The space was very small and crowded and it was hard to even wait for the food to be delivered

Most disgusting place ever. Never had so many flys in my food and drink it is completely disgusting.

I am OK with the new layout, there is much less dining space than before, but it is a very small space to work with and they have optimized it for takeout order with seems reasonable to me near Yonge and Eg - you can always take your order to the food court at the mall in the North West corner of Yonge and Eg.

Yesterday I bought a drink from McDonald's and there was a bug in it. I recorded it on video. I insist that you do not consume McDonald's products.

McDonalds snacks are tasty, but this venue is cramped at the front. Prepping my order took a really long time when there were only two orders waiting. Disorganized—they forgot to bring my order out. I do not see food prep people wearing gloves, so I don't feel comfortable ordering here again.

This place used to be nice with a decent amount of dining space. After the renovation, there is no space to sit.take ur food n get lost! Oh and their service has always been very slow, before n after the renovation. I guess McDonalds should have upgraded staff skills too along with the renovated look of the place. Dont take my word for it, read some of the other comments. No wonder this place is rated a 3.2.

Very Small, the must of downsized it since Covid break, There is no room to sit and eat but you can order your food and go.

Very small location that is often crowded. Service and speed can be hit or miss, depending on time of day. Highly recommend placing a mobile order ahead of time to pick up.

Absolutely terrible service. I waited 17 minutes for a McDougle and a drink because the care about expediting their drink orders over their food orders

I've only been in for drinks. They are usually busy. The bathroom was gross, idk if that's the case all the time but I'm mentioning that because I know a lot of ppl like being forwarned about those things ‍️

Editing my review since they've since stepped up their game. Customer service is lovely, greeter and server were friendly and went the extra mile. Food was whatever, fries weren't fresh but it's McDonalds. Impressed by the cleanliness, what a contrast since I last visited. Yet to be seen if this is sustainable or if they will slip back into disgusting disorder within a few days.

I used to frequent this place.
Tried to charge me for mayo condiment- lost me as a customer.

Also there was hair in my burger. Seriously need to up their cleanliness protocols

Prices are up, poor quality, the food shrunk in size, charges on items which used to be free. The rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer.

I had Mc Chicken griddle.it tasted good. The store is at prime location. It is a 24 hr store. The staff was very friendly and service was super quick.

Very small place, not enough seating for dine in or even to stand and wait for take out orders. Staff works pretty fast though, just feel like congested place.

This MacDonald is not clean. I was a sorry I went in this McDonald's. I had to have my coffee in a room filled with litter. I did ask the manager to clean it up. The service is poor here.

There's a young lady working here that's very loud. She was on the top of her lungs the whole time i was there. Gotta understand that some customers wants to eat in peace

I had to first big Mac in years and I was surprised how good it was. They've added a lot more sauce at where something and I really enjoyed it.

Hands down, the worst McDonald’s ever!

After ordering twice from here (because the first order never materialized, and we were then credited for it) we waited over 2 hours to get our order delivered. My expectations of McDonalds are very low, but we were busy working away and wanted something fast and cheap. Turns out we could have walked to the place 2 or 3 times and ate multiple meals in the time it took to get our delivery.

I don’t know what it is about the lack of competence and complacency that people just find acceptable but it’s truly disgusting. Wake up people! This isn’t ok!

I just ordered a hot chocolate and I tasted it and it was like a cup of heated milk. Got home and realized it hadn't been stirred. Am I expected to have a spoon on hand? The other ridiculous thing I got on a different day was a junior chicken with no chicken in it.

Food ok, but the experience of eating inside the restaurant is decreasing.

Way too small in here. Staff look crowded and packed in tight in kitchen. Who ever designed this layout was insane. Needs to remodel ASAP

I waited for 10 mins just for a hot chocolate and the manager served me a bad one. THE MANAGER!

Definitely the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The worst management and the employees are terrible. My second time ordering through uber eats and there are always multiple items missing and sometimes, the wrong items. They need a change in management and employees.

Cramped space and with front dining in doesn't allow for much distancing, left me wondering why dining was not at the back and thus the flow of take out orders wouldn't be standing on top of each other and or other dine in customers. Bad layout but friendly staff.

So this franchise is holding delivery drivers hostage by insisting that we mark orders as received before we are given them. This is fraud, oppressive and abusive. We also cannot comment as we have to show the staff our app that we have received the order. This gives us no privacy to comment on the truth. Here is my point if the management feel that they can have a dictatorship type dealing with drivers my question is How are they treating the employees. This management is so bold that they put this in writing. I refuse to say I received something until it is in my hands otw it would be fraud.

This place is always understaffed and a lot of the staff are really bad. It’s very likely your order will be wrong

Worst Macdonald's location. The employees work harder than any other location but it's too small for the population. Distancing is impossible and food takes forever but this is only because of the never ending orders.

Quality is a hit or miss.
Long delays with Uber eats orders. They say it's busy, but I ordered at 3: 30 am.driver was there for 15 minutes.and the order canceled at 4: 10 after dinner hours passed.

