Recommended: they have a good selection of toys, stuffies and books at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They will professionally wrap any gift at no charge. I have not had a bad encounter here once.

Went to purchase a seasonal item that had a sign stating 50% off seasonal gifts on the shelf and no where did the sign say only selected items or limited selection. We stood in line for quiet sometime and when finally came up to pay the cashier tried to correct the price since other seasonal gifts/product on the same shelf 50% sale price worked automatically when scanned. It wouldn't allow her to correct it so she went to the back area to get her manager to come out to help her honor the sale. We waited again and then she came back and said no she can't do it for us at all because no one can correct the pricing issue not even the manager, which I find very odd. Then they just tried to say at the end it was only certain items and they didn't have enough paper sale signs to mark each item that the sale applied to, again no where on that sign did it say one selected items. We left the store without purchasing the product we wanted. There was a few others behind us too trying to buy the same items also all being told too bad, such a waste of all our time. Very poor service, it seemed like no one knew what they were doing which happens working with part time or new staff but the manager didn't even care to come out from the back to assist them properly.

I've been a long time customer but a recent exchange with management left a sour taste in my mouth.

The toys are high quality at this store. I've never had to make a return before. This is the only reason I left two stars instead of one - they have good products. After a recent purchase I wasn't keen on how it worked and neither was my 5 year old, and I went back to return it. They said I couldn't return it because the packaging was open. What? How am I supposed to try a product without opening the package exactly? ! I'm confused. We are paying premium $$ to shop at stores like this and expect better service than that.

So BE aware - this store does not accept returns! Yikes!

Guess I'll be doing all my toy shopping elsewhere. I can't risk purchasing pricey toys with the risk of knowing I can't return them. What a shame!

This store is a lovely place to shop for my children and others. Wonderful selection of toys, books, games, and Lego! They do free gift wrapping, if you sign of for their email newsletter. The staff are friendly and helpful. I often go there for gifts for my own children, neices and nephews, and friends.

Good news for those people who are interested in shopping without wearing of a face mask. I was told (by store manager) this is now store policy to allow anyone to enter the store and shop with out the use of protective masks or shields. We were personally witness to an entire family ushered into the store just ahead of us. Needless to say I know where I will NOT be shopping.

When I had a mix up on a curb side delivery, the store manager went above and beyond her duty to help me out and get the order straightened out. I really appreciate the customer service and how helpful she was!

We placed an order for curbside pickup. It was placed before the store opened for the day. Not only did we receive an email to confirm our order was ready for pickup, but we also received a phone call to advise us it was ready right when the store opened for the day. Such amazing service. When we arrived the instructions were very clear on what protocol to follow. We called, confirmed our information, and waited a minute for our order to be brought outside and placed on a cart for us. We were also informed when we called of a couple of specials that we could purchase. The staff were very friendly, prompt and courteous. We usually shop in Guelph, but will definitely return to your store! Thank you for helping out parents like me looking for some great spring activities to keep my active boys occupied. Great service. Thank you for making it memorable.

Placed an order online at 4: 10pm, covid hours only open until 5pm, still had it wrapped and ready. Simple, easy and AMAZING service

I received an email with a bogo coupon for 50% off a second item. I was already planning on shopping here as my son seen a electronic dart board he wanted for his bday, so the coupon was a bonus. The store was clean, organized and felt spacious, not cluttered, even though they have tons of merchandise. The staff were friendly and made my shopping experience pleasant. I value excellent customer service and they gave it to me!

Going there found everything I wanted. Other stores sold out or not much variety.
Will go there from now on.

Lots of variety. Good for boys and girls. Great for all ages. Helpful service without high pressure sales. Good for imaginative kids, educationally themed.

Free wrapping and purchase items at a deal with your purchase. Great set up, organized and staff friendly.

Staff is excellent very pleasant and knowledgeable. Selection can be limited at time and prices are on higher end.

The atmosphere, staff and cleanliness of the store are always above expectations and I always leave satisfied in those areas. I do fine them more pricey than their competitors but if you watch your prices and know what things are worth you can find a good deal on something you may not have found elsewhere.

The staff here are extremely polite. So much variety for toys! Free gift wrapping, and cool loot bag toys!

I miss actual toy stores This place took me back to my childhood. Still find myself going in, even though my boy is too old for toys. There is a lot of selection, but like everything, prices are getting higher. It's a shame.imagination is all online now.

More of a 'high-end' toy store. Very nicely organized, with a good selection. They offer convenient services such as present wrapping year round. Some of the toys don't have pricing on them but the staff is helpful and friendly

Great customer service! They made my exchange super easy to do and were very helpful. Great toy selection and store layout. The complementary gift wrapping is an awesome bonus. Worth the slightly higher price for the no-stress shopping experience.

Very well stocked and diverse toy store. I was particularly impressed with the quality of children's books. Staff are exceedingly friendly, helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.

Staff were amazing here so helpful and friendly. My 1yr old had his birthday today so we took him in and they recommended a remote control car and he loves it! Thank you so much for making his day that much more special

Heely’s didn’t fit my daughter so I returned them to get a bigger size. The wheels were never put into the shoe but was opened from the packaging. The sales associate, Neta, said hat they could not take them back. I had the gift receipt with me and she still wouldn’t take them back because the package of the wheels were open. So I had to get a bigger size but in the newer model because they didn’t have any of the ones I was returning in a bigger size. I felt uncomfortable because Neta was actually arguing with me. So I had to pay the difference of $33.90 to get the new shoes but she gave me the wheels that were in the old pair of shoes. I felt like I was taken for and will NEVER go back to a Mastermind Toys. Online buying is looking way better because you won’t have to deal with people like Neta. Thanks for ripping me off. See you never.

After my encounter with the employee, I contacted the head office which were very pleasant to deal with. She resolved the issue very quickly and was happy with the end result.
