Maya's South Indian & Sri Lankan Cuisine

Their freshly made food are very good but they dont turn on their warmers for premade food. If u go at the end of the day you're likely to get cold food.mutton rolls and kothuroti used to be delicious but now give us food poisoning everytime! I have stopped going there now. I think they are selling old food that is definitely not refrigerated properly.

The chili chicken kothu is good especially to find in Brampton, now I don’t need to drive to Markham to get good chili chicken kothu

We discovered this place just walking by this place looking at the prices were excellent like really good
3 vadas for $1.50 (no chutney)
Veggie noodles for 8.50
Everything was great prices and good taste
Vadas tasted awesome and so did the noodles
The noodles took about 15 minutes to cook so it was fresh
The owner was ok did not answer any questions maybe language barrier
Not a dine in but definitely a good and reasonably priced place for takeout

I was a regular customer at Maya. I enjoyed their foods. I was a big fan of Chicken fried rice. But today it was sooooo salty.
If you guys put more salt accidentally please let customer know.
This totally ruined our dinner today.

Made a order through phone and was told it’ll be ready in 15 min came after 25 min and still not ready. Waited another 20 min waste of my time!

I was a very loyal customer at Maya's. And all my family went there as it's was so good. This was untile about mind of 2023. The food was really good. My favorite was the egg roll that has the full end half and half on both ends of the roll and many more.

But in the resent past one of my family members has gone and bought some string hoppers and in box it has a black fungus growth. So he informed them when he when the next day and sad to say the staff in long the chef has laughed and they were saying things in Tamil language. They may have thought that we don't understand but we do understand everything.

Also I went again recently and bought the egg roll that I love always and it has only quarter end on both ends and the mutton roll had lot of potetos instead of 1 PC's of mutton. This was not the food we used to have. We never asked what the price was as long as they give good quality food.

Do agree there is a price increase but I know for sure who come their wanna make sure the food is good.

So unless Mayas pull things is together soon they will loose litbof customs in the long run. As of now they have lost 11 family's who used to buy food from Maya's.

So it's time.

It used to be good but last couple of times.specially if not weekend quality of fish bun is not good

we ordered lamprais on Friday, it did not have small fried fish which we normally get if ordered on weekends.we were not told that they don't have it and charged full price

we also noticed, if you order later around 1.30 or after, they will not say they don't have all the curries for lamprais but will pack whatever left over.

Lady inside seems like she hates her life. Food is stone cold. Maybe also put a spoon inside for a takeout order?

They were open but they have locked the inner door girl inside saw us but she totally ignored and went back. Didn’t get the point if you guys are close at 2: 40 pm then why the sign say’s open. I wish i could give you guys zero star.

Tried the chili chicken kothu roti, chicken briyani, and veg fried rice. Veg fried rice had some many crispy curry leaves, loads of veggies and good spice.

I have been going to Maya's for the passed couple of years, yesterday I went and orderd $40 worth of appetizers. The mutton rolls and chicken patties had meat that was days old, it was spoiled and there was an awful smell, after eating a few we all quickly realized we all were not feeling good becaue the meat was spoiled. I was very dissapointed as it is so irresponsible for a restaurant to do this, if the rolls and patties are a few days old DO NOT sell them.you would think it's common sense but not after what I expereinced yesterday. Judging by the other comments I'm not the only one that has experienced this. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do better, please.

Their Food always tasty fresh and nice. Staff too very helpful. All together Great and recommend to anyone who is like to have Sri Lankan and South Indian food.

Love this place, because it stays true to it's spiciness that Tamil cuisine is famous for. If your in Brampton and want to try Tamil food go here. Their appetizers are delicious and fair priced. And the kottu roti delicious.

They used to be good - now they seem like they don’t care about quality of their food. Bought mutton rolls and the rolls was cold inside and filled with potatoes and very little mutton.

They've got the best Kothu rotti I've had in canada. The curries and other items are reasonably priced and tastes very good

Would not recommend. The past two times I have picked up food (biryani and rolls), I go home and the food is spoiled and inedible. I think they give you old food and it's a waste of money.

Such a waste of money, the food was sooo cold, and by the time I got home (10min drive) the food tasted like it’s old/ expired. The taste was awful. In total, it was waste of time, money, and gas.

Worst dosa ya worst food packing. Also they don’t know how to pack food and in what box. Never come to this restaurant.

Found a long hair in my roti after taking a bite. Safe to say i didn't finish it. Nasty. Wear hair nets or something.

Food quality and prices are ok. Service behind the counter needs work. There's usually 2 ladies but both of them take 1 customer's order at a time instead of one person helping one customer and the other helping the next one. Counter service needs to be more efficient.
