They've gotten my son's order wrong multiple times.quarter pounder with no ketchup, no onion, and add bacon, which I pay extra for and they always give a regular quarter pounder with everything on it.
So is this what large fries and iced tea is supposed to look like? ————————————————————————— Very frustrating! Not once has there not been a missing or wrong item in my order. Whether it’s a missing burger or the wrong sized fries, there is always something wrong with my order. To anyone going to this location, make sure you triple check your order before leaving.
Workers inside but do not want to serve past 12 am even though they are open 24 hours. We waited 2 hours for them to “change over to the breakfast menu. ” You will be hearing from my lawyers.
I went through the drive thu at this location, ordered 2 large fries and 1 small fries. When I got home I realized they gave me 2 small and 1 large. Not the biggest deal, but annoying that I had to drive back. They were extremely kind and gave me a new one. The real reason I am giving them 2 stars, is there were some hairs in the fries. It was disgusting and after having to make 2 trips it killed my excitement of having the fries.
Ordered simple medium coffee double double, first order i gave the coffee back to the cashier, told him it was cold. He made me another cup from the same batch which was cold too. I was at the drive thru so didn't want the customers behind me to wait so i parked my car and went inside the restaurant with both the coffees that i got at the drive thru window, showed it to the staff. She said she will brew me a new coffee and asked me to wait which i did for about 3-4 mins. Then the cashier at the drive thru window came to me with a coffee saying that he was sorry and thanked me for waiting and handed me the coffee and he also asked me to check it whether it was ok.
The coffee he handed me was from the same batch they gave me before after heating it in the microwave. It was so hot that i burned my mouth.
Seriously guys this location is the worst.
McDonald's is a good brand, but locations like this is going to take there reputation to the ground.
An absolutely horrible experience. It wasn't just the 40+ minute wait for cold food and room-temp drinks.
It wasn't that they got almost all of the order wrong.
It wasn't even the ever-growing collection of people in the restaurant who had already waited 20 minutes in their cars.
No, the backlog of cars that completely filled the drive through and waiting area wasn't the worst of it.
The worst part of this epic failure of a visit was that while my son was being made to be late for an appointment, the staff displayed only lethargic apathy.
Watching a dozen people poke around, give hugs, and occasionally build a burger while more and more customers are late for the rest of their day was the height of disrespect.
Some people were late for appointments. A young guy was late for taekwondo class. Others hopelessly delayed with long drives ahead. But the staff didn't care.
There was no hustle, no urgency, no sense of the moment. No concern that people come to McDonald's because we have somewhere else to go and need food quickly.
Everyone has a bad day at work. But this wasn't that. There was no sincere apology, no extra effort. Just 8 minutes waiting for a cold hot chocolate in a soggy tray (after waiting over 30 for cold food).
Absolutely mind-bogglingly ridiculous.
Update: Dmytri sent me a form letter with coupons that cannot be used for mobile or kiosk orders. A useless and pathetic response that shows just how little they care.
Ordered ahead. Waited 30 mins for 4 meals. Order was wrong, drinks (mainly hot chocolates) were gross. Place was practically empty when we got there and 20 cars went through the drive thru as we waited. Terrible experience!
I understand that it gets busy and mistakes sometimes are inevitable but in my case I think the staff are just simply careless. I’ve been to this branch 3 times and in 2 times I get home to find an item is missing out of my order. The 1st time after I ordered and paid I was told that milk shake machine is not working and was offered orange juice as replacement to get home and find that fries is not in the bag. I didn’t bother to drive back. Tonight I got home to find that the burger is missing and I had to drive back. The staff were polite no question asked and I conveyed my message politely but honestly they gotta check on orders! Personally I don’t think I’ll go to this branch again!
Worst in town. Got "parked" and waited over 20 mins for a medium drink and vanilla cone. Went back inside to get a refund instead. Went across the street to Costco. Got my stuff in less than 5 min.
Avoid drive thru. They have 2 lanes for orders, one is fast and other one hard to move. Joining the drive thru means wasting 15 minutes. Noticed they were busy in CHATTING with each other. Messed-up with my order.
Coffee on drive through is hit and missed (flavour and consistency are off). Check your orders before driving away. Drive through can be long and extremely slow most of the time.
Hit and miss around how quick the service can be when you order from inside the restaurant. It appears that the drive thru is the priority. Food is fine, sometimes the wait contributes to the food being cold.
