I was just in the store and the supervisor Deb refused to make eye contact nor talk to me even when I said hi. Not the first time she has done this. This location customer service has gone down hill. I will not recommend it.

Was in the store shopping for board games for my cousin. Deb was very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Assisted in finding what I was looking for quickly. Cousin loved the game! Thanks Deb and team:)

Nice options for all ages kids. Staff is helpful. There grandparents day deal that happens on every 1st Tuesday of the month is super awesome to save some extra money.

Avoid their gift cards online. Advertised as a “great last minute gift” but in reality takes 60-90 minutes to get to your email. Never even arrived in my email and had to spend half an hour on a chat with two different people to get it sorted out.

Edit (Feb 3rd) - I got in touch with their customer service department, and they provided me with a refund. So I do have to acknowledge that they did address the issue in the end.

Don't go out of your way to drive to this location today January 14th as it's closed and their website clearly is not updated as I drove here to find a note on the door. Closet locations are Oakville or Ancaster. Not exactly a convenient drive. Would be nice if this was updated on their website as I would have not wasted my time driving here on an early Saturday morning.

I usually like Mastermind Toys, but my most recent purchase was messed up. I was charged for an item they didn't bag and then spent almost an hour of my time sorting it out! Disappointed ️

Incredibly kind worker there was very helpful. Really nice experience. Was looking at toys and Pokémon cards and she came to me asking what I was looking for, and fetched it from the back for me. Exactly the great interactions you don’t get as much due to covid, will be making this shop one of my stops now whenever I go out looking for Pokémon cards or Star Wars lego for my friend!

Always been a fan of Mastermind Toys but that love has grown in this pandemic. The Curbside shopping experience is wonderful, and the knowledgeable staff are always available to answer questions. Thank you for providing a consistently safe, courteous and fun shopping experience!

I've been at this location before but was mostly browsing; this time came here on 28 November looking to buy two items. The website mentioned a few in stock at the Burlington location and therefore made the visit and found the information to be accurate. Ended up purchasing both from the store, which was well organized and had friendly staff. I would come back and do business again if I need to buy more toys.

My go-to store for buying great presents for my nieces and nephews. Every Mastermind store I've been to has been staffed by friendly, kind people who genuinely like kids and have lots of great gift suggestions. So much nicer than walking through rows and rows of big-franchise merchandising that every other toy store seems to offer. Thoughtfully selected toys, fun, inventive, unique toys that stimulate kids' minds and imaginations. Stuff that excites even the grown-ups' inner child. Every birthday and Christmas, I've always brought the coolest and most interesting present in the room. "Uncle of the Year" status retained.

Great selection of toys, books, cards and related material. Most of the stock is in-trend/recent introductions. I have rarely seen discounts/specials. You get great service and selection but at the full / listed price, which compared to other stores could be at a premium.

Mastermind changed their gift wrapping policy. They force you to sign up to a membership or else refuse to wrap gifts. Who came up with this policy? I feel it really loses sight of why most of us shop there - convenience with no BS.

Plenty of selection, with hands-on activities/toys for the kids to try out. I was disappointed to learn that they do not price match competitors, particularly for comparable items such as Playmobil and Lego. Trying to stay within the limits of a gift card for twins was an added difficulty, especially since the prices are significantly more expensive than elsewhere. Staff were courteous and the store was clean.

Large selection of goods. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Washrooms onsite too.
Just be careful of your kiddies running out of the store as it goes straight into the carpark which is fed by Brant street, a fairly busy road.

Very friendly and helpful. Place item over the phone and they held it for 24 hrs. Grateful for emails that gives me the sale items.

I always want to like this place but I somehow dont get great customer service when I go. I love the selection of items but find the pricing a little too high. My kids love shopping there and so I take them. A big plus is the wrapping they do. I enjoy that piece and it does have a solid educational section.

Popped a cubie out of my 4x4 Rubiks cube & couldn, t get it back in. Went to the Mastermind store on Brant st in Burlington.
The staff were extremely pleasant & helpful especially William who was able to pop it back in for me.

They have a lot of toys and books for any kids younger than their mid teens. Toys are fun and educational and a good selection of STEM items. They have free wrapping, but you have to sign up for their free membership as of 2019. They only need name, email and phone. My one complaint is they don't have any books on riddles, and i didn't see any puzzles or board games.

Good quality items for the most part, but plan on paying a premium price. The toys and games here are very expensive. Also, surprisingly enough, they didn't have a wide selection of brain teaser/puzzles.

Great selection and helpful staff. Free gift wrapping while you wait and easy returns if necessary.

Great selection of quality, educational toys and great service. I shope here often for my neices and nephew.

Very moody evening staff. Were rude and had some serious attitude not to mention were more interested in their conversation with eachother than the customers. You would expect this from teens, but two 40 something years old women. Maybe a bad day for them or hate their job. Will stick with Milton.
