In person ordered take out, pretty fast, but paid for extra sauces and extremely disappointed. Literally less than a fifth in one.

Drive thru employee was rude and condescending. Her personal hygiene was severely lacking.

Tables were dirty, not wiped off. Long wait for food that wasn't hot. It seemed pre-cooked, not fresh. Ketchup was very watery. The entire location is filthy. Numerous fruit flies surround the dirty counter where the self-serve soft drinks are. Ottawa Public Health should visit more frequently. When eating in, food should be on a tray, not in paper bags. The music being played is terrible, and no one is able to change it. Even though this is a convenient location, there's no improvement so it's time to find somewhere else to go a few times a month when we're out.

UPDATE: We were in the area, so gave it another try. The Western BBQ quarter pounder and fries were lukewarm, not hot and fresh. It wasn't busy at lunch time on a Friday, which is telling. Had to ask for ketchup, which in packets is still watery, and had to ask for previous customers ' bags to be taken off the table so it could be wiped off. This location needs new management.

Second Update: They still need to be asked to clean tables. The women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Food was warm, not hot. Very stingy when you ask for extra pickles, you get what should be the normal portion.

Tried here again aft they reopened post-renovations. The renovation is awful. Atmosphere is very cold, seats are very uncomfortable. I get that they want customer turnover, but when the seats are that uncomfortable, you don't want to even stay, and bringing takeout home cold isn't very good. Service was slow, as the counter area is smaller. Not everyone wants to use the impersonal kiosks, and who knows how clean they are? Touching them, then having to go wash your hands before eating, and finding a table - no thanks. Garbage aren't changed frequently enough. At the counter, Stephanie is gone, too. She always made our experience great. We've gone from coming here a couple of times a month to twice this year! That's twice in 7 months, it's not when things are improving when it's within walking distance from home. There's no more refills on drinks at this location either, but there is at other McDonald's. If it's McDonald's you're craving, choose your location carefully. We certainly will be.

We were running late for a long flight and decided to grab some quick food for the trip. Even though they're packed, the manager was on it and built the order quickly for me. Very grateful to their service, and this place is bustling.

The staff was very rude and some of the basic stuff at every McDonald's like wraps weren't sold here. We walked in at 11pm, got yelled at by the staff saying that they were closed at 10pm and that we couldn't order, so why did they even have the doors unlocked and anyone can walk in, 1 hour after they are supposed to be closed. That didn't make any sense and there were people inside still. So idk what they meant.

If I could rate this 0 I would. Was sent out to wait in front at 6: 30am after ordering an egg McMuffin, a muffin, and two coffees. When I pulled around there was a lineup of like 15 other cars parked out front. The order took almost 12 mins to come out, then she forgot the coffees and muffin. The car next to us complained of the same thing! Took her 5 mins to bring out two coffees.

Horrific service. Kicker is that no one was in the drive through behind us, so no reason to make us wait out front.

All the time you need clean the tables when the customer they leave check the Washroom all the times this is very important for health issue this is the good future for people and business, All the times check the floor not clean.

Minimum wage work gets Minimum wage professionalism, quality and care. We all know how McDonald's is.

Find a location you like and stick with it. End of day you get the same results lol

Terrible! Has to be the worst McDonald's in town. Staff asleep, (Didn't wake up until I beeped my horn), incorrect orders, rude and curt overnight staff when the drive thru window opened.

How does a coffee one milk 1 cream one sugar become a double double. And couldn't understand I wanted to scan for rewards points too.

Oh dear - food ok but hotter would have been better

Over 10 customers on store when 7 was the limit.

What would be great helpful is there was a way to indicate which order board to use when using the drive through as they are one after the other and can be an issue when drive-thru is busy.

I like McD's because it's usually pretty consistent in quality. And I'll give this particular one credit as it is consistently terrible. I've only visited here a few times, but at least half the time my order through the drive through has been wrong, and every time the coffee has been literally un-drinkable. And somehow the coffee was disgusting for a different reason each time. Avoid this one if possible, there are better McDonald's a short drive away.

This McDonald's is a short walk from my home. When it first opened, there was issues with staff competency and huge service delays but it has improved significantly. They now have two drive thru lanes which speed up the morning coffee line.

This has to be the most incompetent location in Canada! I challenge anyone to find a worst spot!

You can call and get upset with the manager, owner.it doesn't matter! They will screw up your order again and again and again. Every time! Do not waste your money at this location!

Always check your order. Understaffed.
Consistently slow. Must be the slowest in Ottawa.
Drive to Merivale and Carling. It'll be quicker

I order a coffee and 2 egg McMuffins. The coffee was burnt and the eggs were half raw. Wasted my money since I can’t even have any of it

Visited during the slow hours, food came out quick and was very fresh, fries were so nice and crispy that they didn't survive the car ride home!

Food is decent, although the drive through staff was a bit short and the second window individual just kinda quickly handed me my food without even the smallest of greetings

I ordered on Uber eats. I called the restaurant to tell them to make sure I get all my dipping sauces that “ I paid for” because every time I order I don’t get them. The girl picked up and pretended like she wasn’t hearing me and then she hung up and did something so I couldn’t reach them no more. Don’t like the way they treat their customers.

Just came back from there. Food is old and cold. Fries are just terrible. Indian manager girl looked at me right in the eye when giving me the food almost like she knew the food was garbage.

We ordered McWrap via Drive Thru past 10 in the morning, my mom repeat the order and the crew confirmed it. When we received the order it was actually McMuffin and we were told thats the only thing that they have for us in a way that she doesn't care at all. I came inside the store and complain and I was told that they are only actually serving McWrap at lunch time and they seem not happy about my complain which I am entitled in the first place because ita them who commit a mistake by not telling us about it. They gave me the refund by dropping the coins not in a nice way. They can't have the burger back so I decided to pay for it again even though I don't like it coz I don't want the food be waisted. Most of the crew that approached me aren't nice. Not again.

Last 4 times at this restaurant my order was wrong. This particular restaurant just can't seem to fulfill an order properly or consistently. I always order the same thing for the family, which should be the same price each time. Not the case at this restaurant. My order ranges in price from $29 - $38 for the exact same order. I always ask for a receipt and am told it is in the bag, which is almost never is. Last 4 times asking for a receipt I only got it once.

Do yourself a favour and go to the one in Bell's Corners. Even the one at Carling and Woodroffe isn't much better than this one.

It took 15 minutes to pour coffee, my order came off the screen, when I asked about it I was shot a dirty look and ignored.

I went there for the first time today. It was so busy and I was literally watching the staff was running all the time. They are really hard working and friendly. The team leader 'Shriya' was having some hand injuries, despite that she was working very well and was controlling the team.
Definately coming back very soon. One of best McDonalds ever.

Unprofessional staff, management playing favourites to the detriment of dedicated and competent workers, toxic gossip and employee theft combine to make this location the most despised McDonald's in Ottawa, surpassing even 99 Rideau.

Just went through the drive through fora cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger had no onions AND it looked like a blind cat with four broken legs put it together.

We ordered a cafe mocha, a coffee with 1 sugar, an apple juice & 2 Apple pies in drive-thru. Not only was the wait for drinks exceptionally long, but the lid wasn't secure on the apple juice, the coffee didn't have sugar in it, and the cafe mocha was nothing more than coffee with loads of milk in it. Awful service. No attention to detail (uhh, a drink order shouldn't be that hard to get right). Unfortunately we were on the road before we realized they messed up with the coffee & cafe mocha. Pitiful.
