Every time I come through drive-thru I order a meal and this place can never absolutely never give me a straw for my drink how slow and dumb can u be to not give out a straw with a drink

I have to tell you if you are looking for fast food don’t come to this location. You will be asked to pull to the side to wait and wait and wait then be served your food last after the people who came after you to the waiting row were given their food first. Very disappointing and it’s happening more and more often.

I love this restaurant a lot. It's close to where I love. I have seen this business growing in a very positive manner. I love the people who work there now and make your visit worthwhile. I would like to thanks Komal. She is a great manager.she really helped me with making me learn how this McDonald’s app work to get some free stuff.

I had a very bad experience here, it's not one time every time I get the food from them. I don't know how there food is approved by food inspectors. My son got severely sick after eating there food thrice. So I request food inspectors need to deeply investigate there food and quality, everyone's health matters.

They don't give you everything you order and what they give you isn't the right food. It's every time unless you remember to check before you leave.

If you come to this location and go through the drive thru… don’t expect to get your food at the window… they need 10 waiting spots instead of 2. The worst McDonald’s in the city

Delivery drivers don't accept order from this restaurant. They are worst.

There is the odd mistake here and there but overall I like this location. The employees are friendly and quick.

One of the worst experiences. They are worst-case in customer service. I always tell no meat in happy meal and plain cheese they always put meat in it and I have to drive back all the way back to tell them. Today was same and the lady at the counter was so rude and she was blaming me and telling me that I don't know how to order. Never coming back. Thanks for teaching me how to order rather than accepting your mistakes. Just to let you know I'm mc d customer even before you joined mc d.

This is the most poorly managed McDonalds in Kitchener. Every time I have ordered from here, they make me pull into the parking lot and wait 10 minutes for my order of a simple Big Max meal.

The order is also usually wrong, either getting the order ahead of me, or missing one or two items.

To the management of this location: just leave if you don’t care. Incompetent leadership is truly the cause here.

Terribly SLOW, we waited 20 minutes then asked where my food was, they told me its coming soon. 10 minutes later when I asked they said they messed up the order. Ok. 20 minutes pass and I get my order, the fries are cold, and the burger had pickles when I said NO PICKLES!
I waited over an hour for a cold miserable meal.
It seems like they held it hostage to have cooled down, ABSOLUTELY HATEFULL PLACE. NEVER COME HERE

Come on McDonalds do better, i'm trying to eat and there is just a big junk of cheese in the middle of the poutine, is it so hard to spread it nicely in stead of ruining my meal.

Worst Mcdonalds i have ever been to.ordered 3 egg McMuffins and specifically mentioned no meat but there was meat in 2 of them when i went back to them they denied to replace them claiming that i asked with the meat.even Manager have no idea about customer service dont know why he is the manager.

I have never gotten the right order on the first try from this location. How do you forget the egg on a sausage egg mcmuffin. Egg is literally in the name.

EDIT. In case you're wondering the service HAS NOT CHANGED in 2 years. I waited over 20 minutes for a mobile order. Had to go in the store to find out where it was, 3 employees ignored me until I flagged down a manager. When we finally got our food it was stone cold. Go to any other location.

I asked for a spicy Mc chicken breakfast combo and a big Mac. They charged me for it but gave me a normal Mc Chicken and fries. The lady at the window was very rude too, terrible service here. I would have went for a refund but I am on my lunch break.

What can I say other then "I'm lovin it", always a decent experience at this McDonald's!

I have lived in the area for over 18 years. Almost every time I go to this McDonald’s they get my order wrong. I have never seen a more poorly run McDonald’s in my life.

Every time I come here the experience is terrible no one in the restaurant knows how to get a order right took them 3 tries to get my order right like how hard is it to listen to someones order, and if I’m being honest their management is absolutely useless

Ordered a meal for 5 people. They forgot my kids 2 Happy meals. Pulled back around to get it rectified and I was told I'd have to pay for it. Went inside showed the receipt and the bags of food to show I did not receive it. They said that I could have easily hid it in my car! Are you kidding? ! This is by far the worst experience that I've had with any fast food place. 0 stars if I could

Will never order here again. Removed some toppings when customizing but certainly didn’t expect no patty. No sense of quality control here it seems.

