It's a great spot for your favorite McDonald's meals but they get overwhelmed due to increasing orders herby keeping customers waiting.

Why does it take almost an hour to prepare a delivery I thought your picky with your hires it shouldn’t take that long at 9-10 pm or any hour and they also forget straws every time (update I finally got my food and they forgot my straw for the 4th time.

12: 05AM - “sorry we don’t sell chicken after 12”

Me - “are you serious? It’s 12: 05…”

“We don’t sell chicken after 12”

Great, I’ll just go F myself.

Waited over 15 minutes for a simple combo, but at least it came hot and fresh. Friendly service. Maybe don't use those machines as they're always out of paper, and it takes sooo much longer to place an oder with them than at the cash.

Ordered via app and had to wait in drive-thru. Never again! A&W is so much better in every way!

Took my family out this evening Nov 15,2023. I had to wait over 30 mins to get my order. Nothing has changed in two years. Never again.

Hot and fast. The seating arrangement isn't very good though. Too many 4-person / communal tables when most customers are solo means wasted seats.

Food was average. Customer service was ok. Probably wouldn't go back to that location. My egg was super mushy. BOO!

If you come to this McDonald’s, expect to wait 30-45 minutes for your food, every single time…

Worst waiting times all the time. Should never rely on this restaurant when you need they make you wait as hell. Writing this review sitting at their drive through been more than 25 mins in the line and no one has reaponded back

Waited 35 mins in the drive thru (only 4 cars ahead of me) for a medium fry. Got them and it was cold.

I honestly don't know why this place cannot get an order correct. Going through drive-thru, this location (Dundurn, in Hamilton) has an uncanny knack for taking the order, charging for it, then not getting it right - ALWAYS something missing, and or, prepared incorrectly. Do they have trouble reading the order when attempting to fill it? Are they rushing? Perhaps they get hungry, and eat some of it before it gets to the bag. Who knows. Just completely annoying and unacceptable. I wonder what they do with all the burgers that are ordered, paid for, but not put in the bags in the drive-thru?

Everytime I come here and order a Big Mac Meal, somehow I get the wrong item. This time it was a Jr Chicken. Incredibly frustrating. I understand the team is busy at night, but even on the slow nights it's the same outcome

The last four times that I've gone to this location I either got the wrong order or not all of what I actually ordered. The 20+ min wait times every visit gets annoying too. I highly recommend not wasting your time at this one.

The food is either good or extremely gross it depends on the day. They always get the order correct though. And some of the staff members are very nice and some are super rude. Overall not great.

Too busy late at night.owners too cheap to hire more staff.they make huge money while couriers and workers are stressed and overworked and struggling. Awful. Brutal types of bosses.

They are not very organized here. Be prepaid to wait a long time for your food. (24min and counting).

The staff here work hard and always make sure I get what I order because the tea button for orange pekoe has been broke for over a month they should probably fix it finally lol

Went through the drive thru and ordered a medium coffee (regular), the staff even acknowledged my order then when I picked up my coffee and drove away, I soon then realized I was given a black coffee. Staff really need to check their orders before handing them out or at least confirm with the customers.

This is a very busy McDonald during the weekends. Very busy drive thru, food delivery and dine in. Staff cannot keep up and keep messing orders and missing items.
Don't bother during the weekend at all.

They seem to be very focused on customer service lately. And hopefully giving this five stars will get some positive feedback to the crew members who made this five star happen.

Unless I’m getting something as simple as a coffee I’ll drive to any other location in Hamilton to avoid this one. They mess up orders at a higher rate than any other McDonald’s in Hamilton. 50% of the time I have to circle through the drive thru again to get orders fixed.

5: 10 am and this restaurant refuses to take a coffee order because they are doing "change over". Not sure if they understand what open 24hrs is. No wonder this McDonalds has a 3.5 rating. Embarrassing.

Long wait at drive thru and told to pull over and wait for our order which ended up being wrong. Should always check first before leaving. 2/5

This is the slowest McDonald’s in the city. I literally sat in the drive thru for over 10 mins before even getting to the order screen. And then another 10 minutes before actually getting my food. It was 10pm not a super busy time of day. I’ve never been to this location where I actually got my food at the window. I’ve always been asked to pull to the front and wait. Clearly prioritizing Uber eats orders before people who actually come to the store is also a big problem. If this wasn’t the only McDonald’s in a 15 km radius I wouldn’t come back.

Drove by tonight and big sign on front window saying they are temporarily closed and inviting people to visit the rymal Rd location.wonder why they are closed. I could only imagine.service and food sucks.

It's fairly good fast food - not exceptional, but not paying for exceptional service or taste. Staff did good job correcting issue with frosty being half melted by time we received it - would recommend for quick and easy dinner or lunch option

Wether we order on skip, Uber, or go into the restaurant, this one messes up %95 of the time. They'll miss items or get the order wrong.