The ice coffee (black, no ice) ordered is a size medium. The cup already comes empty as if you drank some! It took over 10 minutes to receive the ice coffee. Also it comes VERY warm. It's questionable if they actually use the specially brewed ice coffee or just cool down the hot coffee when they're supposed to throw it out. I asked why it's hot to touch (very warm) and said I ordered ice coffee, not the regular hot coffee. I was told they are told to have pots of hot coffee in buckets of ice to cool it down. Because this is how the ice coffee is made. He said he can cool it down for me. Brought it back colder -and it is the most diluted 'coffee flavoured' water I've ever tasted. HORRIBLE location and terrible quality control. Avoid this location if you can.
The kids who serve here are slow because they and engaged in chatting with each other while customers wait to be served but they had a happy disposition (which is a plus), hence the 3 stars. The washroom needs attention with no soap and water so hot you could cook rice in it.
Terrible service, three people got served before me in the two Lane drive thru and when I questioned it her reply was "ya and" I ordered 2 mcdoubles they only gave me one.
Went through the drive thru. They had me park and they would “ bring it out”. 20 minutes later still no order. Go to see what’s up. Apparently nothing. Get refund but wasted my entire lunch time and now no food for me.
The cleanliness of this place leaves alot to be desired. Service was also slow but I can't fault the staff because they were obviously undercooked. I would suggest the manager of this location hire more staff to help with the turnover of customers. Overall I would say the staff were extremely polite and food was very good.
Went through the drive-thru at 3am and she said they were only taking breakfast orders.then said They're changing the menu atm so they're not taking any orders. Left hungry
I love this location and specially night crew is best. They are faster then flash. I never ever wait more then 2 minutes. Very quick and nice workers on drive through windows.
Good customer service bur need to improve the drive-thru in night time, specially after 11pm. Waited almost 40 minutes to place an order on drive-thru. Very slow movement. Probably need extra staff's to make sure drive-thru is moving fast.
Great! As usual. I got a little dish of whip cream for my doggie. It's free. The only thing dogs can have from the human food list. Careful some other fast food places offer whip cream but it's not the real thing. McDonald's whip cream is real not synthetic. Pups can't have that ️
Poor experience. Fries were half full, out of numerous items. My brother waited a long time just for our burgers to come like this. Not to mention the fact that we weren’t given our change back. This location has consistently disappointed. Would not return if it weren’t for the location. Management needs to step up, this is negligence from up above.
Funny, apparently you aren't allowed to use the tables even though there are 6 tables with the caution tape ripped off used for a couple of hours by people using their laptops and power outlets to do their homework and studying. I go to use one of the tables and am kicked in saying those people are allowed they work here and they are just on break.break for 2+ hours? I thought the rules would apply to everyone either way.
Terrible experience. They served McChicken Schezuan without the chicken patty - just the bun and lettuce. No salt in the fries either. No straws for drinks even though I asked the server for them. The server, who was Asian, seemed highly disinterested serving and was curt. Do not use the drive thru for this location; probably better to go inside and order fresh.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ask for my food to be made fresh every time so I don't have to eat hard and cold nuggets or burgers with cold meat and hard bread. The managers even knows me by now and knows that I like my food made fresh to order and still I get cold/stale food. It's just not fair!
Drive-thru. Had to repeat my order 3 times finally ending up yelling it. No straw. Again. Third time at this location in the last 3 months. Fries were excellent. McNuggets were like warm wood chips. And they forgot the bbq sauce. I eat at a McDonald’s almost every day and for some reason this one is sub-par half the time.
Chicken promo taste was not that good. There was no enough mayo or an option in the app to add toppings like tomatoes (AW has it) They also do not put any ketchup, never. Also asked to add honey on my tea, never found it
If I could give this location a negative 0, I would. I just ordered an apple pie, order #289 and they never gave it to me. I asked for my money back. Management was too busy to provide excellent customer service because the manager was leaving to go to a personal appointment. This location is poorly run and has horrible customer service. Shame on Mc Donald's for having such poorly run restaurants. If every Mc Donald's location shut down tomorrow it would not be missed. ️️
How would you like to have a food that taste like home cooking. I met the owner and his wife, the cook. They are very passionate about their food. Will definitely come back. One thing to try if you are looking for any other than fried food or Chinesse.
Horrible system. Took over 20 minutes to get my two sandwiches in the morning. Didn't get my receipt back. No apology, no updates to anyone waiting in the store. No vouchers anymore to say sorry to customers. Absolutely will never come here ever again even though it is so close.
Very clean eating area, fast service and the staff was friendly. There is a play place there that is good for kids that are not toddlers it involves a lot of climbing so most toddlers are not tall enough

On August 27 2019,7h29 am, 2510 Hampshire Gate, Oakville, I ordered 2 medium tea, orange Pekoe and Grey tea. I saw my order on the board, 265 follow by 168. My teas never came out? ! I was waithing for my tea and realised people in line was passing before me. This is unacceptable and should not happen! This people need to have a more acceptable customer service!
