Amazing time at Mayrik - service was phenomenal, food was exceptional. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Really enjoy the food here. I’ve been for lunch and dinner and both meals were fantastic. Can get loud inside for dinner though.

Came here for my wife's cousin's 40th birthday last week. The food is INCREDIBLE. So delicious. Highly recommend their babaganoush and humus dips. Meaty and juicey Kabebeh, perfectly friend falafel and the philo cheese pastry was gooey and wonderful. The mains were lovely, delicious chicken. The kofta was tender. More red than i expected it to be but you could always ask for it be cooked more well if thats your preference
It has a cool, not overdone vibe and the service is eager to please.

Went on a Saturday. The staff was super nice and kind enough to prepare brunch dishes for us, despite them only doing brunch on Sundays.
Our server recommended we get things to share. We got the hummus, Shakshuka and khachapuri. The pita with the hummus was a little small in portion, so we had to order some more. The hummus was very smooth and has a great texture. The khachapuri and Shakshuka were also both very tasty. It’s not easy to find khachapuri in the city, but this place has a great version of it.
After our meal, we were super stuffed and despite wanting to try some Armenian dessert, we had no space to do so.
Overall, I recommend this place for their exceptional service and great food.

Food was overpriced, very small portions and no flavour. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Very expensive and the value isn’t there. It used to be much better. Unfortunate that it no longer is.

The owner Aram is unprofessional and careless about his staff and customers. Every online order is delayed, he doesn’t pay his staff on time cuts their tips and even refuses to pay them. At times he yells swears at his employees. So don’t waste a single second here

Absolutely excellent service, especially from one of the waiters named Farid, extremely personable with a one of a kind world class service.

Amazing food! The potato was to die for. We ordered a lot of food and everyone was stuffed but we had to order the potatoes and rice again.

The manager was super accommodating to our needs. It had a very homey intimate atmosphere. Definitely bringing friends here again.

The restaurant is good for a casual outing with family and friends. The staff is friendly, good food and pleasant atmosphere. We dined-in several times and also catered a party. Everyone enjoyed and complimented the food, the portions were generous and very tasty and appetizing.

Many items on the menu are comfort foods for me and they were super delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Went here recently with a fairly large group for a friend's birthday. The staff were so accommodating and helpful and helped us choose items that were delicious and suited the whole group. The food was so delicious, great ambience, I would absolutely recommend this place!

Aram catered our daughter’s wedding last Sunday…He customized the menu, suggested quantities, personally delivered the food and plated the dips and salads. The food was fabulous and appreciated by Middle East novices and aficionados alike!

Food is phenomenal, everything tastes incredible and is full of flavour. Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

2 hours and 45 minute dinner for two. It took over 45 minutes to get drinks alone and then everything continued to be extremely slow after that. Kind staff and owners, but just way too slow with no reasoning or apology. The food was good, but can’t compensate for poor service. Maybe it was because we ordered off the summerlicious menu, but needless to say we will not be back.

We came here to try the summerlicious menu but so many things on their regular menu looked good too so we decided to pick our own dishes. The service was really good and super attentive. We got their dips, tabule, manti dumplings, akawi cheese, batata harra, adana kabab and lamb chops. And kunafa for dessert. The manti dumplings, and akawi were a stand out. The only thing we didn’t enjoy is the kunafa only because we make the best at home. Their patio and vibe is really nice and we’d def come again.

Nice cozy restaurant that offers Albanian food. We enjoyed most dishes and the server continuously topped up our water. The babaghanoush and cauliflower were delicious! I liked their ribeye and fish. The beef tartar was underwhelming and lamb chops were ok.
Maybe I'll come back to try other dishes when I'm in the area.

We had Summerlicious & celebrated our friends Birthday with 5 friends tonight at Mayrik. The food was so colorful, fragrant and delicious. I really enjoyed the ambience and the unique food & warm decorative walls with authentic middle eastern design. Loving this restaurant.

The fatoush and the falafel were very flavourful, very satisfying. Just on the brink of too much seasoning which is really unnecessary. Also, I was really looking to get radish and pomegranate seeds, as became customary in fatoush at other restaurants - or else the dish feels simplistic and overpriced. The Armenian beer is very good, malty - would drink another if not costing $10.

Summer menu is not well executed, overpriced for value portions serve lots of carbs and quality items are tiny. Bathrooms are dirty, locks broken, smells like sewage. Restaurant back area is dirty and unkept.

Let me tell you, if you didn’t visit this restaurant you missed one of the best restaurant in Toronto.exceptional food,

Great Armenian restaurant! Food was absolutely delicious and owner was very welcoming and had great suggestions. Will be coming back again

We dined at Mayrik’s for a friend’s birthday dinner & explored their summerlicious menu. By the time our food came, the restaurant was empty. The service was extremely slow, and the server completely forgot about all of our requests. It took her a few reminders to provide water, hot sauce and cutlery. Our entire experience was about 3 hours long. During our dinner, we noticed a fly in our appetizer and the chicken in our main dishes were RAW. The owner stated that he could knock of 15% for the dish because “it’s the least he could do”. After waiting 30 minutes for a new plate, the side order was incorrect. Over all, I am disappointed in the service that was provided. I hope employees can take this feedback and ensure these mistakes do not happen again!

Located in midtown toronto, it’s a really great armenian/middle eastern restaurant. The food was fantastic. We got a whole bunch of plates to share. I recommend eating on the patio. The owner went out of his way to find us a seat on the patio while it was full. Great service, we got some solid recommendations and had a great chat with the owner at the end.

I took way to long to post this review, but could not have asked for a better experience at Mayrik back in February. My two friends and I (along with our babies) were in from London and stumbled upon the restaurant after my friend's opera audition. What we didn't know was that we would leave the restaurant with fond memories of the delicious food and experience for months to come! The food and drinks were everything we needed after a long day of travel and we were touched to find out that the restaurant's namesake is "Mamma". A special thank you to the staff for graciously helping us with the tricky task of brining young babies to a restaurant! We appreciate you so much and I have recommend you to all of my clients.
