Staff was very unprofessional. Drink was handed over with soda dripping all over the outside of the cup. Food was stale tasting. No straws given for the drinks.

Stop by to get breakfast around 5 AM before I hit the highway to work. I went inside and use the machine, to make sure they get the orders correctly. But they screw it up again. I was the only customer at that time. Nobody on the drive thru. Most of the crew are teenagers and were having a fun conversation with the manager. Meanwhile I was there waiting for my food. They only started to move when I stood by counter. Then an uber eats guy came in and ask for his ordered and they have not made it yet.finally after 15 minutes I got my coffee and sandwich. The coffee was black, I ask for 2cream and 2 splenda, Had to ask for the cream, splenda and a stirring stick. As I was leaving, I can see the uber guy is pissed because he said it was ordered 30 min ago.while driving on to work I realize the coffee they gave was regular coffee not the more expensive Americano I originally ordered. I am not coming back to this location, it is a hit or miss, mostly miss. One of the worst McDonald's I ever been.

Unfortunately I had no choice but to come here again this morning. It was the only one open near my area. Got in around 6 AM It was just me and another person inside. I ordered a simple order, the $4 sandwich and coffee special. There were around 5 staffers that I can see in there maybe more inside. There was only 1 car in the drive thru. This kid, obviously he is new and still trying to figure out how things work. He was on the register and had to make the coffee. There was no coffee on both the huge coffee makers. No cream and milk in the dispensers. The number of customers on both the drive thru and inside the store is swelling. The manager was missing and the other staffers won't even bother to help him out. Took him about 20 to 25 mins to make a coffee. The line behind me was already long and a couple leave already. I saw some cars on the drive thru leave too. No body even try to apologize to the customers. I saw them throw out new unused cups in the trash can, because the stickers on them had the time ordered stamps on them. I did not see anybody try to help this poor kid. If I was the owner of this location I would occasionally show up and observe. I wish I can change my initial rating of 1 star to -1 star. Don't come to this location, there is a Mcdonald's across the mall that place is much much better. The extra 3 - 5 minutes of drive is worth it.

Today is the last straw. I ordered delivery and I'm forced by the app to get it from this restaurant since it's the closest one. My extra large green tea was only three quarters full.because the rest spilled all over the bottom of the delivery bag! Also, since when did an EXTRA LARGE tea only come with ONE TEA BAG? ! It's supposed to be two, otherwise you charge for a LARGE! I paid for an extra tea bag. I already forgave them for last week when I ordered a well-done McCrispy with an extra crispy chicken patty, waited 7 minutes for it to be made, only to have only ONE PATTY on the McCrispy. Yes, they rectified it by giving me my extra patty made fresh (even if it wasn't well-done, can't be picky). I feel like if I hadn't decided to eat in the restaurant, I would've found out when I got home the patty I paid for was missing and would have to come back agian and somehow try to prove that they forgot the extra patty. I also pointed it out in front of other customers who were waiting for their food and they were, by extention, worried about THEIR orders going to be wrong. I also went to leave, with my hands full from shopping around the plaza and the employee didnt hold open the door. Instead, she watched me struggle to open the door that closed on me. She never offered to open the door for me as she was too focused on running out her held order, even after seeing me stuggle with the first door and she was, at this point, exiting the second one. What's sad is that McDonald's restaurants are supposed to be about creating a great experience for the guests, but this location misses the mark! Please, do better.

Service is good, but the girl who made my sandwich has a long artificial nails at least 1.5" long with polish colors and she doesn't even wear a gloves, I don't think that is go with health measures, from what I know ether to keep nails short or wear gloves

To The Manager.

I have been going to this Macdonalds for years.
Always the best.

How ever the change to you knife and fork is very poor. I callange anyone at Macdaonlds to use these. The knife would barely cut butter. The fork needs to be plunged in to your food and the result is what you see in the picture. Both are useless.
This is also not sanitary especially during covid.
If this change is in the name of saving the planet Macdaonlds has really missed the mark.
Macdabalds may as well give out nothing at all.

