They say: “You have to be downstairs 5 minutes ahead. ” If you’re not, the bus leaves without your child. And it doesn’t matter if you have a pick up time and SOMETIMES your child is not late, but not 5 minutes earlier. Especially now, when it’s cold outside in the morning.
Call them and you’ll get the answer “If you don’t need transportation - call your principal and refuse. ”
Who’s kids are on McCluskey everyday, they know what I mean.

WORST place ever to work for at 163 Carlingview Etobicoke.
They DO NOT pay the $ 2,000 that the driver is entitled to as per their advertisement.

Also drivers’ reviews went DOWN from 2.1 to 2.0 and down to 1.9 while the average reviews is 3.5.

Like many others, I would give a negative if I could. Fourth time in 2 weeks my kids didn't get picked up. Then when I called McCluskey to find out what was going on, they out and out lied and started arguing with me. The unprofessionalism is ridiculous! These people are getting paid whether they do a good job or not, I will be escalating this because seriously, blaming the parents for having their kids ready on time? The lying about what time their driver "SUPPOSEDLY" showed up when I was outside WITH my 4 year olds? Give me a break! I called to speak to a supervisor and the dispatcher refused. Guess she thinks she's GOD.

If i could give this company negative stars I would. My son's driver forgets him at school, I try to call the office and their receptionist things she is a manager and can decide what is important or not and wheathere or not to transfer a call to an actually manager. Then there manager trys to tell me that it's the school's fault for not bringing him out. The Driver didn't contact the company. I CONTACTED THE DRIVER WHO SAID THAT SHE FORGOT TO PICK HIM UP.he is the only kid from that school on this route, then instead of sending a taxi to pick me up to go pick up my son, which is normal procedure in an emergency. They just say we are going to send another bus, but we don't know when he will get there. My son is 7 years old and Autistic. This will cause him trauma and he is now forced to deviate from a routine, which the geniuses at this company don't seem to understand.

Honestly you guys need new management.

If I will give 0 I will. They will not contact you if there is changes to your pick up/drop off. Rude, unprofessional bus company.
This company should not be trusted especially for your special needs kids.

If i were you find another mode of transportation for your kids if this is the company!

An example of how not to run a business. Disorganized, inefficient, disrespectful, unreliable and unaccountable. Self-driving vehicles cannot come soon enough so that companies like this one will be wiped from existence.

The staff are rude and unreliable. My son's bus got switched companies this year and UNFORTUNATELY they went with McCluskey and nothing but problems!

My son has special needs so has a micro bus that comes to pick him up. The first week of school, we had one AMAZING driver who communicated, was professional and PUNCTUAL. They took her off his route after one week and gave us someone who does NOT communicate and is NOT punctual. Made us wait a half an hour this morning for a bus. When we gave up, and went back up to our apartment, I get a call from my son's TEACHER (NOT the bus company or driver) that someone was downstairs. We rushed down and the driver had already left! When I called into McCluskey to complain, they told me the driver was already there (45 mins LATE, mind you!) and that we should have WAITED because weather and construction blah blah blah. They were not willing to do anything to get my son to school and asked me if I had a way to get him to school on my own. I told them if I did, I wouldnt need to use the bus! To which I got hung up on!

They need to hire more professional people!

First day of school today and, even with multiple confirmations including on the bus portal, the bus never showed up for an entire bus load of kids with support needs. It was then impossible for parents or even the school to reach anyone at McCluskey to figure out what was going on. Hiccups happen, but you need to be able to communication them to parents.

This is by far the WORST service and PEOPLE ever.they accused my son wrongly and when I asked to speak to the supervisor, he was YELLING at me so AGGRESSIVELY and also stated "WHY DO KIDS SMOKE DOPE AND STEAL", what does that have to do with my complaint.run very far away from this bus company, they are horrible

Emailed a driving complaint to these guys about one of their drivers driving aggressively on the NB 427 around mid April complete with pictures and a video, no response at all.

For anyone planning to work here as a school bus driver, BE WARNED that they force you to sign a one year contract with them, which they do not mention until you’re done with 2 weeks of online training. Upon questioning why this was not mentioned at the start, the trainer (William) replied with “it’s company policy”. Unless you’re ok with this, work at another school bus company. I’m now working with another school bus company, and I’m so glad I walked out of their office when they tried to pull this stunt on me.

Credit where it’s due, John Faso does an excellent job with the online training.

Note to all parents don't waste your time trying to resolve anything with the people in the office. Just contact ombudsman.

Literally the worst transportation company to ever exist. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They have no knowledge on how to run their business. I am surprised TDSB still contracts them the way you see their buses having races down the street. Extremely unsafe, they need to be shut down and never allowed to operate again. A disgrace that we have this people dealing with our vulnerable family members. I wish there was negative -1000 stars to accurately rate this horrendous company!

The worst bus service I’ve ever experienced. The Drivers are damn near ALWAYS late! I requested they contact me when they knew where the driver was because it’s cold out and I refuse to make my kids suffer they advised me that they would notify me 10 mins prior to the driver arriving. I call them back 45 mins later just for them to tell me they forgot to call me and that the bus arrived only 10 mins before I called, he was late a total of 1 hour! As I’m typing this my children are 35 mins late from being dropped off… they need to get it together! Terrible service!

Lot of issue on this company specially the drivers. My son's driver in the morning he is like 5 - 10 minutes early and he keep calling us parents.whnever he is late he never called us.we tried calling him but he is not answering. Always been like that.very stressfull company specially the drivers.

The lady in bus 8160 was driving the school bus like she is in bmw, called to report the company but no response.
