Massey Hall

I live the intimate stage that seems to be so open for everyone, and the acoustics have always been great. I worried s bit that once the Allied name took over. Some magic might be lost. But I believe it's still there! Cheers All.

It's a beautiful venue, but if you're big/tall, the seats will become part of you. It's still worth going, IMHO.

This venue is great! Saw shakey graves there this weekend and it was awesome! Sound quality was great and vibe of the venue was perfect. Definitely a recommended place for any kind of show!

Beautifully renovated, incredible sound and the seats looked spacious and comfy, though I was on the floor which was still a small enough area to feel intimate. (We already know the drill- over priced drinks.)

This venue is absolutely brilliant and breathtaking. The history of the building is so rich. I loved being here. The architecture is unique.

Still my favourite all time Toronto concert venue. The recent renovations have really improved this classic space with my very favourite being great air conditioning

Been to Massey Hall many times before the renovations. It was great then but now I realize it was getting worn out.

Toronto's most iconic entertainment venue recently underwent a makeover. The new bars are a fantastic addition along with the new GA option. The acoustics are fantastic.
My downvote would be the sightlines from the seats behind the floor.absolutely horrible. Wish the staff could keep the folks off the back railing, it would definitely help.

Went to see Seal perform. Love the venue but wish there was a clearer line of sight to the stage

We recently had the opportunity to catch a show at this landmark theatre. Its the first time I have been since the renovation was complete.

It's still the best place to catch live entertainment, in my opinion. Absolutely beautiful, and sonically, it's hard to beat.

Saw Andy Shauf play last night. While Andy and the band were incredible, I was quite disappointed with the ushers and staff at Massey. They were allowing people to walk in and out of the performance whenever they felt like it, even allowing people to return to their seats mid-song. I took the train from Niagara, walked the city, anticipated this show greatly, and was constantly disrupted by people standing and shuffling past in the middle of songs. It seemed amateurish for such an iconic, and historic venue and honestly made me feel bad for Andy Shauf and his band. I had seen him two nights prior at the PAC in St. Catharines, and staff made folks wait for breaks in the music to return to their seats. That’s how it should be.

Lovely place with great sound system which gives you a feeling of close contact with biggest music stars on earth.

Very excited to attend a business event on last Monday at Massey Hall. Opened in 1894, is internationally well known famous as Canada's most important venue for concerts and shows, was the long time hall of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

You can't go wrong with seeing a show at this iconic venue in Toronto's downtown core.

I had a solo ticket for a show. I sat down and wasn’t able to see anything. I’m quite small and everyone in front of me was tall, and the angle of the seat made it nearly impossible to see the stage. I asked if I could be moved and they happily accommodated me with an empty seat where I could see. Excellent customer service, beautiful venue.

Love it! Beautifully redone, great acoustics, excellent lounge area and lots of bathrooms.

This is not a child friendly venue at all. Charged us extra 50 dollar for an infant on lap seat that we had to wait in the pouring rain to buy. Yikes. Coming to a Raffi show and it was not pleasant. Venue also has no parking and staff have no idea how to deal with kids. Avoid any kids concerts here. Awful experience

The aqustics around the hall was fantabulous. You can be anywhere in the hall and Hear beautiful sounds. Will see many more concerts in the future!

My first concert at Massey Hall was Seal. This is a very intimate setting and really adds to the thrill of watching your favorite artist or band perform. We had our seats in Section 207, which is a balcony and to the right of the stage. The acoustics were very good from where we were seated. Absolutely loved it. Massey Hall is a 15 min walk from Union Station. I hope to come here again in the near future if one of my favorites performs.

Main floor seating is very nice. Got a very good view of the stage. Audio and acoustics is top notch as expected

In spite of the expensive renovations, it's still basically the same hall. Good vibe, good sound.

As every other complaint.the seats are too small. On either side of me, I had people oozing into my seat leaving me like a squished sardine. Please, change the seats back to being wider like the original seats.
