Matty Eckler Community Recreation Centre

I didn't go in, it was a walk by. But it looks great, it's a fair size, and has an indoor pool. Sorry that's all I know

It is a recreation center. There is a pool in the basement. There is basketball court in the second floor. A ping pong table on the second floor.

I love this place. Staff is so friendly and amazing with kids. They like to have fun. It's very clean and the programs are great!

Went for the leisure swim here. The facility is clean and organized. The building is a bit older but the staff take care to keep it maintained. No parking lot for the centre unfortunately but there is street parking on the side streets not too far away.

The only thing I do here, really, is the drop-in volleyball on Saturdays, so that's all I can really talk about. Not a lot of people know about this rec center (and let's keep it that way haha.), so it's usually the same people that come out every week. It's a decent level of play (most weeks), and you get to play with people you know, which is great too.

Took daughter for swimming lessons, but wasn't allowed to the pool area as that was a girls-only class

Expo was thw reason why I was there and pleasantly surprised. Will go back. Staff were so accommodating and friendly.

So rude! I went in for election voting. The security offered no sign and bad attitude. Then I had to use the bathroom, no sign neither. As I roamed around, I saw a kitchen. Most community centres, publicly funded offer help. I intuitively went in to ask if I could borrow the microwave (which belongs to the public), the idling staff said yes. As I was waiting for my food to heat up, the security came to yell at me!

Is she ok! Fire them off! They abuses public using our own tax dollars’ facility!

Go away! Plz! Paula Fletcher needs to advocate this, for better future in Leslieville!

I changed to two stars as the regular staff asked me to fire a specific complaint about the security lady. Thank you! I hope she loses her job as her department sux!
