After reading negative reviews, I still decided to call. This was a mistake - no owner do not comment to defend your actions.

They discriminate against certain breeds right off the hop and after agreeing to meet my beautiful, well behaved dog - they didn’t bother emailing with an appointment time, like the girl who I spoke to said the owner would.
When I called back, turns out the girl who answered the phone is the owner so I’m not sure why you lied. You speak to many in a day, don’t be foolish to think you can squirm your way out of a fib. Those who wait for that consult after having to convince you otherwise, remember.
I genuinely wish this went differently because what looks like a great environment turned into a huge disappointment.

We’ve already spoken and your lack of professionalism, returning emails, phone calls and requests is appalling. You may have an animal whatever degree but you need a business education to follow, clearly. They are also moving out of the city apparently so I’m glad I didn’t bother because my need is here.

Update to owners response: you keep contradicting yourself. Hopefully others also see through your excuses and zero self control.

Mavis has been with Masters of Mischief since she was 6 months I believe, and has only grown into the amazing dog that she is because of the angels that work so tirelessly with her (Jess and Emily)
Emily and Jess are so consistent with their work they put into each and everyone of the pups there, daily enrichment, carefully crafted playrooms and excursuses that Mavis wouldn’t be where she is today without them.
Drop off and pick up have always been a treat, and to hear about our girls day along with the detailed report cards we receive has really helped us grow as pet parents alongside our girl Mavis.
We look forward to seeing Jess and Emily every Thursday and Friday but I think Mavis is the happiest one to be able to play with her friends and receive the enrichment she deserves from the canine and social club

I talked to the owner who seemed quite knowledgeable and helpful with tips for my older puppy. Unfortunately that's where the help ended. Booked a training session with her and was told I'd get a confirmation email. A week later, nothing. Called and spoke to another staff member and was told I'd have a confirmation email by the end of the day.then nothing. Called twice more and they didn't answer. No response to a voice-mail. No response to an email. Their voice-mail said that no training is considered booked without confirmation. Eventually I just gave up.

Outright ignoring customers and wasting a week of their time is an interesting business practice, but doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that they'll treat my dog with care or myself with just basic respect. For comparison I emailed another local trainer at 9pm and they were in contact with me at 7am the next day.