Sat 34 mins in the drive thru as 3 employees stood inside the drive thru window talking to finally get my “food” put together like this

For some reason this location the fries seem utterly bland. Thought I was just unlucky but after a few times over several months there was no improvement. No issues with other locations. Everything else great, but just not for me anymore, other locations much more consistent

There was a lot of miscommunication going on. Although the situation was rectified, but I think it could have been avoided.

Never have decafe ready and very very slow service. Need to learn a thing or two from the location in Vaughan, On. Now those guys are quick and always have decafe ready to go!

Bad service the machines never have what the service want always they have a actitud that the costumers don’t deserve and they have to wait so long for the food come

Terrible service. Took almost 20 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich and I t wasn't very busy. Don't waste your time here.

Not impressed- forgot one package of fries with one meal and all 3 of the LG fries came this way. I have given this location a few tries in hopes it was just a bad day; but this seems to be the norm for them. Today was my daughter's bday and her bday wish for dinner and it was disappointing.

Eh its McDonald's nothing fancy but I'd give a higher rating but they tend to always mess up the easiest of orders im pretty plain guy I just like my burgers with cheese but some how I always end up with toppings I didn't ask for -. - even when I always day just cheese and always double check my bag before I leave I learned that lesson

Horrible service. Staff is rude and clewrly hates thier job. Food order is never correct. Always cold and or missing items. Not sure how this location even stays in business. If i could give a negative star I would.

The worst McDonald's location. The chicken is dry, small, almost like its been reheated, barely any mayo, lettuce was just thrown in. The one box of sandwich was upside down, the fries were just thrown in, not even in the box. The person on speaker was super rude. Never going here again. Worst customer service ever. Oh and used my free coffee to grab a medium. Tasted like burnt hot tea with a hint of cream and coffee. Waste of my rewards. Waste of money.

Instead of empowering staff to make a good decision for their customers and creating a memorable experience, management instead has staff follow a procedure that does the opposite of serve a customer.

If you have a kid, you know it’s not outrageous to order them a happy meal before “lunch” (whatever time that is for you little one). Unfortunately, I was 12 minutes early in the drive through and they wouldn’t do it, so now I’m stuck in the drive through, waiting to get through it without being able to order with a very unhappy child. I assumed anything could be deep fried at any time, my fault.

Apparently, deep frying anything but hash browns before 11AM on the dot is strictly prohibited, and providing helpful service to customers isn’t their priority.

I ordered 4 icecream cones and asked them to put in cups for kids they said they can't do that, the first time a McDonald's said no will not go there again not friendly staff at all

I can not believe the way I was just treated at this location. I go here for coffee every day and decided that I would take advantage of today's mobile app deal. A quarter pounder for $2. Tried to scan my barcode and was told it wouldn't work.ok.can you make this right? I have the code and details right on my phone for the staff to see. I got told no.too bad. I asked for the lady's name and got told no. Ok. I asked for my receipt for my coffee.got told no. The attitude this young lady gave me was absolutely appalling. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I was not yellling or being irrational. I simply wanted to get the $2 deal of the day. I guess I should just delete the app from my phone since it seems to be no good. I was really hoping this staff member would just honor the deal that was on the app. Apparently good customer service is a thing of the past.

Always a long drive thru, always cold food, bad customer service is the norm. The hard working people of Activa area deserve better from this so-called billion dollar company. It is a disgrace.

Drive threw is fast if your have a small order if you have an order that has more than 3 meals you should come in and order instore you'll get faster service and not get pulled

Hotter food? Pffft.same old nothing has changed, food almost as cold as the drinks. Wise up McDonald's practice what you publish and promote your product to be, to me nothing has changed.

This McDonald's is dirty. Had to ask for a rag to clean the table because couldn't find a clean table. Garbage on the floor. Were out of coke in the machine. Most McDonald's are clean. They take pride in how clean there establishment is. Not this one. I will not go back.

Service is extremely slow, seating area is usually dirty. There is no dedicated to the cash counter. I am hoping that my review is read by management, so that they do something about this horrible service.

