I have been placing many large orders at this location this summer for my team at work. The staff at this location always get the order right and are genuinely such happy and kind people. Always smiling. I’m not a big reviewer, but I thought that I should acknowledge how great the services at this location.

Reliably mediocre. 60% chance they get your order wrong to some degree, 90% chance you’ll be waiting an insane amount of time. They don’t really know how to prepare the food or drinks, or how to serve efficiently. Drive through is meh, inside is aesthetically pleasing but service is too terrible to be worth it. I’ll keep going here because it’s convenience, but definitely would love to see some management that prioritizes doing, y’know, the basics of the job.

Oh also if they get your order wrong don’t bother getting it corrected; it will either be made wrong but in a new way, or it will be the same but worse somehow.

Source: Have been going here for 4 years. I’m not mad at this place btw just sometimes I want a coffee that doesn’t take 25 minutes to be made wrong somehow.

Sept 18 2023 10: 10am order me a sausage egg mcmuffin asked to substitute my coffee for a tea and got refused for the first time ever at this location.the lady there told me there no way to substitute so I was like fine what ever. Got my sausage mcmuffin and guess what there no egg in the mcmuffin. Looks like kids run this location. Check your meals before taking off people.

I have been here about 15 times since moving here 6 years ago and it has a 100% fail rate on getting the order correct. I suggest going in to order and checking your bag before leaving lol.

The food and the service were great. However, the atmosphere lacked; it was not welcoming.

I recently placed an order for a Jr chichken sandwich with no mayo but with added tomato. However, when I received my order, it was without tomato. Now, I understand that mistakes can happen, so I decided to give you guys another chance and went back to your place.

Upon my return, I was greeted by a kind lady who assured me that a new sandwich would be made for me. She asked me to wait in driveway spot 1 while they prepared the corrected order. So, I patiently waited there, hoping that this time everything would be right.

After a while, a gentleman brought me a replacement sandwich that actually had tomato on it, which was a relief. However, to my dismay, I discovered that this sandwich also had mayo on it, which I specifically asked to be excluded. I couldn't believe it! It seemed like such a simple request, and yet it was still not met correctly.

Frustrated, I pointed out the error to the gentleman, who then went back to the kitchen to fetch another sandwich. Can you guess what happened next? Yes, you got it! The third sandwich also arrived without tomato.

I must admit that I usually don't take the time to write reviews like this, but the level of disappointment I experienced compelled me to share my feedback. It's truly disheartening to see such a lack of efficiency and attention to customer orders, especially when it comes to something as simple as adding or omitting ingredients.

This is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to, the service is horrible, our order is always wrong up and we get “parked” for every single order no matter what it is. I’ve been parked for two coffees before. This place needs either new management or better workers because the way is being ran is ridiculous. Service would be 0 stars if that was possible.

Worst McDonald ever! So slow and never gets your order right. Would be quicker and less irritating to drive to another location in Guelph.

Don't pay cash. I was told I was "short 2 cents". Even when I tried to explain how pennies are no longer a thing.

Horrible service, and why does the drive through take forever to get the food ready, defeats the purpose of a drive through - had been waiting outside for 30 mins

Ordered two coffees and one hot chocolate on July 9. Got both coffees at window and was asked to wait on spot #1 for hot chocolate. After waiting for app. 15 minutes I realized that they might forget the order. Went inside, asked about my order. They had no clue about that and asked to repeat the order so that they can prepare that for me. There were 10 employees working at around 8pm, couldn’t count if someone on the back side. There was also an employee standing or may be observing something in the dining area. I got my order within few minutes though, coffees were cold because of long waiting. While getting back to my vehicle, I realized this location doesn’t have enough space for walk-in customers especially while exiting. I understand this location could be busy but waiting for one small hot chocolate for 15 minutes is not what a customer expects.

This McDonald’s fails every single time. It truly isn’t that difficult to count the amount of hash browns in an order or amount of whatever product and ensure it’s correct. Your company’s order accuracy is down the drain.

Not a great experience.

We placed an order delivery on Uber Eats last night on 7/18. We ordered a couple of other things, but the biggest thing was a 20 piece nugget to share. When the food arrived at around 10: 30pm, we immediately noticed that the nuggets were not in the bag. So, first thing we did was call the restaurant to see what could be done. Tom answered the phone right away, and was quick to dismiss it. Saying "That is not our problem, you will have to contact Uber Eats for a refund". He then, asked for my order number, got it wrong twice, then proceeded to leave me on hold for 5 minutes. All of this just to say, "Yeah you can come pick them up". Now, we do understand that Uber has measures put in place for refunding orders like this. But waiting 3-5 days for a refund, and still not having dinner is not even remotely helpful.

