She mismanaged my divorce case in the worst possible manner which costed me hundred thousands of dollars. She gave me wrong advice on how to proceed with my case and billed me in excess of $100K for pointless appointments which led to nothing. In one occasion she filled for a motion without any grounds which she lost and costed me $8K in legal fees. Her conduct is also very unprofessional, aggressive and condescending towards me. There is no wonder that she was suspended by LSO for 6 months for professional misconduct. I wish I had trusted the negative reviews before hiring her since based on my experience in dealing with her they are the genuine reviews.

As mentioned in other comments Elena Mazinani has no ethical integrity which led into her 6 month suspension and fine by LSO. Her legal advice to the clients are not based on protecting their interests. She encourages legal advice that prolongs the case in order for her to sack the client as much as she can. Read her disciplinary history on LSO before considering her.

The conduct of this lawyer lacks ethical integrity. He encourages unrealistic financial demands from his clients, needlessly prolonging family lawsuits to benefit financially from the extended consultation process. If you seek a fair resolution without risking financial strain, it's advisable to avoid engaging his services. Her approach appears to prioritize profit over fair legal representation, depicting him more as a shrewd entrepreneur than an equitable lawyer.

Elena (Elnaz) Mazinani has no regards for her clients. All she cares about is your money. She will do anything immoral and unethical just to earn an external buck out of you. There has been multiple complaints against her to the Law Society which led into 6 months of her license suspension. Search her disciplinary history in the Law Society Ontario.

After going through two lawyers and spending over one year in family court I hired Elena and Ash and was able to see my kids!

I was in a difficult situation and could not find a solution. If it was not for Elena and Ash, I would have lost everything. They helped me unconditionally and were able to get results in court for a single mother of two young children who had nowhere else to go!

I couldn’t work with her more than two months and my review is about her manners and attitude. She did not let me to ask my questions and as I did, she shouted at me that my questions are distracting her colleague then asked me” If you don’t have better solutions, don’t ask this question “. She has poor communication skills even in her emails, cancelling the appointment with no heads up and finally DID NOT LET HER CLIENTS KNOW OF HER SUSPENSION SITUATION.when behaves in front of her clerks or vice versa, her behaviour is rude. She seems she is trying to show her assertions by being rude. I am not sure about her practice as I did not find time due to her suspension but I don’t recommend her because of her behaviours.

Ms. Mazinani accepted to be my lawyer when she only had less than 24 hrs to be ready to stand before the judge. She and her team worked on my case every minute of time they had until the next morning when the meeting started. She won that case and it was just the beginning.
