Is it weird to feel excited to take your car in to a shop? Well, I do when I have to take my car to Maxwell Auto for a service! While your car is being looked after by highly professional mechanics, at Maxwell you can have lengthy conversations on random topics with Karen at the front desk or Sean, the owner. It's how they make you feel at home there, their friendliness and trustworthiness that makes Maxwell Auto stand out from other shops. I don't know of any other repair place where you feel you're not being taken advantage of.

Maxwell is the best mechanic shop! I have never experienced such great service before with other shops. The key is their honesty to their customers. We all know that we can spend thousands of dollars on fixing our cars from time to time. With Maxwell, questions like when to fix it, how to fix it and etc, Sean and Karen will give you the best recommendations. Because of that, you always have the preparation time so much in advance in allowing you to adjust your budget as well when you know the big bill is coming. I live in downtown Toronto and drive out to Maxwell when I need something for my car, because Sean and his people there are the very best. You can drop your car off here and rest easy knowing that whatever work you needed will be done well and properly.

Sneaky price gouging tactics are a common place here. Other mississauga mechanics can do the same job in much better prices.

I went in to get a quote to repair the AC on my vehicle. The cause I was told was a leak in the compressor. I was provided with two quotes. One for just replacing the compressor and one to replace the compressor and the receiver/dryer. After doing a little research I discover the warranty on the compressor will only be valid if the receiver/dryer and the orifice tube or expansion valve is replaced along with the whole system being flushed. So even if I choose the more expensive option (over $1500.00) I would still not have a proper job and the warranty on the compressor would be void. I would not recommned going here.

I don’t normally leave positive feedback, because I believe that the high quality service is normal clients’ expectations. This is what we should receive all the time and we don’t’ need to stress special attention. But his guy deserves special thanks.
The owner is a rare combination of honesty and professionalism. He knows what he does! At the same time he doesn’t push you to do unnecessary things just to make money on you. It’s very rear for any business today.
I definitely recommend this shop. Even if you find a cheaper price, who knows would the final price be cheaper with all extra unnecessary up-sale services?

All quality people working here. Work done while I waited in a very reasonable time and solved a major headache for me with my air conditioning that had caused me nightmares at Dodge dealers for years. Made my day for sure.

They are a very dishonest mechanic shop. I got repairs done here and it cost over 400$. I got the same repairs AND MORE done previously again at a new shop and it cost only 244$. Major rip off! They couldn't even provide a reicpt of the work they had done for me. I would suggest shopping around on repair prices before you get ripped off like I did.

Sean Devine's knows his stuff no disappointments here the shop is clean and well organised like Sean mind and he is super friendly and a damn good gear head check him out when you get a moment to do so.

Fantastic customer service. I walked into Maxwell after having a crazy situation with Chrysler CANADA. My 2014 Jeep blew an engine 20 days after my 5 year extended warranty expired. Being well under the km Chrysler wouldn’t help me out. Sean from Maxwell did the opposite. He did everything possible to help me with costing, quickness and service. My truck was in a Chrysler parking lot since August 15th. Maxwell took it over in Oct 15th and installed a factory Chrysler engine in less then 2 weeks. Thanks to Sean and his good group of techs, My truck runs and sounds amazing once again. A+. I couldn’t have asked for a better service.

Brought in my car for air conditioning as the reviews said they the AC specialists and yes they were. My dealer completely blew finding the problem but Maxwell auto's teamfound it immediately. The team explained everything and did great CLEAN work. I'm a nut about my car so the clean was important. Super friendly and I was provided a loaner which made the whole thing great. Will be coming back to Maxwell for any other services.
