Mastermind Toys

Incredible service, and friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised when I passed the store last week in the beaches. I also just learned recently The mastermind Toys is one of the largest Canadian toy company's. And this specific locations been open for the last 35 years!

Visited yesterday and had such a great interaction with Maddie! Such a pleasant experience!

Had an awful experience. Recently I went through a bad breakup and decided to treat myself to a squismellow to cheer myself up. A sign read "50% off of select items" so I asked if the squishmellow was included in that. The older employee replied " yeah it is, just like it says right there on the sign" in a condescending tone. How disgusting to treat a customer that way for asking a simple and reasonable question. I believe this was the manager and I hope she gets fired. Will not be back.

I have gone to this store multiple times over the years, but went today.and wow, what a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Staff (and I think the owner, actually) were nearly openly rude. Arrived in a good mood, left feeling like "Don't go here again". No "thank you" when I made my purchase, not a smile on anyone's face even though I was genuinely trying to be friendly and engage them in my pursuit of a gift for my 1-year-old grandson. Sorry to leave you a bad review, but that was a very unpleasant experience.

I would like to thank the wonderful staff who were so very kind and patient with me today as I had a mishap and it left me very stressed. I appreciated your thoughtfulness so very much!

Friendly, helpful and patient staff. It was the first time we took our son (2.5) to a toy store. He enjoyed the experience and was well behaved. Would definitely come back again!
Update: patient staff as child was indecisive in choosing one toy.

So much fun shopping for our grandkids. Always helpful staff. A good selection of everything kids love.

Always friendly and extremely helpful. I enjoy going there and often seek out advise even in obvious purchases, they always have valuable input to make the best out of your purchase.
