Massage Addict

Place is organized, clean and neat; they are punctual and professional. Just the therapeutic session did not match my expectations. Had a subsequent session somewhere else and was incomparable.

I am visiting this location regularly and I had my massage appointment with Enas she is female massage therapist. I must say she is amazing, she focuses on each and every body part very thoroughly. She is very detailed and her way of doing massage was very relaxing. I do recommend her to everyone. Kudos to her great work.

It took me a long time to find the perfect massage therapist but I finally found her. As luck would have it, a cancellation opened up and Shilah Samuels was available. It was just a random spot open for me and Shilah was available so I chose her. I feel like I struck gold with this. I arrived and told Shilah what the problem areas were and that I enjoy deep tissue massage and she went to work on me. I was laying there halfway through thinking about how this was the best massage I have ever had when Shilah asked me how everything was. I took that moment to share how amazing it was and that I felt bad for her hands because she was doing deep tissue on me. Unbelievably, she stated that she usually doesn't get a chance to do deep tissue massage and enjoyed the change. At the end of the session, I told their reception that I had been looking for Shilah all my life.lol! Shilah usually works out of the Fanshawe Rd location but is here a tthis location every 2 weeks. I made sure to book again and can't wait to see her in November. Thanks a bunch Shilah!

I play different sports and like to be in top shape and free of any aches etc. I am fortunate to be under care of Dr Laura since she started Chiro practice at Massage Addict few weeks ago - she's definitely an expert in her field - you will experience her professionalism in first visit itself. I am thankful to her for taking utmost care of her patients. She explains everything in detail and ensures all concerns are addressed. There's been significant improvement in my overall health since I started treatment with her -that's why I call her "talisman". I will definitely recommend her to my family and friends.

I've been going here for massages and recently starting using their chiropractor services with Dr. Laura, she's been a massive help with my lower back pain, I'm still getting treatment here and will continue to do so with her.

Booked a massage online, but wanted to schedule one for my spouse at the same time.left a voicemail to book an appointment for the other massage.
Never heard back.called back once a day and never got a return call.finally call them back and was able to talk to someone and now the day i requested is full.really unfortunate that i wasnt contacted and this was going to be my first visit as a new client. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was a broken, disheveled man when I first started coming to Massage Addict. The fine therapists worked their magic and I can confidently say that I am slightly less broken.

I had a massage with Victor and I must say it was terrific. I have some nagging pain in my lower back that comes and goes and past RMTs have helped a bit I guess. But Victor really helped more than past treatments, and he took the time to explain things to me and how to deal with it on my own. Very professional and helpful!

I have become very ill with a sciatica issue and an arthritis issue in my back. I was recommended to go to massage therapy and until. I called massage addict on Southdale Road in London and waited three hours last week for them to return my call which they did not. I went online and I booked an appointment with an awesome masseuse by the name of Kevin. When I got home I booked for for today at 215. The receptionist said I did not have an appointment which is a complete load of crap as I booked my first and I knew how to book my second appointment. I got out of bed to go there and I was almost in tears when she told me that. The receptionist said I needed to call and confirm my online appointment which is a bunch of BS. I have never been so disappointed in my life The reception and the appointment person needs to be spoken to as I’m there or not to burn my benefits I’m there for a medical issue. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. The earliest I can get in now is Friday but after that I will never return to this clinic. Don’t waste your time people.

I had two massages by the same therapist and both times she was very distracted from constantly being on her phone. On both occasions, she would set her phone on my butt and I could feel her tapping. She also would be holding her phone while massaging with one hand. I think she assumes I can't hear her tapping the phone and doesn't realize how long she was pausing from being distracted. Laying there for 20 seconds on with nothing happening (multiple times through the massage) was pretty boring.

My girlfriend had a massage booked with her as well and experienced the same thing. We figured it would be awkward mentioning this mid massage however it is impossible to relax during the massage when the therapist is tapping away, stopping to text, and could care less about her job.

We didn't mention it to the front desk because we weren't sure they would do anything. These massages are all fully covered for us but if I paid 125$ for this, I would be wanting my money back.

If I owned this company, I would be thoroughly checking reviews seems this isn't the first time someone has complained about this.

Massage Addict has wonderful professional staff who are friendly and offer excellent services. I have had both reflexology and massage therapy and I would recommend these highly to everyone.

