Very very good! The owner is very friendly, I went in 20 minutes before closing time to ask for help and he was still happy to help. And he also helped me save half the money on buying car locks, which deserves this five-star rating! My classmate also wants to buy a car. I will recommend him to the shop owner. It is really good!

I have never found a bike that I could comfortably ride and had pretty much given up the idea that I could ride a bike as a result. I met the owner of this McCooey's when he came in to grab a sandwich at Bushel & Peck in St Catharines. He mentioned bikes and was very informative about potential issues to solve my bike riding dilemma. He suggested I come down and try out a few options and see if we could find something that would work. I figured what could I lose and my husband and I went down a few weeks ago. He set us up with a couple bikes and told us to take our time and give them a try. What a difference. My Townie bike is amazing. I have not ridden a bike for more than 2 minutes in my entire adult life without severe discomfort and outright pain. The pedals are moved forward and the handles are higher so you sit more comfortably. I love it. I've been out every day since and enjoy every minute of the ride. So glad I met Brian that day, enjoyed the whole process and really appreciate the time he spent with me
09/23 I thought I would add a further review. I have continued to visit Brian and his bike shop (getting a tune up and having my bike gears maintained) and have found he is consistently been not only extremely kind and considerate in his business dealings but a very community oriented person. Could not recommend his place any higher. Well worth the drive from anywhere in the Niagara region.

Great customer service. Owner was friendly and very helpful. To me a good service department is essential for a bike shop.

Stumbled upon this great shop while out for a walk with my son, the owner was so welcoming and personable. He filled the tires on my sons stroller and refused to let us pay. We’ll definitely be customers for life and can’t wait to get my son his first bike from there when he’s old enough.
