I never review places simply because I usually forget. But this place was amazing. They did exactly what I asked after many tailors have failed me in the past. It’s a little out of the way for me but i’ll always come here now. Super nice people.

Amazing service! They went over and above for my son on a last minute request. Definitely highly recommend.

I went here to have some stuff done but the guy working here doesn’t know how to treat and talk to the customers, he has lack of professionalism. For the work done they are asking for cash only as well as they charge the taxes too on it. More then that i asked him to make a hole in my belts for which they are charging 2 dollars which is fine as everybody has their own price list but without asking me for the exact point where i wanted the hole, he made one hole and the time i asked him that I didn’t tell the place I wanted it to be done how you can make it, and then the guy made the new one but payment time he was asking me for $4 for two holes and the time I denied for it the gentleman and the lady there start talking at my back and start making faces, like this was my best unprofessional experience i have ever had in my life.

Recently had a jacket zipper which was replaced here. Over the phone I was advised $25.00 upon arrival store manager looked at me and right away I knew he will increase the price. Ended up paying $40.00. I did not get the old zipper back and since the driver was in and it was a metal zip I am 1000% certain it will be reused for someone else. Also the zipper replaced was plastic instead of metal. The price of alteration was the price of the jacket so I will not be going back. However it was a good enough job for me to cut my losses. I’ve read reviews and 100% agree. You are charged on how the manager feels that day. My cousin came here and he was told “just for you as first time customer 20% off” I didn’t get that. Also a customer infront of me was told we take cash only (upon pick up) and I had paid debit when dropping the item off. Seems like a way to save on taxes. I don’t know, I personally won’t be going back but suit yourself. Shady overall. Then again it is Scarborough.

I dropped off 2 jackets for dry cleaning today as a new customer, I was given a discount. I was greeted by the owner and had positive experience being at Master Tailor & Cleaners. The owner was very friendly and professional.

Very friendly service! Truly experienced at their craft, they sized me for some shirts that I had that were too big very quickly and efficiently. They also fixed my gloves which I accidentally blew up with a potato cannon (don't ask lol). Everything was ready for pick up when they said it would be. Couldn't be any happier. Don't hesitate, stop reading reviews, just come in! You've found the right place.

I had an alteration for a luxury suit done here and I am very pleased with the result. Masterful tailoring as their name would suggest. The staff are extremely helpful and know exactly what they are doing. The work seems to be done by a small team consisting of the owner himself and a few other seamstresses who all contribute to their collective expertise

I was looking for a professional tailor to alter my silk wedding gown. I booked an appointment and came in with the dress and shoes. My wedding dress was measured to the length I wanted and pinned. It came out exactly as I had asked and the finish was completely original. I would definitely come back here again.

I had two pairs of trousers altered at a great price and alterations were turned around in 24 hours. I received a first class bespoke service from the owner who is clearly a professional that knows the tailoring business inside out. He was active in his suggestions of changes to make as he genuinely cared about how the suit looked as a finished product. Outstanding service.

Got 2 pairs of pants tapered and hemmed. They did a decent job. Only thing that stops this from rating higher is the prices as well as minor difference in the taper of which were measured to look the same when completed. Nothing to cry about.overall decent place. Very friendly people.

Hajjy was a life saver! My dress took 8 months to get in and when I got it 1 month before the wedding it was almost 2 sizes too big. The bridal boutique in downtown I got my dress from recommended Master Tailor. Multiple alteration places turned me down because they said I didn't have enough time for alterations, but Hajjy and his team made it happen. Not only did he make it happen, his work is amazing. My dress was ALL lace and he hand-sewed every little detail. As any bride would be, I was a little nervous making so many changes to the dress so close to the wedding, but Hajjy and his team took the time to walk me through the process and made me feel at ease. He also helped me re-do my mom's veil, which was so special. Not only is his work amazing, but the experience was great. Thank you so much!

I came here to shorten my prom dress and they were very professional. When I brought it home to try on I felt like it was still too long and they helped me fix the problem. Great service.

Scammers! Avoid!

Dropped off a suit for alterations two weeks ago.had a thorough evaluation and pointed out all that needed to be fixed which they noted down.went in today to pick it up and the job was incomplete.they tried to say it hadn’t been discussed and then said would charge me $50 extra to finish it. AVOID!

A real gem in Toronto, Hajjy has just done a fantastic job on a fitted coat I needed altering. The coat was a good size too big and the sides, sleeves and shoulders have all be altered perfectly. I would definitely return, and have recommended it to colleagues around the City, as its close, and a personal service. I am very happy indeed!

Great cleaners. I accidentally left $30 in my shirt pockets (when I drop my cleaning off) and they returned it when I picked my cleaning up. Honest and reliable.

