceptional flavors and friendly service. The food is aromatic and bursting with authentic taste. A must-visit for any Indian cuisine enthusiast!

Absolutely worsttt food, they don't even care if we give the feedback. Buffet was 30$ which is absolute waste of money and not even worth of penny. Surprisingly this amount doesn’t include dessert. That is an extra 5$ for just an ice cream. Not even cities like Toronto or Vancouver have these kind of prices $$$$$. Even spoiled food is being served.when asked for refund manager asked to come next time to see the difference. Who comes for this kind of food and service when it is this disappointing even with basic items. Giving this review on behalf of my husband who visited just now.

Anyone who has healthy respect towards money, doesn't want their penny to go worthless. Hence, he went multiple times to try different items and to see if all had same taste. Also to the point of spice levels, we aren’t expecting Indian level spicy but these are bland and had no taste at all. We have taken negative reviews on this column lightly which is a mistake. Those are the truth bombs. Also, I would strongly recommend all my friends and whoever is reading this review to avoid this place strictly if you don’t want to spoil your health and a major hole in the pockets.

I had a recent experience of having dinner here, ordered food tasted like it was made from ready made sauces from market cause it had that tangy pinch to it, got a sore throat from the food too and my doctor told me after diagnosis that it might be from the food.

Service was too slow, and I saw the staff deliberately moving their eyes away when I wanted to ask/order something, might be that the store was busy but for me it was the last time to visit the store, slowest possible service, bad tasting food and not at all friendly staff.

Not Recommended to people looking for authentic Indian food.

The owner of the restaurant had terrible attitude including the employees! The food was not good either. We ordered Garlic Naan which was $4.50 each- came unbuttered! The naan's were frozen including their spring rolls!
They didn’t have half the things that were on the menu.
I would recommend Monsoon Restaurant any day over this garbage of a restaurant!

Got in to restaurant at 1850 and food was yet not on table till 2000. Absolutely slow and bad service.

Had a great time with friends and family. We were 8 people and the quantity of the food and taste was amazing. Service was also great, they kept checking on us if we liked all the dishes. Definitely recommend and would definitely visit again.

Excellent food and service. Only giving 4 stars as we couldn't eat more dishes on the menu.

The setting is in an old house and it feels unique and comfortable. I've been twice now while in town for work and had the buffet both times. Very fresh, very flavourful. Their naan in particular is quite special. Most places have fairly bland naan unless it is immediately from the tandoor and eaten within a few minutes. Something about the naan here has an underlying flavour which is unique and satisfying, and its mouthfeel is wonderful.

Food taste zero.
Servers were cooperative but the kitchen was out of most of items. Also the only items available seemed left overs and were altered.
Our previous experience was lot better.

My partner and I, from the first bite, loved the flavours and aromas our dishes gave us. Our server answered any questions we asked, and was extremely plesant when she checked on us to ensure we were satisfied. To be honest, a simple 5 rating was not enough for our experience. We are from out of town and there are some good places around the city that I live in, however I was extremely happy with our experience here

Went in for a samosa takeout and although they forgot to get my name for the order and were quite busy. The staff were pleasant and made sure I got my order in 10 or so minutes. Would go back again:) the samosa were good but I haven’t tried other Indian restaurants in town so I cannot comment on the quality - definitely better than store bought though:)

Worst Biriyani ever tasted! It’s like some tomato chicken curry and rice! I don’t know about other foods but definitely Biriyani is not something to try here!

Amazing food, service, atmosphere, everything! I love going here for vegetable pakoras, the vegan buffet, and delicious curries. One of my favourite restaurants in Tbay!

This restaurant was recommended to us (we are visiting Thunder Bay) and it was excellent. Great service and ambiance. We chose the buffet which was excellent and has a number of vegetarian options. Highly recommend this restaurant

Everything was good but the space. Not much room.

I went to Thunder Bay from Winnipeg via driving. It was May 14,2023, Mothers day, Sunday, around 5.30 pm. I was almost dying as I was tired and hungry, went to this place, at the reception desk one young girl and one young lad was talking to some other customers. My turn came and they handed me the printed menu, told me that $35+ tax will be the food bill. She asked me "are you interested? " Sounded so rude to me! Of course I was not wearing any fancy dress and drove a lot of hours before reaching that restaurant. So I think they assumed that I might not be able to pay them. I could have given them $35 tip on top of the food bill if they would serve me few food. Fortunately I didnt have my supper at that restaurant. Actually I dont blame them! Because you learn manner either from family or from the employer.

Excellent food more than the food experience tye customer service was so admiring and also I would like to mention the server "zee" I don't know his name exactly but his service was awesome which made us really pleasant