Leaving Kitchener after a nice visit with my son and just needed to stop in to use the washroom and grab a drink. My order was taken and given in good time but the cleanliness at this location is terrible! Bathroom not clean with garbage and toilet paper on floor; counter when they keep napkins and straws was filthy with spilled drinks not wiped up. Staff nearby also but not cleaning anything up. This is the second time we go there and place is bad. Will not be going back.

They don't pick up phone calls. What is the point of having phones if you're not going to answer phone calls?

I have been there many times before and it was in decent shape, but yesterday was dirty, floors were sticky and ice cream on the floor behind the counter. No interest to clean the place

Because of the car wash free vacuum McDonald's nearby that's a restaurants also and bunch of stores around including the beer store I think

Literally every time I went, whether it was inside or drive-thru, they were extremely slow. I remember when McDonald’s use to be “Fast food”

I remember the days when we could drive into McDonald's and from the time of order to receiving the food was free after 60 seconds. This evening (after 10pm) we waited 37 mins from the time we ordered to the time, with 7 cars in front of us and when we got our food and the food was cold.

This was a very large disappointment for a restaurant that is known for its speed and professionalism in customer service. This evening we got none of that, not even a smile.just a monotone man saying "here's your food".

Disaster everywhere no napkins, both ketchup dispensers were empty. Tables covered in garbage. Floor covered in garbage as well. What a mess.

Its a mcdonalds, everyone knows how it goes. Except this location; its gunna take extra long for you to recieve your order, even if its just giving you a cup for your drink. They get slammed with orders everyday, dont go during busy hours or you'll be waiting for 25 minutes

It's McDonalds. You get what you get. They lose stars for not keeping up with times and adding a veggie burger to their menu. They also have very poor customer service at this location. I understand a lot are teens and this is just a part time job. But the lack of basic customer service is very off putting and why I frequent this McDonald's less often then any other in the area.

Constantly messes up orders and is the only McDonald's I've ever been to that closes lobby at 11 especially with their tiny drive thru

Honestly so done with this location. Repeat of bad service time and time again. Staff that don't follow sanitary rules, managers that are more interested in socializing and complaining how hard their job is to their coworkers in front of waiting customers. Customers have to clean their own tables because there are no staff to clean. No enforcement of rowdy teenagers that disrespect this establishment. Not to mention they don't fill orders in the order they were taken. Just drive down the road to Ottawa and Fischer Hallman. Its not worth the headache and disappointment to go here. Pathetic.

Please move to parking spot 1 so that we can avoid dealing with you and make our numbers look good.

So we went to McDonald's to get our lunch and we ordered 2 wraps and other stuff. They handed us a bag and then said wait.then they handed us another bag and they said that was it? McDonald's screws up your order more than they get it right

Another Incident:
Me and my friend like too bike so we biked down to McDonald's to get ice cream. Their ice cream machine was down so we left. (from a bike ride that was 2.8km. Then a week later we do the same thing. Guess what happened, their ice cream machine was down AND they could serve Coke, Sprite and fries

Off duty staff was standing at the serving counter blocking all other patrons from getting their food. You had to push by them to get your stuff. Getting your food took forever not due to the fact the place was swamped but because at least 4 of the serving staff were more concerned with talking to the people crowding the counter. The rest of the staff that was actually working was doing a stellar job as they were still managing to get food out. Even with having to push past their gabbing coworkers.

Why is there NEVER ice cream at this location? On a hot day.no ice cream.it was the same this time last year. Come on guys

Well. Honestly I can say since the day it opened there is an ongoing issue with the smell when you walk in. The washrooms stink and have probably for over 15 years. The employees for the most part are friendly. They like most restaurants now focus on drive thru service times. I went into the store today; drive thru was packed. Ordered 12 hot beverages. Nobody in line in store. (I would have ordered a box of coffee but they don't do that there.) It was announced to the two customers that came in after that they would have to wait for their coffee because of the size of my order. Not once but twice. I mentioned to the day Manager that next time I could go to Tim Hortons and spend my 22 dollars there if it's to big an order. Funny how people act in the service industry. It's like I did something wrong by ordering their product that pays their wage and benefits.