As someone who is a manager, he clearly either was in a bad mood, does not care about customer satisfaction OR has no training in how to deal with and resolve issues. Now, we started off the call just explaining the situation and he immediately got his back up. This call was on speaker phone, and other people in the room were very confused as to where the attitude came from right away. He was clearly annoyed that we had an issue, and did not have any concern with trying to make it right.

So, seeing as we paid nearly $20 through Uber Eats, we drove down to the McDonald's. We had to sit in a line through the drive thru to get the food we should have gotten 20 minutes ago at this point.

The gentlemen that met us at the window (another manager) AND the woman taking the orders were incredibly kind and helpful. Now, we were offered a couple of donuts to remedy the situation. While it was a kind offer, we did not really have any use for donuts at 11pm. However, we do genuinely appreciate the other manager who took the time to listen to our concerns.

This location used to be better. I don't know what happened. The service always seems to be so rushed, and they always send you to the waiting spots after the drive thru even for the smallest orders. The food quality has also gone down over the years. The actual burger meat, and chicken nuggets tasted funky the last time I went. If you aren't getting a McCafe, I suggest going to the Wendy's in the plaza over.

I order 4 burgers with onions but i got one burger with onion and chicken was so hard to eat like rubber. No salt on fries. It second time now

Came through drive thru tonight and a girl who works there has no customer's service, she was very rude. I asked for s&s sauce.and she rudely replied if i'd paid for it.
Come on. It's only a few cents and you're going to bich at me cuunt. I would pay for 1 suace for my fries but this bich talked down on me. She needs to be retrained or otherwise this place will lose customers. Come on, a this is a million dollar industry and you're going to be a bich over a few cents which is not even your store. Lolll. Ridiculous.

Just ordered from McDonald's, we didn't receive 5 hash browns and orange juice was half water. Don't know what's going on failing to ensure order accuracy, putting the blame on the Uber driver as if he packed the bag himself? This McDonald's continuously fails.

I forgot to pick uo my coffee and when I was at the lights to turn onto stone road one of the employees came running to give me my coffe because i forgot it. Now that's some amazing customer service! You'll never see that happening at a Tims haha

Always come here late at night with my friends for a quick dons run.really understanding and nice employees even when it's 2 am and i'm ordering chicken nugget meals.eating in the parking lot here feels transcendent

Staff was friendly, the iced coffee was made right, thank God for this. However they messed up the order and gave the wrong breakfast item.

Super rude. I get that they are super busy, but there’s no excuse for the attitude. Gotta drive around if you want to add an ice cream cone to your order. Thank you. I’ll drive to the other McDonalds next time

This restaurant especially at night is run by bunch of jokers who don't know how to work efficiently and effectively.delays are common practice for customers, and being a frequent customer, I've seen uber/doordash drivers waiting for 30 mins or more

They are just bunch of University kids having fun inside, while people wait outside.

Typical fast-food, typical McDonalds. Not much to say except for the fact that there is some space inside to sit down, at least when there's not a pandemic going on.

My sausage and egg mcmuffin was so stale that I turned around and went back even though I was running late. I pulled up and explained that my sandwich wasn't hot and was stale. I politely said I would like a replacement if it's fresh or just my money back. She told me to drive up. They sent me to the second window and replaced my sandwich. They wouldn't take the old one back and almost made me feel like I knew that and was out for a free sandwich. Either way, when all said and done, the second sandwich wasn't that great however at least it was edible. I normally don't stop at a McD's. Now I remember why. I'll stick to my Timmie's.

Service is great. Easy to order on their app, then just use the app to notify them when I’m on a curbside pickup spot. Staff was wearing a mask, confirmed I got the right items before he left. Will come back again.

Very clean, friendly staff. The food was picture perfect. I specially appreciated that nobody hovered to give me the rush out as soon as I finish eating.

5.07$ for a "Regular" Mcflurry which was not even filled up the entire way. I could have got a tub of ice cream for that.

I'd find a better "cleaner" location or perhaps maybe rethink McDonald's all together! I won't go again! Staff were ignorant and thats putting it nicely. Food preparation was obviously done by someone who doesn't care for their job, this place is a mess and needs a serious makeover!

Great place to go if you like getting your order wrong.ask for a burger with only mustard and it will most likely come with everything but. Always check your order before leaving

I ordered here and they didn't give me the right order. I asked for 2 happy meals cheese burger and on there screen it was correct and my kids ended up getting chicken nuggets I also asked for 3 Mcdoubles for myself to happen find only 1 in the bag. Will never go back here.
