There are people (neighbors) who take their dogs for a walk, very beautiful landscape in winter, the bad thing is that there are dog owners who leave their pets' dirt on the floor, cross out for Canadians

It is quite fascinating to have such a park in a residential neighborhood. Alot of activities can be done such as baseball, soccer, tennis and dog play areas, separate for small and big breeds.

The green turtle at the water fun zone is cute. Benches are located properly, so you can always find a shady relaxing spot.

I called this park as a Mini Wonderland, since kids can have so many fun and activities in this park! Love it

Nice little park with a playground and a splash pad. Can get quite busy on the weekend, but nothing too crazy. Small trees only provide a little shade during the summer.

I love to come here with my freinds during the summer! And if its a hot day, the ice cream truck passes by. My friends like playing on the splash pad until we get cold. Then we go to the dry park.

New park floor with rubber tiles and clean. Plenty of space for kids to play. Slides and water park.

Nice splash pad. Kept clean. It was busy but not too full. Playground was under construction but the splash pad alone kept my twins busy.

Very nice and spacious splash pad! The play structure for the playground was under construction but that's okay. Water was very cold. Lots of sahded areas and benches to sit on.

Many ammentities such as a baseball diamond, soccer field, tennis courts, small hills and even a bocce ball court. There is a public washroom/changeroom as well.

Finding parking is easy and park is good for quick evening stroll with a girlfriend after a long day or an argument

I want to refer to the splah pad part of the park. It is a very nice idea BUT the place is left totally without technical service. This is very dangerous and a health hazard. Let me explain: all the drains are clogged and as a result, ad-hoc pools of water form. Although this is a lot of fun for the kids (I bring my 2 years old granddaughter here sometimes) I consider this as a focal point for bacteria to develop, especially because this was not the initial intent of the facility (obviously no water purification or disinfection as in a public pool are provided for these ad-hoc shallow pools) and the large number of kids and adults watering in there.
I don't know who's jurisdiction this splash pad is but a very poor maintainance work is done.
I am not going to bring my granddaughter here until the remedy is made (unclogg the drains) and I am going to raise the awareness for everybody else!
I am also going to raise the awareness to the municiplal health responsible organization (which I wonder why it didn't notice this situation as yet)!

Clean, conveniently located and free parking! Great place to bring the kids, a partner or lay out a blanket and take in the sun. Celebrated my beautiful little cousin 4th birthday today at Matthew Park and all the kids were having a blast in the sprinkler play area for children. They also loved it when the local ice cream truck came by at the perfect time. The grounds are large enough that our group was able to enjoy the day with the other visitors happily and comfortably. We also came prepared with appropriate waste removal items for example garbage bags, gloves, and you can't go wrong with hand sanitizer. I was one of many who helped go over our area and collect any waste for the next visitors who may want to enjoy the park. Nice that even in this day and age it's still possible to enjoy a nice day at the park.