The local McDonald's at Yonge and Eglinton did not have ice cream available on a 26 degree Celsius day at 8PM because the ice cream machine was 'down'. This is not the first time the ice cream machine was broken, not just at this McDonald's but at many McDonald's that I have visited in recent memory. Considering that Toronto is about to experience a mini-heat wave in the middle of May, it would be nice if there was a sign at the door saying "Ice Cream Machine Down", this way customers don't have to wait in line to be told that the ice cream machine is down after the fact.

Customer service is really TERRIBLE
Who worked at May/ 20 5: 40pm a black chubby front staff gave me a look of disgust when I asked for a beverage tray, even though he was in service work.

Please train the staff properly.

CUSTOMERS! Be careful if you are going to order food directly, It's because you could see the staff's unfriendly attitude.

Just use uber eats or something.
Then you gonna get nice burger without any terrible look.

I have to admit that I have been eating McDonalds for quite a long time. One of my favourite McDonalds take away is the Big, the Glorious, the Golden Crown among all other burgers is the Big Mac. I could eat 3 Big Mac's in one sitting. Hmmmmmm, just thinking about it, wants me to go pick it right now. Thanks to Uber eats, we now have the luxury of ordering McDonalds where ever we are, picking it up at any time. There's also a McDonald's app that can help with the ordering as well. The most convenient option available at every McDonalds is those ordering computers available to use. That is probably the best move made by McDonalds. Apart from the Big Mac, some of my other favourite options to choose from is the Cheeseburger, the McDouble, the Hamburger and the Chicken Snack Wraps. McDonalds will also be near and dear to my heart and I will forever try their new favorites that come out on a month to month basis.

I just went to order from here ordered 2 junior chicken and strawberry triple thick shake (repeated this almost 5 times to the guy who was taking order) but still punched some other drink. I told them the total but again instead or charging completely they charged again and they were not polite at all

This location is one of the worst
Big time wait and no parking, everyone is trying to make a leaving by working. I got a 100 dolar ticket because of it my hole day of work went to that ticket.

Always fresh, hot and delicious.
I've been visiting and since the beginning of the pandemic ordering food from this tiny fast food restauran located at the corner of Yonge and Eglinton for many years now.
I can honestly say that aside for a couple of substandard experiences I have always been served with a smile by friendly staff, and my orders have always been expedited fast, fresh, hot and accurately.
I have also noticed that during these pandemic times the quality and freshness have been maintained and in most cases surpassed compared to years back.
If you haven't ordered or visited this restaurant I'd urge to give it a shot as I'm certain you will not be disappointed.

One of the worst locations you can ever go, bad customer service, usually you get wrong items in your order, then when confront staff or management they are rude about it and very unapologetic, and no point calling McD since they don't care at all.would have given negative stars if was possible.thanks

This place was super crowded, no crowd control. I wasted 14 minutes for 2 double hamburgers (only ketchup, no opinion, no pickle and no mustard) after a lengthy wait, undecided to check my burgers! Covered in onions, like a mcstake.
I asked for 2 replacements, and left. Upon opening my lunch at home, those less than useful mcworkers have me 2 single burgers, again with onions. Useless. Avoid this location. Avoid MCD! Of course, they don't answer the phone!

I ordered the wetern bbq double quarter pounder cheese a few minutes ago but I got one patty wetern bbq QP burger. Originally double quarter pounder has one patty? Changed? I just called to Mc donald’s but they didn’t pick up my phon call. I don’t feel like to go out for asking about this. I’m just going to take it but please double check before go out the food.

This place is hit or miss. Staff is impolite, don't provide ketchup unless asked for. Also place is really small literally no place to stand

For being fast food - they completely fail at that so be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait long after you arrive. I do feel horrible for this location though because their owner clearly doesn’t care about their employees. Understaffed and very overworked with this busy location. Aren’t all McDonalds really this way though.total Corporate Greed.

Above all, the staff push through and try. I just wish the owner would care as much.

Check your orders, they get them wrong. With money these days, stores need to appreciate the customer spend more.

The worst wait times.even for a black coffee I wait 10 mins! They get soooo many uber orders here it really slows things down. I avoid this location at peal hours

Very small McDonald’s near Yonge/Eglington. As you can imagine with construction it is a terrible location for drivers. However that aside they’re always very slow and service is your typical McDonald’s.

Why do I keep coming back here? Ordered bacon McMuffin with on and two hash browns. Only received the McMuffin and a straw for the OJ that didn't come.
Waited 75 minutes for an Uber Eats order.
Food ordered inside restaurant, food given to someone else.
Ordered and paid with an employee; she never put the order in.
You get 1 star because I can't give less.

Service and the staff was great, no complaints. Unfortunately me and my wife got an upset stomach after having their chicken burgers late last night and i had to call in sick to work today.

One star is a lot for this McDonald’s location. I give an L for the employee T and his supervisor Shayenne. Both are arrogant and disrespectful and think they own the place. One uber driver spoke back to them and I would like to thank him for that!:)

Horrible. Waited from 7: 55 to 8: 20 for 4 items. Seems like I wasn’t the only one, as this store doesn’t care about the take out orders. In the meantime there were 8 unclaimed bags for Uber, with no drivers in sight. It seems that delivery and drive thru are unfairly prioritized in this store.

