McDonald's

Just went here for take out. And per usual it wasn’t great. I really don’t know what is going on with this specific location but I just won’t be spending anymore money here for not great service 9 times out of ten (if I’m lucky). /:

I went to the McDonalds on 431 Highland Road Kitchener and ordered Ice Cream cones in a cup via mobile. The employee in the store (Name: Nadira) refused to give me the cones in a cup and was extremely rude with her behaviour. Terrible customer service by this employee and you can forget about the customer being right or happy. I returned my order and went to the next McDonalds and got my ice cream cone in a cup no hassle or issue. Hats off to the person that trained Nadira.

Incredibly terrible service! Waited 15-20 minutes to get up to the speaker and confirm our mobile order. We’re told at the speaker our breakfast order would be honoured at 11: 02am because of the drive thru wait but got to the actual window at 11: 08am and they refused to make us breakfast items passed 11am. Lied to our face and said they were all out of McGriddles after telling us they were choosing not to make us 1…. Pathetic.

Do not go here unless you enjoy sitting in parking lots for over half an hour waiting to get the wrong order.

Sept. 1.2023. Wi-fi works fine but service at 840am was dead slow.
Ordered English Muffin with NO sausage.got sausage anyway. It tasted terrible.
A recently renovated location but washroom could be cleaner.

Always great service here. Can get busy at times but food always comes out good and if they make a mistake they almost always make it up to you. Great location

To all the Uber drivers that Post reviews about their service should really shut up and know their place you don’t post things about your employer who is the very reason why you’re getting paid at that moment, how dare you leave reviews on restaurants that you pick up food at. I’m not an employee but if I was I would be furious and I’d be looking out for you.

I don’t know what’s going on with this store there used to be a nice lady at the first window, who is very good at customer service but since she left… I think about a couple weeks ago, things have just gone downhill and service has been absolutely insulting. I suggest going somewhere else unless you want attitude for no reason.

It's a McDonald's. Food was good, service was good, place was clean. It's what you'd expect

Always messing up orders. Went for nuggets one time, could tell they were sitting forever. Tasted stale as ever. Was already home by the time I tried them, so I just threw them out. My dog didn't even want them lol

I got wrong order twice and got charged for someone's else order when using drive through, plz check you receipt as soon as u get ur order, especially when ordering via mobile order.

Always busy drive through. Consistently pleasant staff make the slow service worth the long waits. As at every McDonald's every where, the food is awful but the parking lot is a good place to wait when you're early for an appointment down the road.

50/50 chance on whether they get your order right (even after double checking at both drive through windows). Don't waste your time, go to the A&W next door.

I prefer to all delivery person don’t accept their delivery order they will wait you a long time and also not deal with me politely. I accept delivery from skip the dishes and when I reach at their restaurant after waiting in long queue when I reach to window they said it still preparing you have to come again from drive thru. Bad impact

The right driver speaker is almost always ignored, the lineup is always so long especially at night as well as the fries are never hot

Staff is so good. Quick service. Macdonald's app should be managed properly by management. App is not working sometimes. And it should be enough for whole family. Just one time barcode work and gone.

I really disappointed from Mc Donald service (highland Road). I ordered coffe iced frappe and they delivered fries with some drinks and burgers.
And addition to that order was totally open. It was not packed properly. I waited around 40 mins and order was totally false.
I am very disappointed from their service.

Too hot to cook, so thought we'd grab some burgers (diet cheat night!) First sign something was up - 'here are your ice coffees! ' Nope, supposed to be 2 quarter pounder BLT's, diet Pepsi, 1 large 1 regular fries. Next, I'm told 'your order will be out shortly, please pull into spot 1'. Go & park it. Wait. Wait some more. Look at Harveys up the hill. Young lady walk out with my order passes it through the window, turns and heads back. Wrong size fries! Pull out the mask, grab the bag & explain to 3 people EXACTLY what I ordered. They bag up a large fries & off I go. Silly me shoulda checked the burger too. Got home, cracked open the boxes, NOT what I ordered. There was soooo much sauce on it, I couldn't tell you what it was that I ate. The pop was OK though! C'mon golden arches, you can do better, you weren't overly busy

2 coffees ordered on my app and collected from drive through. Both coffees had nothing in common. 1 was small, milk and splenda. The other was medium with cream and sugar. I dont know how someone could mess it up so much. The small coffee had both the sugar and the splenda together, anf other one had neither sugar nor splenda.