I have pre-order, when I come to pickup, pre-order pay doesn't work. Was pay at window. Order wasn't ready, wait beside. What a waist of time! Was told lats of orders, what a joke in McDonald's. Won't came again to this location.

I have just picked up my order.i have ordered 2 burgers and nuggets and breakfast sandwich.when i came home to eat.there was a burger missing there was no number or anything to call them back.make-sure to double check your order before you leave.

Absolutely disgusted with the service of this place, flat warm pops, orders are never right, slow delivery and customers get blamed when the orders are wrong. I strongly suggest whoever reads this to stop going to this place. I "was" a consistant customer. Those who gave this place a review on the first order have no idea the extreme extent to which they treat people.including a racist cop at there side

Waiting 15 minutes to get a basic order, staff rude, no one cares about service - if you are short staffed or having issues just let people know (ideally when they are ordering so they have a choice to leave)

Terrible service always stuff missing from my order and staff at drive thru windows are not friendly at all. Rather drive to the Liverpool location.

Just got a happy meal for my daughter and there was no yogurt and no hashbrown. What a waste of time and money.

This location is the worst one out of anyone I’ve been to for breakfast. I’ve been here 3 times before 6am because I missed the overpass to hit the one in Whitby (which is 4.5 stars in my books). Each time I’ve been given such a poor level of food quality and not once received both the salt and ketchup I asked to have put in the bag. The coffee doesn’t get stirred properly, the English muffins are hard and the last 2 times I had to go back through because the hash browns were cold and chewy only to be given one that was fresh out of the fryer, but still not cooked.
It’s a slow location for traffic in the AM and while the food and service are quick in the morning, the staff really seem like they could care less about being there. This location lacks proper management on multiple levels and should be evaluated by corporate to remedy their issues.

Annie is the sweetest soul to ever provide customer service. She always makes sure my coffee order is correct in the system and made to my likings. Every day I go through the drive through and she is there, my experience is instantly better. She deserves a raise!

Order at this location is WRONG 90% of the time.

Why do I always stress to them 4 5 times NO meat and when I get home there is meat on my breakfast sandwich. Its soo irritating and happens all the time. N I have to throw it out.
Guess I have to start opening my sandwich at the window every time. Pretty irritating

Order takers were rude, didn't even let me finish my order. They just told me that I was done ordering. Apparently it's up to them what you buy, not you. The person handing out the food didn't say a word to us and was wearing his mask under his nose. The one redeeming factor was that the fries were hot. Otherwise it would be a 1 star rating.

Just ordered a BLT quarter meal the burger wasn't even cooked look like it was put in the fryer maybe all soaked in grease cold and red in the middle, garbage.

Completely a terrible experience at this location! Food was cold, burnt and I'm not sure why they had me waiting over 20 mins for a drive thru order. In the burger all I could see is lettuce and very rude at the drive thru. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location.

Made me wait in an alternate parking spot for a cheeseburger and fries. They were cold anyways so why make me wait. Burger king is way faster for lunch.

They messed up my order, told me because it was a mobile they couldn’t and wouldn’t fix it. Waited forever and in the end was told to call the guest contact centre. Fix it on the spot, why it has to be a production come on guys.

It’s McDonald’s. You know what it’s going to be. This one is currently limiting to 58 people at a time and has closed down some seating areas for physical distancing. Bathroom needed cleaning. I did appreciate the standing “leaning” bench while you wait for order fulfillment.

Trash service. Their drive thru has 2 sides. It's fine when they take your order in line and in proper turn, but when 3 cars behind you get to order first while you're sitting there waiting for your order to be taken.

I don’t know what happened to this McDonald’s but it is gone seriously downhill in the last year. Tonight‘s drive-through experience was the last straw – almost 20 minutes in line, ignored at the speaker while several other cars went past in the other lane, my burger was not what I ordered (and frankly wasn’t very good regardless) and my coffee was watery. Asked for a replacement coffee after sitting waiting for them to bring out my burger.and the replacement was watery as well - Ended up tossing out both. Yuck.

