Not sure why this place is advertised as a walk-in because they do not accept new patients. If you’ve never been here before they will turn you away. Also it opens at 9 and not 8: 30 but walk-in opens at 1pm.
Dr. Quirouet performed a cystoscopy on me today. I was extremely nervous for the last couple of weeks. All for nothing. The procedure was thorough, short and painless. The nurse who assisted was so comforting. If you are scheduled at Montfort with Dr. Quirouet, you are in good hands, she is highly skilled. I hope this eases the anxiety that some may feel. I know I drove myself nuts. Take care everyone!
Dr. Chan decided to stop treating my family member about a decade ago. It was done by a short telephone call advising them that Dr. Chan could no longer be their family doctor. No reason, just dumped out in the street with no doctor. I see he is still practicing and we always had a suspicion he just bumped my family member out to make room for another patient on their waitlist. This is completely inappropriate and suggested filing a complaint so an investigation can be done. Completely disrespectful and unethical.
One of the worst experiences i have had in my life, if i had the money to sue, i would.they make it so hard to see a doctor and after jumping hoops to get an appointment, the doctor refuses to see me saying that they no longer take new patients, mind you i had gone through all the screening and i had been there previously but because their system couldn't see the information, it all became my fault. I wasted a whole day and they couldn't bother to give me the call to inform me but waited until i was seating for 45min waiting to see a doctor.
You cannot reach them via phone, even if you are 1st in que. I attempted to book an appointment in person and the receptionist had an awful attitude, told me to use the Bleen.ca booking service the following day at 7: 30am to book an appointment. I enter the site promptly at 7: 30am to book and there are no appointments on any given day I attempt this. This is absurd, I can't even see my family doctor
I've been going there for many years. I love there professional work! Love there service and my family doctor is very attentive and helpful. Have a nice day!
Dr. Chan is amazing! Has been my Dr for years! Never had an issue with his care. The reception is great until ONE certain person is working.then the calls are backed up and the rudeness is overwhelming.
I was in severe pain went to three other clinics who told me I would be seen and then when I got there they said it was full. I explained my situation to the staff and they booked me in and guarantee me I would be seen. The staff is absolutely amazing and understanding they really care about you. The doctor was fantastic as well. I definitely recommend this place and I'm surprised it says four stars it's definitely fine.
Terrible service. Advertised as a walk in clinic but they don’t take walk ins. They give you a card to call to book an appointment the next day at 7: 30am. I tried to book at 7: 30 on the dot and the appointments were all booked up. Absolutely no way to talk to a person. Must speak to machine. Clinics are usually unreliable, but this is ridiculous
For me Dr Chan is the best doctor I have seen so far since I am in Canada. He really knows what he is doing and his prescription always work good. I have put 4 stars because it’s very hard to get an appointment and when you have one it’s not respected in general I wait at least 1hour to 90min for my turn even if my appointment is scheduled. Other than that I recommend highly Dr Chan
My GP is wonderful, however reception is incredibly difficult to navigate. Frequently reception closes before the closing hours listed making it difficult to schedule appointments, and hold times are often lengthy even when the hold service indicates there are no callers queued. The automated online scheduling system does not search for appointments outside of a 24 hour window, even when attempting to book for an appointment with a family physician for a non-emergency. It does not provide the user with the next available appointment. The automated scheduling system that can be used via phone has voice recognition software that is clearly out of date as it does not recognize patient names and does not provide any alternative should voice recognition fail.
This review is for the urologist at this location, Dr. Adrienne Quirouet. She is so kind and friendly. Being a woman, it's such a relief to find another woman urologist and I feel much more comfortable with her being my urologist. I've seen her a handful of times and each time she is compassionate, knowledgeable and understanding and really takes the time to listen to any questions and concerns I may have, really putting my mind at ease and I never feel rushed. The staff at this office seem to be friendly and fine, I have no negative comments. I can't speak for the other doctors but Dr. Quirouet is outstanding if you're searching for a urologist.
If you want horrible client service, this is the place to go. It is nearly impossible to get through to someone over the phone, and your emails go unanswered. I often have to send numerous emails to follow up on something as simple as test results or an appointment. I've been made to wait over a week for someone to respond to me with an appointment date, and even when I do get a response, it is often not very helpful.
The reception / front desk staff needs more training on basic client service. Melanie used to run reception, and she was wonderful. Since she's left, everything's gone downhill. To ignore patients? Unbelievable.
It's unfortunate that the reception staff makes the entire clinic look less than competent.