Have not been to mcdonalds since the start of the pandemic, went today and ordered breakfast (received the bag and left, when I opened the bag EVERY ITEM WAS WRONG, even though the tag on the bag had the correct items listed (they even had the wrong packaging for the product), check your meal before you leave the store.
I am giving it a 2 star (instead of one) only because the store was properly setup for social distancing and staff were constantly wiping down counters.

I didn’t like this place in the past because it seemed disorganized, but I would keep popping up from time to time. Last weekend, I’ve had it! There were lots of customers lining up outside due to covid, and also some delivery services. Even though people kept going out, nobody came to the door to give us instructions-just to lock it. When they finally did, we were told they would prioritize deliveries because they were large orders (!), and that we should download the app. I had a coupon and didn’t want to download the app! I felt devalued and disrespected as a regular customer. NEVER AGAIN!

Terrible 'Terminal to Pickup' Service. Pickup area is often dirty, overcrowded, and the staff is not helpful at all. I've twice had to abandon waiting for food after it eclipsed the 15 min mark.

This restaurant is way too small for the area that it is in. It's always crowded. Service is really slow. Multiple times I have ordered a coffee/latte and though they make my drink quickly it sits by the machine for about 15 minutes getting cold before someone calls it out. I once ordered just a pop and it took 15 minutes and me asking to get the cup handed to me to fill.

The problem seems to be that staff are so focused on fulfilling the Uber orders that the walk in customers are left waiting. Often the staff clear the order boards before orders are finished and called out which causes them to forget about orders or get them wrong.

Make sure to check your order! Because they will mess up you order from time to time just to see if you are checking them!

I ordered three poutines recently with extra gravy, and all three barely had any gravy.

One of the most unorganized ones in town. Without exaggeration they miss my orders over 80% of the time. This is absolutely ridiculous.

It depends on who is working. They must have been short staffed yesterday morning, cause they overcooked the hashbrowns to a crisp.

Sort of indifferent about it, ideal for grab&go dining, brilliant location, cramped: space, ingress&egress.

This is by and far the worst McDonald's in the city. I mean worse than the Queen and Spadina location. Worse than Queen and Sherbourne. The crowded mixed lineup as well as slow staff make it impossible to get orders out in time and in sequence. The staff constantly have to rush through order numbers so don't be alarmed if your number disappears from the screen - it's already gone. Go to Burger's Priest. TL: DR Good location, bad building layout. This ain't it, Ron.

I bought jr.chicken from here and it didn't taste as good as other places. The quality was off.

The worst Mcdonalds and Staff I've seen. I come here because I live near here, and each time I go I try to be patient and respectful to the busy staff. I'm completely ignored while standing very close to the ordering counter anywhere from 10-30 minutes each time I go. Sometimes the staff will be done all the orders and start talking about their weekends before looking to me and asking me what I'm waiting for.at the counter. I'm waiting to order. I've never had a good experience here, not even once.

Good and fast service. Only issue is that it gets really cramped and crowded during lunch hours since the store is so small.

Harpreet can’t take orders correctly, I asked for a Seriously Chicken sandwich and the dummy gave me a McChicken instead. I used a coupon and when I returned to work I notice she screwed up. No time to go back and change.

This place is too busy for the number of staff and the size of their kitchen. Employees are always scrambling like mad but the wait times are always long. It's just too small to accommodate the area.

Says it's open 24 hours but I was turned away today at 430am told they're closed until 5am meanwhile the seating area was full of people and I was able to walk right in.

The staff were not very clear in explaining what was and wasn't available when I made my order. It was kind of annoying and confusing as I didn't know what was going on. I'm not sure if they were trained to know when things are and are not available. Otherwise the food was good. I come here for the breakfast sandwiches and the coffee which are always nice.

Really trash McDonalds. Dont expect much when I order mcdonalds because it's cheap fast food. But I do expect it fast and for it to be accurate.

There is always missing items, the service is slow af, and half the staff seem clueless as to what they're doing.

If you order ubereats from here, good luck, I haven't gotten one accurate order out of the 5 I've ordered.

It's quite a small place in the heart of downtown and with all the renovations going on in Toronto, I didn't have a great experience but I enjoyed the Thai Chicken Burger

Yikes. They never refill the paper in the kiosks so you never receive a receipt and just have to remember your number. The actual restaurant is small and very poorly planned in the layout- no space to wait for orders. The staff seemed pleasant enough.

Cold hash browns, egg mcmuffin sandwich without expected ham and coffee without the usual double-double sweetness (suggestive of an empty or near-empty sugar dispenser) earns this establishment my first one-star challenge review. C'mon McDonalds! Treating one's bedmate to breakfast should be as sweet and warm as the night before. No one likes (or deserves) a chilly exit strategy. I'll be back (the pursuit of my affection is a neighbor). Make the walk past Tim Hortons one that earns me just one more kiss.

I ordered a junior chicken and cheeseburger. It took them 15 minutes to make it. Plus no where to sit and enjoy my food because to many students just hanging out without buying anything. Its a small place, the manager should regulate it.
