I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Dr. Frank Mastrogiacomo at North York General Hospital started December 9 2020 with our first meeting. He explained the procedure and what to expect before and after very clearly. He answered all my questions, made me feel at ease and I immediately new he was the one for me. It wasn’t too long after my visit with him that his wonderful kind executive assistant June called me to book a date in January 2021. June knows all the things you might have forgotten to ask at your appointment. The first surgery went well and the care I received at the hospital was wonderful. The whole orthopaedic crew were so kind and very helpful from surgery to aftercare. After going home I was determined to follow all the Physio workout which helped in my success. Dr. Frank Mastrogiacomo was very please so he allowed me to book my second knee surgery. I had the same determination with Physio I had the same result. Now a year later I can do everything without pain he has given my life back. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

If I could rate this doctor zero on the scale I would. I didn't even talk to him but I cancelled my appointment. Shameful behavior of the secretary which is reflects his attitude towards the patient. Complete contra recommendation.

In 2010 I was referred to DR. Frank Mastrogiacomo. I had an ACL replacement on my left knee and it was a success. I don't feel any pain till this day. 5 years ago I had a meniscus tear on my right knee and I went to dr. Frank Mastrogiacomo and he did an amazing job. I will soon be getting my third surgery in the new year I decided to jog again about 2 years ago and I messed up my right knee again. Another meniscus tear and a bit of arthritis. This doctor is really amazing and makes you feel comfortable and is very trustworthy. I highly recommend dr. Frank Mastrogiacomo.

Dr. Frank Mastrogiacomo is an orthopedic surgeon specialized in lower extremities. He is highly skilled, experienced, caring & kind & has an excellent bedside manner. I had the misfortune to have a slip & fall on ice in January which resulted in a serious trimalleolar ankle fracture and required ORIF surgery. I was blessed to have Dr. Frank as my orthopedic surgeon! Dr. Frank is the best there is; highly respected & highly recommended!

Dr. Mastrogiacomo is a gifted surgeon with exceptional people skills, sincere compassion and great good humour. I feel utterly privileged to have had him to replace my hip joint. I was afraid to say the least. His warm and expert receptionist June was my first contact with him and the experience just got better and better. Dr. Mastrogiacomo visited me each day in the hospital and lifted my spirits. He used manipulables to explain the procedure in adult language, respected my ability to understand and answered every question respectfully and kindly. He is a gem of a person with a warm heart and respect for his patients. He has an arch sense of humour and a winning disposition. Deep-felt thanks for all your care.

My husband recently had knee replacement surgery at tegh performed by dr frank and his staff, his expertise and skill were exceeded only by his friendliness and the genuine sense that he really cared about my husband and the success of the procedure.
Almost a month later Rodney is doing fantastically, the.only real issue is the handling of pain issues-particularly after rehab and daily workouts. Rodney is extremely mobile and has needed little or no assistance in any activities. We are indebted to Dr Frank and his office (JUNE), the staff of TEGH and Providence. Villa rehab and my family doctor for their dedication and care. This is a perfect scenario for what Ontario healthcare is all about.