ABSOULTELY TERRIBLE CUSOMER SERVICE. EVERYTIME IVE ORDERED THEY HAVE MANY MISSING ORDER ITEMS. I ORDERED 50$ WORTH OF FOOD AND GOT A MCDOUBLE MEAL. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.

I wish I could give this trash place zero stars. I come here frequently via drive thru and indoors, so I see how the crew acts and is treated by their management. Certain crew work extremely hard to make up for the long wait times, they make sure my food is hot and fresh, and are nice to talk to, they make my McDonald's experience enjoyable. Other crew are HORRIBLE, they talk ill about customers while they are waiting 15 mins on their food, crew vaping in public washroom when CHILDREN are there, and they just don't seem to care. But not all the blame can be put on the teenage crew, the management is worse. I've noticed a trend, when poc skip, uber and door dash drivers come to collect their orders they use a negative tone and disregard them (but that's just a personal observation). The managers are kids themselves, I don't know how they are expected to manage other children. McDonalds use to be an enjoyable place, now its a toxic environment that only cares about their status.

As far as McDonalds go, this one is not the best. Routinely orders are messed up, staff seem to be very disinterested in being polite or friendly, though it's understandable with the current situation going on. Overall, it's very meh, and there are better McDonalds around if you're willing to drive a bit further.

9 times out of 10 my order is wrong. Every time I order a meal my fries are cold and soggy. Ice cream is completely melted by the time it gets to you. Order a drink with your meal they forget the drink. Terrible location!

I have orderd a simple icecream cone and they delivered me melted ice cream in cups and when I told the cashier this is not what I ordered she just answered we can not take it back and our ice cream machin is not working well. If you have issues with your equipments you have to stop! This was the worst customer service I have ever seen.

This location has 2 lanes to order. I was in line in the 2nd lane. The car infront of me was at the speaker forever.and on the other side, cars kept going by ordering and driving up to first window. I just thought the car infront of me had a long order. Finally the car infront of me moved up.it was my turn at the speaker. I waited as cars kept ordering on other side and I never got my turn to order. I let about 6 cars go by until my patience was done I drove up to first window explained to the girl what happened and no apology received. Ive had bad customer service at this place 3 times now & orders mixed up. So from now on im driving to the other mcds even if its a few minutes farther.

Always takes forever at this location and you are lucky if they actually get your order right on the first try. Never leave without checking everything carefully!

Gotta love the fake 5 star reviews. Its pretty obvious when the 5 star reviews with no description only get added after a 1 or 2 star review is made. Terrible attitude from drive thru lady. No hi or bye, even after i said thanks have a good day, not a word said, not even eye contact. If you hate your job that much than find a new one already. Not sure how nothing is being done about this as its blatantly obvious the customer service is atrocious considering all the 1 star reviews say the exact same thing. Im going to snap on the next employee that disrespects me.

All thru out covid all drive thru windows for all fast food places, including Tim Hortons and McDonald's, A&W, harveys, Wendy's, hell even Starbucks, would allow ppl to walk thru the drive thru.same with ppl on bicycles. Well covid was still raging and I was starving at 230am and I was on my bike, went thru the drive thru to be refused service.

GO TO BURGER KING IF YOU WANT SOMETHING (good food and dont mess up orders).
I always get a double big mac no pickles super sized. This location is terable for putting pickles on and when there isn't pickles, I can still taste the juice from them just picking them off. Today around 4: 30 I had them redo it and my burger was half a paty this time. This is just rediculous service. Will put picture of burger when I figure out how.
Edit. They added another park spot because they always park you when you go threw drive threw.

99% of the time my wife or I order skip the dishes or even drive through at this specific McDonald’s which happens to be closest to our house at least one thing is wrong or we have missing items. Just seems like they really don’t care.

McDonald's on Jaimeson in Cambridge was horrible. Fries were not full and tasted like it was reheated. I had to drink down the clogged effect to avoid choking.

Please pay your employees more and train them better. I yet again had to drive all the way back to get part of my order that was missing and the drive thru staff was completely apathetic and rude. Then my McDouble was completely dried out and only had cheese and ketchup on it. Gross.

Always missing items from orders. When you go back and let them know they accuse you of lying and trying to scam them for free food. Terrible customer service. Supervisor has a serious attitude problem.

Had to repeat myself a few times to get my order. And even then they got it wrong and had to go in to get it fixed.egg was also very old as the second I bit into it.it was rubbery and all green inside barely yellow. Absolutely disgusting. Never going to this one again. They need serious help and better trained employees.