They taught a lot about my body and now I am more knowledgeable on how to take care of my self. Also, i received an excellent care from the doctor.

I have been able to find a few massage therapists at this location that suit my needs. I like the fact that they offer direct billing and call you the day before to remind you of your appointment.

Jordan and James are both great! Always leave feeling very relaxed, and massage has definitely helped with shoulder sprain I was experiencing.

Very reasonable member rates and friendly staff. Good availability and the online scheduling system is very convenient.

I always go this place for a well-earned massage. They take their COVID-19 protocols very seriously which is a big plus for me. And I always feel very welcome and comfortable when I arrive. Keep up the good work guys!

I go to Massage Addict for both massage and reflexology and cant say enough. Great pricing, friendly and professional staff, and I always leave feeling relaxed. Being able to book online with a specific therapist is also a plus.

Great first experience at Massage Addict. If it is your first time arrive with enough time to fill out the paper work. Nice and clean place, with friendly staff.

There were great things about this place and the RMT that I got to work with. Unfortunately it was overshadowed by the receptionist and the manager who refused to help get my massage put through my benefits. The Highbury location has 0 issues direct billing my massage and I was told that I would have to submit it manually. I questioned it and asked them to submit it through direct billing as I had confirmed with a different receptionist when I checked in that it was doable. Her manager told her no they wouldn’t assist me and I need to do it myself manually. Called Manulife and they confirmed everything was okay on my account and they have nothing showing for refusal.they were also confused why the clinic didn’t call them directly to resolve. Really poor client experience and because of this I won’t be back.

I guess it's considered a "normal business practice" to have negative reviews removed because truth hurts. Having worked there for 1.5 years I can account for the fact that every word said was true. The RMT'S are some of the greatest people I've ever met and are really good at what they do. The owners/managers of this and the other 2 clinics in London should reconsider the field they are in, because people skills and management skills are lacking to say the least. I'm not one for bashing, but when you speak up and ask for help - your hours get cut. Shortly after that, you receive an email informing you that they've also cut your benefits (because now you don't have minimum hours to qualify for benefits). In 1.5 years, not one team meeting was ever held, but when management wants something done their way - they come and yell at you. You get yelled at by management infront of new staff, who you just finished training, for absolutely no reason. You don't get quarterly or even annual reviews. You work anywhere from 5-13 hour shifts and never get a break. You are looked down on and gossiped about if you happen to travel even though you work part time. And the cherry on the cake, when you send in your resignation, your management will ignore you all day and then show up as you're locking up to leave at 9pm and are told that it is better for them and you and you are asked to hand in your key in the dark outside the locked clinic. At least I happen to be the first person to be paid for the remainder of my shifts unlike the not so lucky people before me. Think twice about working for such people.

The massage therapists are great, however the business owners are terrible. Extremely unprofessional (yelling at clients on the phone, yelling at receptionists, constantly gossiping about employees), petty ("firing" people immediately once they give their 2 weeks notice which is ILLEGAL, cutting peoples shifts if they complain about issues in the workplace), condescending and horribly cheap (cancelling laundry service, expecting receptionists to be commercial cleaners, refusing to replace broken things, cutting employees benefits, receptionists never get a break while is ILLEGAL). They expect staff to work their tails off for peanuts, while being talked down to, micromanaged and generally treated like dirt. I would not recommend my worst enemy to work here. Truly, if I could give them 0 stars I would.

I'm adding this review to all 3 clinics in London since they are owned and operated by the same people so the review applies to all clinics.

First time, they took the time to instruct me on how everything goes, have me the ability to change the pressure and were very professional. A+ will go back for sure

Best massage therapist I've been to. I love how you can choose your therapist until you find someone who works for you or change it up everytime. Great memberships too.

A massage is strictly based of your personal experience with your practitioner. Having said that, mine was a positive experience. The thing I really like about Massage Addict is how quickly I was able to get in. I was unable to get in anywhere else in the area for at least a week. Massage Addict was able to get me in the next day, (although I was working 'the next day' and had to take an appointment the following day). They also direct bill benefits companies, which is a bonus. The place is well run and clean. I will be returning.

James is professional and is excellent at muscle pain and migraine relief.
Great prices make your money go further and the online booking system is so convenient