Horrible drive thru wait times at night. Not sure if it's the people with poor drive thru etiquette that is ordering the whole menu, or if it's lack of workers. I waited about 15 minutes just to order my food, and then waited another 20 just to reach the last drive thru window. Please fix this issue.
We came through the drive thru at around 2: 30-2: 45 am. We decided after a long day and it was too late to cook dinner we would grab Mcdonalds from the Hampshire Gate location and when we pulled up you can notice (proceed to the images below) there were (dead and alive) flying ants and we get you are not a bug control establishment but the least you can do is maintain your drive thru windows along side your kitchens cleanliness just a wee bit. Now to make things worse for us, when we got home we were just about to eat but decided to split the medium fries we got and low and behold we had one of those bad boys in our fries (proceed to image below) and mind you it wasn't at the top or anything we poured our fries and it came out as if it were poured in the fries container, we were so upset we threw everything out so we were not able to have dinner and with all that because we were so disgusted we checked our sprite to make sure it did not contain the bugs and it did at this point we were just so fed up and dumped the drink out too. I am so very disappointed at the lack of cleanliness and careless effort made to keep their FOOD area clean.
Waited at the speaker for several minutes. Nobody took our order after several minutes of waiting. Meanwhile we watched 4 other cars get their orders taken and go ahead of us even though we had been waiting much longer. I will not be returning to this location. There are several other McDonalds nearby that I would rather give my money to.
In a very busy section of Dundas and Winston Churchill, sharing the same parking lot as Home Depot. Drive thru entrance and is awkward and when you exit it crosses the entrance. This McDee also had a refreshing face lift and very comfy.
Waited over 20+ minutes for our order and people who came after us were served first. Staff were disorganized and it seemed like we weren't the only ones waiting a really long time. I'd chalk it up to this location being understaffed and that makes the current employees overworked and tired. Everyone working seemed stressed and frantic. No one acknowledged the long waits nor apologized. There also seemed to be a lot of disorganization in the kitchen itself.
Most recent experience at this location (the one I typically choose) has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Once I arrived home, I found that part of my order was missing, another was incorrect, and to top it off - there was no receipt in the bag, making it impossible to complete McD's online complaint/contact forms. Unfortunately, this is not the first time my order has been wrong here, but hey, I can forgive a couple of mistakes. Phones went unanswered, so get ready to feel like you're making a donation to your corporate overlords. Sure, service is friendly enough, and I didn't mind having to wait a couple of minutes for my incomplete order, but the process of trying to rectify the problem has made it even worse.
This particular McDonalds location is very VERY disorganized and poorly executed. I approached one person who started taking my order. I asked for one thing, he looked at me and walked away without saying a word, asking someone else to take my order. If he is not trained to do orders, he shouldn't be, or should at least say something and be professional. While waiting for my food, I saw quite a few people going up to say their food was wrong. One girl said her poutine had no gravy. No gravy? Thats what makes a poutine a poutine. Even the staff appeared shocked on that one. I had quite a few mins to wait by the counter so I was standing around watching. Someone was talking to another staff about the way he was robotically handing people food.
I understand it is busy, but it is still very chaotic and terribly disorganized. Something needs to change with this location. Better trained or suited staff. As I write this, one staff just wandered around with a tray of food, having absolutely no idea to give it to. Whatever is needed. I've been to a million McDonald's and most of them are good. This one, not so much.
Extremely slow service. Ordered at 10: 24pm on Wednesday, got my food at 10: 53. Horrible attitude from the manager on shift and the cashier. Staff were telling back of forth, asking where certain orders are or shouting to hurry up and make certain burgers, etc. Very very poor management and organization
Just went to get some fries on this occasion, and went to the drive thru.seems like a busy location. Parking is ample but exiting the area can be a nightmare as you'll be heading right into the line of cars going to drive thru. Staff was pleasant and service could have been a bit faster.
By far the worst McDonald's location I have ever been to. When I was there they some how managed to get everyone's order wrong, approximately six people who had waited much to long for there orders. Visited the location today (just wanted a coffee) and they tried to give me an orange juice at the window. Will not be visiting this location again.
This location has the worst service ever. Whether you try to wait in line, use the kiosk, mobile order.it doesn't matter. They are so slow. Tried moblie/curbside pick up the other day, don't waste your time. At least 10 cars went through the drive through and I was still waiting for my order of 3 items. I had to go in and only then did they pack it up. The manager was not apologetic at all and no one cared. Very disappointing experience and this was not the first bad experience, it seems to be every time and only at this location.
Just waited in line for half an hour for them to say all they are serving is drinks and ice cream, so I left hungry as well as the two cars ahead of me and two cars behind me. What’s the point of being 24/7 and making people wait forever in line when there’s no food?