Amazing place, very fast, ordered my food on mobile app, was a big order, took a little time because it was a big order which I understand, staff came out to apologize and offer a drink, I told them I understand it would be awhile because it was a big order but it came faster then I expected, great place, friendly staff, great overall experience

Received food that had been sitting around for a while.

Both the fish filet and the Jr chicken had the same problem. Fish filet was chewy (it was that bad).

This is mid day when the drive through was super busy.

I waited understandably in line due to limited capacity. But once inside, I waited longer for the person at cash, then by the time I got there he told me they were pausing our orders for another five minutes. I left and went through the drive thru. I ordered a hot fudge Sunday and all they did was put a big glob of fudge on the ice cream, not hot, no peanuts. Avoid this McDonalds.the wait is not worth it. The girl at the front was good and i don't blame the front employees, but the management needs to figure out how to serve walk in customers as well as the drive thru or pick up window.

Honestly it's McDonald's they are All the same regarding the food the quality and quantity differ due to the staff but all in all this restaurant here is good

Gotta love waiting 20+ minutes for your food then get cold soggy fries, non carbonated pop. Oh and don’t even waste your time if it’s past 10pm - better off going hungry till breakfast for food than have to wait and deal with the terrible customer service and bad quality food

Service seems to be getting worse. I've visited three times in the past two months and always order a regular coffee. Wrong every time. Today it is black. Not going back

Typical taste for McDonald's food. Great customer service. Fast service, but at a cost. The presentation is just a big OOF

Unprofessional teams! They very rude with UberEats driver and they do not help us to get the order on time even they hold drivers outside the restaurant for a long time.

Convenient location, but traffic at intersection can be difficult depending on time of day. Staff does great work.

Conveniently located right off the highway and its open 24 hours. All I ordered was a large double double coffee and it was hot and fresh. Fast friendly service at the drive through. Thanks.

They don't know how to follow the delivery services as they start making an order when the delivery services arrive and make them wait 15-20 minutes. Terrible management

I didnt go there, I drove by it but I did go to A&W which was across the Street. I have been to this McDonalds before and they have Very Great service! Along with A&W!

Who pays for this kind of customer service! Worst experience. Waited in drive thru for ten minutes before giving up. Went inside and waited there. Staff doesn't care. Tried calling to complain and no answer after 5 tries. This McDonald's knows nothing about customer service. Finally after 6 calls someone answered, heard my complaint and said "go to McDonalds.ca and tell us how can improve. Who in the world would wait for terrible food, pay for it and continue to come here. Their customers are one-time visitors. You'll see.
. ". What a waste of my time.

When I order the meal I would like. And when I say No onion because I am allergic to it, it's on my sandwich atleast 50% of the time we visit

Worst McChicken ever. They served a super dry burger with barely any mayonnaise and lettuce thrown outside the bun, inside the box.
Would have gotten my money back if I wasn’t in hurry.

This Mcdonalds aesthetically is different from many others with the second floor dine in option. Food was what you would expect. Lots of parking.

I placed an order via the drive thru, the young woman forgot an item.

It's the spot to hit up when you got a big mac attack. Always tasty. Good quality food for a cheap price.

For how hectic this mcdonalds can get I really commend the employees of this location for actually getting my order right for the most part unlike many other McDonald's locations. They looked like they are worked to the bone and yet they still pull through. Thank you.

When I do stop there they never get the order right plus I can't eat after food on their menu due to allergies

The location is convenient but I don’t understand how hard it is to make an order correctly. Ordered 10 nuggets, got 6, order 20 nuggets, no sauce, order a peach danish, they completely forget it. The next time, they give the wrong one, and the fries ordered with it were stale. Jalapeño burger had nome of the jalapeño sauce. Long story short, not worth coming here, honestly.

Same as always, staff isn't the best. The area is horrible. Food is, as it always is. They make mistakes quite often. Fights start there all the time.

This is the absolute worst McDonalds in ALL of Hamilton. They are unorganized, and ridiculously slow. There is no reason why a person should be waiting over 40 minutes for their food at a fast food restaurant!

Never any problems with this location. Friendly staff during the day. Can get busy depending on when you visit. Recently renovated interior. Sometimes can be interesting when crackheads are horsing around in the drive thru.

This location is usually so busy there's pretty much a wait 24/7. You can't really blame the employees because it's so busy all the time there's only so much they can do. Employees are usually rather polite and have never had an issue with an order. Just the wait sucks!

Coming from England I think this was the first time we realised that the McDonalds here is already better when we noticed that you could have a refill on your drinks (unlike in the UK).

We had an issue where we didn't get the full quantity in our order but the staff was able to quickly resolve and compensated with more food. Love the service.

Very neat looking McDonald's, and love the mobile order and pickup parking. I didn't use it, but noticed it when I was eating in my car. The food tastes the same as in the US. The only thing I noticed that was different is that the packaging has the Canadian Flag on it. I wish they do that in the US, too. The service was quick given the line was very long. The staff was friendly, and they got my order right. I would come back to this McD's again.
