Maurice's valu-mart

I will no longer shop here, as there is a group of drunken losers loitering by the back door near the parking, harassing customers. I don't feel comfortable or safe with a group of vagrants constantly loitering on their property doing nothing but drinking alcohol in public, chain smoking and bothering the paying customers. They are there every day, and have been for months.

Went to pick up a few things for dinner. I found everything i needed & was served by a very friendly teller.

First time shopping there, not a lot of sales. I didnt buy a lot, wanted to see what they had. Thought it was kinda pricey. Not impressed. It was relatively clean, spacious aisles. Perhaps the next trip there will be better. Can't depend on just one visit.

Smaller store, convenient location if you’re downtown, decent prices. No washrooms available for customers.

The hot counter/deli.speaks for itself.
Love friendly staff when I shop.
Its welcoming and makes shopping more enjoyable.

Staff has always been friendly. Prices are like every other store you go for the deals or prepare to spend. Ideal for grabbing a few items.

Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The produce weren't great. Foodland is probably better option.

Staff is always very friendly but prices are a bit higher here and quality not always fresh especially their meats and vegetables many time walking past meats I could smell the chicken turning even with my mask on. But for midland residents who live near downtown area and dont drive we dont have much of a choice but to get our groceries here. Until recently when I found INSTACART a delivery partner of SUPERSTORE who's prices are always great and quality always amazing and the delivery fee is only $3.99!

By late afternoon most of the meat in your store had already started to turn brown, the owner should be ashamed!

I’ve been so impressed with the COVID safety measures at your store. An employee at the door sanitizing carts is a comfort. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Thanks to all for your efforts!

Great location whether vacationing or local. Placement is right where you would like. Prices are competitive with the added bonus of being downtown. I personally give it a solid 8 out of 10

I'm gonna boycott your store absolutely ridiculous to close at 6pm during the week, unlike yourselves some people start work at 6 am and don't finish till 6pm, couldnt even get something simple for dinner this evening.

A great place to do your shopping. Best customer service ever. Steve has been just super helpful during this pandemic.very helpful, polite, and goes that extra mile.

It's ok but I dislike that same products lime which is PC items and other are always more expensive than any other similar products elsewhere. Also not always staffed right.

This is just a store to gather a few last minute item.the isles are small and prices are sort of over priced. Store is In a convenient spot downtown.

Everyday I am here and get the maple coffee with 2 croissants great place and convenient location in the heart of Midland downtown. Excellent staff friendly and helpful

Always so nice of ladys there. Me and my daughter always enjoy seeing One special angel. She is the whole reason why we come in a lot of the time.

I don't know how this place stays open. Selection is lacking. Also looks like it hasn't been updated in 40 yrs.

Small and convenient, this shop is a place you want to live by. Albeit choice is restricted, it's overall very nice. And, there's barely any holdup.

Small grocery store downtown Midland. Very accessable for those in the downtown area. Doesn't always have what I'm looking for though.

Close to those who live downtown midland. Lots of parking in the back and close to scotia bank this location provides all your needs, some items have a large mark up in comparison to other grocery stores but there is always a deal to be found, lots of 50% or 30% items for those looking for todays meal on a budget, I enjoy going to this location, I would recommend reviewing your receipt as I have had 2 instances where item pricing is wrong or the correct discount not applied, but other then this no issue

Not happy at all, purchased potatoes, cheese, pepperoni, buns and some sauce to make homemade pizza, everything turned out amazing, till the next morning. After going to the hospital cause I was feeling extremely ill and barely able to move, when yesterday I was fine and felt like I could climb Everest, I find out I have samonella poisoning, very dissatisfied and now going through my options with my attorney on how to handle this situation, really hope nobody else has to go through the pain and discomfort that I am right now.

There's no "value" for your dollar here. There's also no vegetarian or vegan alternatives, which is very archaic in today's society. The staff, however, is very friendly. Its not their fault the prices and selection suck.

Nice place in a town to find inexpected items which might not be found in other big marts.very cheerful staff.
