Limped in with a screw in my tire. Even though it's tire season and they were fully booked, they were able to squeeze me in within half hour. Turned out to just be the head of a screw and no leak. They didn't charge me anything for the service.excellent customer service!

Hate to give this review as I’ve trusted them with not only my car, but also my wife’s truck (and they’ve been really good). Here’s this situation. I brought my car in for a tire change over. Asked them to do a brake service as I don’t drive my car often and wanted to extend the life of them. They asked if I was having any brake issues and when I said no, they had the tech check and agreed that they needed service as the rotors had some hot spots and servicing them would be a good idea. So I gave the go ahead to have the work done. Fast forward to a few days later when I noticed a ‘thumping’ noise when braking from higher speeds. Unfortunately with my busy schedule, I was not able to bring it back right away but was able to get it back within a week of service. They checked it out and came to the conclusion that my rear rotors were shot and beyond service and would need to be replaced at a cost of over $450 for two rear rotors and pads. Here’s the thing, they obviously saw the conditions my rotors were in when they did the brake service but didn’t say anything to me. They completed the job, took my money and sent me on my way. The brake service for the rear brakes was $115 and now I’m looking at considerably more to replace. Why didn’t they tell me how bad of shape the rotors were in? Obviously they saw them and could tell how bad they were. I would’ve sprung to replace them instead of spending the money to do whatever they did to them. Now I need to wait before I can replace them properly, which will not be with them. Will need to consider whether or not to continue servicing our truck there but likely will be on the lookout for another trusted mechanic in the area.

Had very bad experience at both this location and their location on Lindsay Rd.just north of town. I'm sure they are "honest" and do the work they say, but I 100% believe they are told to "look for work" and will try to replace anything/everything they can that even shows slight signs of being worn.
I brought my truck here for a safety (3 months after buying it with a safety from Nissan) and the total they wanted to charge me was $3000. I ended up taking it to Nissan and all in the cost was under $580. Most of the things master mechanic said it needed to replace for a safety, Nissan disagreed with.

Similar experience last year when my father went to their other location to safety his truck, and again that total was around $2500 but unfortunately he didnt know any better and went ahead with the work.
1 example of their business practices - The truck needed a passenger control arm, but since they were in there anyways and the truck was lifted up they just went ahead and replaced both sides even though the other side was perfectly fine, and he was getting the safety to sell the truck not to keep it another 5+ years or whatever. They were doing extra work for the long-term of parts that did not need to be replaced now.

I have no idea what management tells them to do, but with very similar experience at both, over a year apart. I feel like they are trained and probably rewarded for the more work they can do.

With that being said, I did once before take a car there for safety and it needed nothing so the bill was low. Again, I think they are "honest" for the most part, but absolutely will want to replace anything that they can if given the chance.

Shops like these are suppose to be a better, cheaper alternative than going to a new car dealership, not risk getting hosed for thousands for extra work that just doesnt need to be done at that time

Edit: tons of 5 star reviews, but most are from accounts with only 1 or 2 lifetime reviews? How good is the service that someone has only ever left 1 review ever and it just happens to be for this shop each time. I wont give my opinion on that but you can figure it out pretty easily.

Staff are very professional from booking the appointment price qouted to the actual work and delivery of my vehicle. 2to Mckenzie, Jesse and his team. Please note this is our third visit (emergency walk- in) and the service has been exceptional and timely.

Five stars isn’t enough to express how pleased I am with the service I’ve received from this location. They are honest, fair, decently priced, quick…. And did I mention honest? When the dealership tried to take me to the cleaners and charge nearly 700$ without even fixing a thing… Master Mechanic was able to diagnose the problem, fix it, and address a couple of other little things while they were at, all for under 200$ and all within an hour! I am blown away at the friendly, courteous service, it’s a breath of fresh air to get servicing for a vehicle and actually feel as though they sympathize for you, that they actually want to try and help and address the issue. My vehicle never worked better. When the Honda dealership said they couldn’t do anything for me unless I bought (another) brand new battery… Master mechanic managed to diagnose and fix the issue (and then some) in an hour for a fraction of the cost! Seriously cannot rave enough about this place. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have both recently brought our vehicles here and have had great experiences. It's refreshing to find a fair mechanic shop at a good price. I came in with a check engine light and they had me diagnosed fixed and on the road in one afternoon at a price I was happy to pay. My wife also had a great experience with fast and courteous service at a fair price. Will be returning for all service and oil changes from now on!

I use my car for work so was important to get it back ASAP. Work was completed well before my car was required back. Easiest time spent at the mechanics in long while, diag felt like the car got a good once over as well. Highly recommend!

They are quick to help and friendly! I havent had to go there for anything major, but the little things I have needed help with they were very knowledgeable and put me at ease.

I had my broken down vehicle towed in for service after hours (without an appointment). Master Mechanic had the ugly problem diagnosed and fixed within a day. Totally beyond reasonable expectations. Only downside is that the car will reliably last long enough now to need a new set of tires, instead of being used as a trade-in or scrap
