Do not buy from this Builder. They only nice until they get your money. I had to finish myself most of the work on the home that I paid almost a Million dollars. Poor quality, poor customer service and cheap build.

Would put 0 if I could. Impossible to get in contact with respectful answers with this builder. Our contract states the work would be completed properly. It was not and they refuse to do anything about it.

My moisture barrier wasn't installed properly from installation. I'm the original owner. There is no way we could have known. It is more than 2 years that we've had our home and they keep saying it's out of warranty.but the warranty applies to completed work.

If work is done incorrectly than it is incomplete. How many people can pass off incorrect work as complete work to their bosses and clients? I can't.

All managers we've been in contact with so far have been dismissive and disrespectful, frustrating to no end and taking no responsibility. My home is being DAMAGED because of this! I'm out thousands of dollars because of how many corners were cut in this home. This was the last straw for us. This company doesn't have integrity of stand behind their work or that of their myriad of trusted contractors.

Pictures to come soon. I need this resolved but hopefully the walls of my house don't rot or crumble first. I have paid thousands for multiple experts tell me the same story: it's an unbelievable installation problem from day 1.

If you're looking to be abandoned by a homebuilder, not have contractually agreed upon work completed, ignored and treated like you're incompetent, this is the company for you.

Awful service and awful products. We feel robbed and won't be recommending this builder to anyone at all.

About house quality is not bad.they have a lots for loopholes to save money. Mattamy homes i don't know personal deal with hot water Company
Crickets comfort homes.that company installing hot water tanks.and charge 56$ per/month forcefully put in contract 14 year.if you want to break contract then you pays 4400 $. Market price is just 1200 + tax.if you ask to Mattamy they keep quite on this topic.this information for awareness.

Very happy and satisfied with the entire process, specially being a first time home buyer. Yes, the initial booking was a tremendous challenge, but totally worth it for the smooth process and high quality end product. Special thanks to the construction crew, Brian and Steve, for the effort and sincerity put in towards the timely completion and superior quality of the townhouse, particularly considering challenges due to Covid-19. Also, to the Customer Care coordinators, for their efficient and timely responses and updates! We are most satisfied with the high quality of finishing and workmanship throughout the house!

Worst experience. PLEASE DONT WASTE MONEY GO TO OTHER BUILDERS. They charged different prices for same sq ft area construction and same model type saying that prices have changed but they earlier said it will be the same as phase 14 but when they launched one lot 4199 with 15 they charged lot 15 charges which was around 25000 extra.

Guidelines for the new phase early lineup were good. They eliminated the waiting game by having you committed to a number with various check in dates. Staff here are friendly and knowledgeable

I'm a first time home buyer. The experience was new. The process was organized well. It was hectic but Mattamy Homes staff at this location was very welcoming, answered all my questions with no hesitation and with calmness. I am still in the process with them as I have not moved into my new home yet but so far I am not disappointed and the journey is pleasant. Thank you Mattamy Homes for helping create great memories through my path to my new home!

Nice place but they don’t negotiate or don’t allow people to discuss anything as they are always out of time, hope they are more transparent in dealing and honour the timelines they have provided to people

I bought a town home from this builder sometime in May 2018. Its 59 Rockbrook Trail Brampton. The workmanship was not good in general.

In particular the laminate that was put in living room and family room was very mediocre. It was not installed correctly and I even saw some bumps at few places.
Such items are normally covered under Tarion warranty 1 month time limit. To my bad, I was facing some health issues and couldnt really prepare the list in time and got it fixed. However, I did submit the form about 40 days after instead of 30 days time limit.
However I was told that such issues can also be fixed within a year when I am due for submitting list of my items by the end of 1 year.
And I did that and to my surprise, Mattamy guy rejected my claim saying I am the one who damaged this. I pursuaded this matter a lot with no success. Finally I just made one request to Mattamy that can I BUY some of the matching laminate boxes so I can get someone to fix that area of flooring which was not correctly done.
Unfortunately the Mattamy person just gave me trade contact number. I called trade contact number and those guys are not really interested.
Now I have no other option but to change the entire laminate of the main level.
My garage door also had an issue and I was refused.

They are not at all transparent about the number of homes being released upfront.
If this information is available in advance buyers can decide in advance and not waste their valuable time.
There process is very very slow and inefficient.
Expected Mattamy to be more IT savvy to improve efficiency for better customer service to buyers.
The quality of houses is not what Mattamy used to ten years back.

Bought a house in brampton a month ago.not a good experience. First closing was late and lot of things bot done properly.they forced to signed the water heater contract with crickethomecomfort company which don't provide any service.i think that mattamy own this company and charging me high cost for monthly payment.after closing i don't have hot water and builder saying thay they dont have responsibility and cricket company saying they dont have technician.i have small kids and without hot water is so bad.i would not recommend this builder and their third party company cricket home comfort.

I was there for the newly released Mount Pleasant North Brampton Homes yesterday. The opening was scheduled at 10am. I was informed 1 week ago by the sales staff that I need to be early to get into this but never indicated a waiting list will be open few days earlier. I reached there at 8am and found crowd already infront of sales office and a tent. People were begging to open the tent because of severe cold and they didn’t open it until around 9.30. I got a waiting list number of 349 and came to know that the list was already started 3 days ago with Mattamy’s permission.

The issues with this release are;
1) The brochures showing release of 400 units, still the available lots for buying was just 86. Why didn’t they publish this information on their website?
2) Mattamy knew the waiting list started on Wednesday, 3 days before the releasing date. Why didn’t they inform all the buyers about this via website or sale people?

3) Why did they forced 400 or more people to wait in this severe weather conditions if they knew there were only 86 lots to be sold.

Suggestion for improvement;

1) If the opening time is Saturday 10am, they should only start it at 10am on a first come first serve basis, like a Boxing day” sale

2) If a waiting list starts before the release date, it must be published so all buyers get a chance to participate equally.

3) On the release date, at 10am, if the available lots are just 86, select the 86 people who came first in the queue or list and let others go so that people can save time rather than wait in the cold without any hope.

Hope you could implement a transparent and efficient system to uphold humanity!

I would not recommend Mattamy. I went in when we received the emails. I seen people making a list. I asked the 2 ladies working there if we need to put our names on the list? She replied, no you don't. Its not an official list. Then come Saturday morning, they honoured the lost the "volunteers" made.

I had very bad experience with the way things getting organized in Peel projects, multiple lineup odd hour roll calls, Mismanagement it really show that Mattamy is not interested in quality service and show it show that you are rude and not at all welcoming.

I will never recommend your projects neither to friend family and colleagues in addition I will inform everyone how the whole sales process gets scheduled where broker middle men started making money because of your wrong practices of holding queue and roll call days before actual release of projects.

I will happily move out from your projects as there are still builders who know what service means.

Mattamy Homes. I had to give one star because there is not dislike button or zero star category. Pathetic Warranty service, they only buy time to basically say it's beyond our warranty period. Our porch stairs are all broken and it's been from day 1 ever since we moved. Mattamy fixed it first year and again it broke. They again did a shady job of fixing it. Now they are saying it is because we put too much salt.did their review without informing or discussing us. Only if they show up to review we can let them know that it broke even before the winter started.nobody puts salts in Summer. Just washing their hands off. Not again with Mattamy. #Nomattamy
