Mathnasium

Mathnasium in Clarkson is wonderful. The centre is clean, pleasant and organized. Paul is kind and funny, as are all who work there. The curriculum is flexible to my son’s strengths and needs. My son would like to go more often than scheduled, that says it all! I recommend it highly.

Mathnasium of Clarkson has supported classroom learning and expanded my daughters’ knowledge by exposing them to new topics. Mathnasium has helped them stay on track and get ahead by introducing next concepts. They are able to work with the curriculum as well as advance their program. An excellent support for students.

Paul and his team have beyond our expectations in creating a fun and challenging environment for our son, we’re so happy we decided to join!

The students love coming to the Mathnasium. They are always excited, ready to learn, and engaged. It is very rewarding to work alongside and to guide them and watch them grow.
I have seen them personally makes lots of progress as they work through the material and ask questions.
The Mathnasium is very helpful and provides a great learning environment for younger children as well as for older students in High School as they work through more advanced math concepts.
The teaching team is very diverse and come from a broad range of backgrounds and are all well versed and skilled in supporting all different kinds of students on a great variety of topics. They also undergo specific training to ensure they are teaching and explaining topics in ways that are the most effective and friendly (especially for younger students) (i have experienced this first hand as a math instructor at the Mathnasium of Clarkson).
The students really learn a lot and it is a great supplement to what they are learning in school. Oftentimes Mathnasium goes above and beyond the school curriculum to really ensure students understand the topics. It is an environment where students are able to receive more dedicated personal one-on-one support that can be really helpful sometimes.
Overall the atmosphere in the centre is amazing and it is a beautiful learning environment. After working at the Mathnasium for nearly 6 months, not only have i learned a lot personally and been able to experience the centre's positive, engaging, fun and lively atmosphere, but I've also seen the students grow, learn, put in hard work, and be motivated to learn math (both younger and older students) ; it's a great space.

As an instructor, the work environment is positive, flexible, very enjoyable, and it is extremely rewarding to work with and guide the students. It is a great learning and working environment that i strongly recommend.

From the initial assessment Mathnasium stood out against other tutoring businesses that we have employed. They are very personalized and went beyond just testing our 2 kids (M and K) to inquiring about their thought processes. I would strongly recommend their service we have already seen results! My daughter has been going for over a year and we have seen a great improvement in the way that she views math problems and understands how to break down questions. Highly recommend as a program that teaches vs forces repetition.

I like that Mathnasium has made math fun for my daughter. This is in large part due to the manager (Paul) creating a positive, welcoming, and rewarding atmosphere. They also cater to the needs and abilities of each student, and that’s really what puts them ahead as a math learning program. My daughter’s math performance at school puts her at the top of her very competitive class now (she was already a strong performer). Most of all, while part of this is due to her desire and drive to succeed, Mathnasium has really fostered her love of math.

My daughter went from really struggling to now A, s. More important than the grades, she is loving it and becoming confident. The love comes from her high marks and beating her friends. I will forever continue to this investment for her. Wish I had this when I was a child! Thank you Mathnasium!

I am glad I chose Mathnasium for both my kids. They are excited to go to Mathnasium and happy to learn the most dreaded subject. Mathnasium did make math fun for my kids.

The Mathnasium team at Clarkson Crossing is wonderful! Since starting last year, my son has gained so much confidence. His math marks have improved by a full grade and he no longer is worrying about not being able to keep up with his peers. Thank you so much!

In the month and a half my 8th grade son has been attending Mathnasium, he has already shown improvement in class work and tests. Happy with the progress thus far and what’s even better is he looks forward to going twice a week, enjoys his time there and has a sense of accomplishment afterwards. All around great choice for my son!
