I shop here occasionally and have an excellent experience every time. Staff are super helpful & knowledgeable.

It was great for small kids items but nothing really for that 7 to 10 year old as they are today. Maybe re think what today's kids enjoy

Was processing a purchase from one register that timed out after a few minutes, I was handed a receipt that said rejected. Then processed and completed the purchase on another register. I was charged two separate amounts for the exact same product, the manager told me the duplicate amount (which supposedly was rejected but still appeared on my bank statement) will be reversed in 2 days. This was 4 days ago, I came in a few days later and they said it’s a known IT issue and they’re working on it and I need to call my bank to sort it out…. I’ve been on the phone for almost an hour now regarding this and now have to talk to the claims/fraud department. Thanks Mastermind

Edit: For the record, i have sent an email to Mastermind as they suggested in this review's reply, and they said they'd get back to me in 2-3 days in their automated email. That was 9 days ago. Management really cares ;)

Sub par customer service. While I understand workers have no control of inaccurate representation of in-store stock online, the employee didn't have to go back and forth with me wether I was right or not. They insisted multiple times online was accurate when I know for a fact it can be inaccurate. There were multiple sets I went in for that they did not have, I tried to communicate that so they were aware that there are things online that are showing in stock when clearly they are not but they did not want to hear it and kept telling me that whatever is online is what they have in store and just wrote me off. I wasn't going to stand there and argue so I left. Clearly customer service is not a strength at this location.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. For online order to be picked up in store, they called to confirm if gift wrapping is needed. And they let us pick up one hour before store is opened (scheduled changed due to the latest Stay-at-home Order). Can’t wait to come back to shop in store with the kids!

I bought a Brio set during their 30% off event then found their original prices was 20% higher than other places. That’s fine because I liked their free gift wrapping services. However, what happened yesterday was unpleasant. I know the pandemic makes everyone’s life not easy, we can only do the curb side pickup. The store time is 11-5pm now. Yesterday my husband had to rush to store after work from Mississauga. He told me he would be there at 5pm possibly 5min late. I called to store and asked if they can wait him a bit. I know this is an extra ask and was really appreciated that they agreed. However, when my husband was there at 5: 05pm, no one answered the call anymore. I totally understand the staff wanted to leave at 5pm sharp but you could refuse to wait at first time when I called or gave me a call back at 5pm saying you are not going to wait, but you do not say yes when you can’t. It was a waste of time and made my son disappointed. Today my husband has to go again in the heavy snow. Wish for a better communication and services if there is a next time.

Highly recommend for last minute shoppers like me. Olivia was great. She went above and beyond to help an indecisive person like me. Thank you for all your recommendations and def will be back. The nice gift wrapping is appreciated. Thanks for giving me gift ideas for kids since I have no clue what's in right now.

This is our go to place for any children’s gifts! Fantastic books, toys, dress up clothes, learning based toys, etc. Awesome presentation with gift wrapping! Lots of cool little loot bag items by the cash. Whether you re looking for a small item or giant giraffe.the kids will thank you. ️

Great store for quality toys because I cannot afford to buy cheap. For long lasting as well as educational toys and crafts this is my first choice.

This is the best toy store. They have tonnes of helpful staff and they have a great selection of toys and books. Free gift wrapping just tops it off.

The Mastermind Aurora location let down my twin boys on their birthday. Mastermind was promoting the rewards program and advertised a little token a gift on their birthday. We went on their birthday to receive the gift and the staff at the Aurora Mastermind advised that the registration was still pending and they could not provide the gift. The boys were let down. It's not about the value of the gift or the gift or a toy, it was about their disappointment and lack of customer service at this location to resolve the issue. Unfortunately they have lost our business. I will go out of my way to find toys elsewhere.

Great place and they keep up with the current trends. Many ideas for gift giving and filled with a mix of educational toys and just for fun items. The staff are well versed in toy knowledge so if you know the age of the child but not their taste the friendly staff will help with ideas and price ranges. Store is kept tidy and inviting. Unfortunately the store is small so get there well before the Christmas rush for example, or you run the risk of them running out of that trendy item you are looking for. Remember the movie 'Jingle all the Way'.

My niece and nephew always come into this store. They love this store and they even know a lot of the employees by name which is alittle scary. Customer service is amazing and they have a lot of unique toys that other stores don't carry. And on top of that.free gift wrapping!

Their prices are usually a bit more then other toy stores but, they also carry toys that other store's don't. The free gift wrapping is great and comes in handy in a pinch.