Several other recent visits were lacklustre as well. Guess I’ll just start going to Tim Hortons again.

Not impressed whatsoever with this location I went through the drive-thru requested fresh fries however I was given cold soggy fries when I went back through the drive-thru and advise them that I didn't receive fresh fries I been received the cold soggy fries refried again and given to me as stopping in Greece and so hard you can't even eat them absolutely disgusting customer service

I have moved to Pickering last month and decided to order some food form this location of McDonald’s. But my food was cold, I also found that the quantity of lettuce was excessive and they barely put bacon in my wrap. They were super slow that I had to wait for my food in a parking lot for minimum 10 mins although my order was small. Cold sugar free coffee has lot of sweetener which I couldn’t even finished it. Overall my experience was bad with this location. They have to improve and train their staff for the better food preparation and quantity.

Two ladies sorved me 3 meals around 12am, all freezing cold (and a rock hard burnt bun, now down to one star) whats going on with McDonalds recently? Whos hiring these people? Reading the comments i see im not the only one getting cold and sloppily thrown together food. I also got an excessive amount of lettuce, most of it at the bottom of the box as many others are saying.definately avoiding this location from now on

It's Monday March 9 2020. I just went through the drive thru. Ordered BLT bagel with no sauce on it. However they got it wrong. I am currently inside exchange the breakfast sandwich and the manager just kissed her teeth on me blaming me that I placed the order wrong. No proper Customer service whatssoever. It seems like she is working for free. Her attitude is out of the roof. It's 4: 53 am.

I don't have high expectations at fast food joints but I've tried giving this location a few chances and every single time the order is wrong, something not given (but paid for) or inedible. Like this burned bagel I was told to wait for in the extra drive thru spots.

Ok so they may have gotten better. The manager on was wonderful, her name was Julianne I believe. Great customer service, lovely attitude, and well organized. But the girl taking our order still got it wrong. Little things like it was supposed to be a double quarter pounder and bacon on a big Mac. So not to bad for this location. But way to go on hiring a compitant manager at least.

The thing about McDonalds is that 98% of the time they will try to accommodate you and even try to make a combo for you so that you can save money. This place is awesome. Loved that they were so polite too.

I really hate to say this but my experience at this McDonald's has been the worst one in my life. The order was messed up.i waited 20 minutes for a peppermint mocha. I love McDonald's so it saddens me to post this

Everytime I go to this location I am made to wait forever for food. The service is EXTREMELY slow and the employees always seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Very poor standards and most times rude employees. This location makes me rethink my diet choices.

Clean, conveniently located and friendly staff. UPDATE (2019-10-16) : While eating my Big Mac today a small sharp object punctured my gums. Apparently it was a piece of bone fragment in the burger (see pic). NOT GOOD McDonalds!

Olivia showed me excellent customer service. In my opinion, its worth the extra 8 min drive to come to this location over the one near my house for the fact the customer service is better here.

This has to be by far the worst McDonald’s location in Pickering. My family and I have had consistent issues with this location and ignored it, however not anymore. On one hand, the order is never correct EVER, and when we ask to confirm the contents of the bag the only thing we are greeted with is a snide attitude from the employees and management staff alike. They are also the slowest drive through I’ve ever been to, and will make you pull up to spot six for a meal under 5 dollars. Not to mention the one time they forgot my car was there for about 30 minutes. On another occasion we went to dine in and witnessed what seemed to be the senior level manager yelling at a customer and basically tossing her food at them. Lastly, and the straw that really put my household over the edge is that when my father went to the drive through last night the location literally only had fries and nuggets. And while we understand this is not the fault of the employees there, when my father inquired into the situation he was greeted with a condescending chuckle and a “not my problem I don’t own McDonalds so. ” We were never even upset about the shortage in the first place, things happen, but that response was just so abhorrent and it’s the type of attitude we always receive from this location. While this McDonald’s may be convenient, it is definitely worth your while to take the extra 5 minute drive to the Liverpool location.