This place is good for getting clothes tailored. They're happy to fix the alteration if it's not to your satisfaction. I docked off one star because they don't accept credit cards. You must pay either with debit or in cash. Fortunately, I had enough in my bank account to pay it off. I wish they were more upfront about this. Because of this reason, I'll probably not come back here anymore. Once they start offering credit cards as a payment method, I'll reconsider.

Remember to bring cash or debit with you, or you might screw yourself like I almost did.

Yess! I finally found a place that -no jokes- are masters of alterations. I asked if they altered even the smallest things and they do! They alter almost everything from bridal and suits to plain t-shirts and jeans! The place is filled with so many other clients but consultations took only less than 10 minutes! The tailors there really do know what needs to be altered even without you needing to tell them. May I also add how friendly the front desk lady was! When I came back for pick up, the garments fit me perfectly! I left feeling satisfied! I recommend getting all and I mean ALL your alterations done here: no regrets!

Do not come here! Lost a piece on my suit for dry cleaning after they told me they would keep it for me and store it. So many better places in Scarborough area to go to. Also staff rude and unprofessional.

I've had my dresses altered here many times and have never been disappointed. They always do an excellent job and have outstanding service! I've referred all of my friends here. I would highly recommend them!

Great Service and absolutely fantastic tailors. I came with my daughters prom dress and it was too big and the tailor was able to make some initial adjustments. After the second fitting we asked them to make some more adjustments and they said no problem and made the changes without charging extra. My daughter was happy with her dress and the fit and I found the best tailor in Scarborough and they are a family run business so its great to support families. Great job Master and his team!

Horrible service.after they messed up the fit of my pants they decide it was my fault that it doesnt fit because the pants were too small to begin with.why make me try it on and do the work if you already know it wouldnt fit? Crooks! Never coming back again.if you want to take the chance go ahead but believe me, if they make a mistake altering your clothes.you'll be forced to pay to pretty much throw that garment in the garbage.the 4.5 rating is a lie!

I've had two amazing experiences at Master Tailor! For my wedding, I bought a non traditional beaded gown. As a petite women, I needed significant alterations on the straps and sides and length. From the moment I came into the shop with my dress, Hajjy and his team made me feel at ease about the tailoring process. With two fittings, he was able to make the dress look great on and make me feel confident!

I was nervous at first bringing in my dress to a male tailor, but Hajjy is truly a Master. I got a lot of good feedback on my dress and nobody could tell that it has been altered. He made it look and feel like a custom dress and I was happy with the experience from start to finish

My next visit was for a bridesmaid dress with a deep plunge neckline. Being small chested, I needed Hajjy to reshape the whole top of the dress. He did this wonderfully and again I left his shop feeling great! I'd highly recommend Master Tailor to anyone looking for an experienced tailor with a great eye for dresses

My wife took in 2 prom dresses for our twin granddaughters, on very short notice and they did a beautiful job of both and had them ready on time! The Lord lead us here and we are so grateful!

This place is amazing. I had two suits that needed extensive alterations and both turned out excellent. I always find it nerve wracking leaving a suit at a tailor hoping they don't mess it up but this place never disappoints. Excellent service and fair prices. Highly recommend!

Amazing attention to detail. I took in my daughters Prom Dress for alteration and they did a perfect job and my daughter couldn't be any more happy wth her dress. What is great is that they not only met the deadline but they did the job with such perfection. I would say the service is definitely worth the money and recommended anyone with any type of dress to get alteration on

This place is AMAZING! Very very reasonable pricing! I’m so happy with the service here. I came here LAST MINUTE to get my adidas trackpants shortened and I swear I couldn’t be happier! He was so busy and still got my pants done within an hour! 100% recommend this place!

Awesome and quick service! Came in with a bridesmaid dress that needed hemming and needed to adjust the straps of the dress. I was able to pick up the dress less than 48 hours after bringing it in. Owner and tailor was kind and efficient. Will definitely come back here!

Happy with the service I've received on both my visits to have some pants and a dress altered. With their fair pricing and fast quality service I will definitely return for future alterations.

Brought in my shirts and suits in for cleaning, that had stains on them from food and wine. The owner told me that they would try his best to remove the stains.

I returned back in 3 days and the shirts were spotless and pressed perfectly and it was like magic how they removed the stain.

Great service and great people, definitely will be returning back and will recommend anyone for their dry cleaning and alteration needs.

Brought in my dirty winter jacket and they did a great job of cleaning it and making it look like brand new. First time using Master Tailor and I am very satisfied with there fast service and great customer service.

Altered a fleece jacket and had a few other things stitched up. A bit on the pricy side but the service is 10/10.
