I honestly want to know why the management won't take some action towards homeless people taking over the entrance. It not only discourages customers to enter to the restaurant, but it turns the whole block of street very unattractive and unsafe A restaurant with health and safety issues is not acceptable. You should hire more staff and security personnel to manage the problem.
This location made me appreciate McDonald's. The best one in Toronto. Trust me when I say employees take food preparation and customer service seriously. God bless this McD's and all the employees here.
I'm a former McD's employee at this specific location, recently switched to another McD's location. This location is the GOAT of all McD's in Toronto. The reason why the food is so fresh here is because I've seen the way they prepare it - with good practice and preparation skills. Fresh and putting the customers first. If any of my former coworkers are reading this, much love and kudos to y'all for keeping the service and food so excellent. Their food here is the gold standard of McD's. I literally walk down Yonge from my current location during my breaks just to get food here. Seriously. Customers, come to THIS location!
Waited in the washroom for 39 minutes or an employee to wash my hands before I did it myself. Not sure why it has a sign that says employees must wash hands if they aren’t going to do it? Won’t be returning to this location.
The female cashier was all alone. She would like to see the vaccination cards of customers eating at the tables. I was not there long enough that she had time to check my vaccination status. One male employee, who often cleaned tables, was nicely assisting customers at the front door, totally unusual for my local McDonald's in another province.
I stood outside tje restaurant on yonge for 42 minutes trying to access mobile order cause u couldn't come in the store the lady working the door.told me if i didn't order by phone then nothing wow 4days in a row i have been trying toborder your food im hungry n dont think imwill try again
I hadn't been in a McDonald's since April 2020, but my Big Mac withdrawal got the best of me. The location was clean, well organized and friendly with all protocols in place.
Ordered a happy meal, they missed fries and the chicken nuggets were cold.it wasn't even busy that they didn't have time to check it.never going back there.
Great location. Very well run. The staff seems to know exactly how to do their jobs because everything ran extremely efficiently and well when I came in for my order. The girl at the counter was extremely polite, professional, friendly, and generally in a good mood that is contagious to the customers. This location, at the time I was there, was very clean and perhaps that might be because they were not busy at all but to give them the benefit of the doubt perhaps they always do a great job at keeping this place very clean especially for a downtown Toronto location where it must be very hard to keep this location clean. Food was given to me both in good time and still warm. I gave this experience 4 out of 5 stars because one piece of my order was not correctly done leaving this one area of improvement when it comes to my personal experience here.
My Ice Coffee was prepared quickly, though I asked for a large cup of water and got a Sundae cup of ice at the counter.there was crew member at the drink station I asked them for a large cup of water and got a Sundae cup of water. It's been hot, weather I get it with COVID-19 times but at least do a medium cup for water. UPDATE: Horribe service today, rude staff. I asked for a cup of water, one would expect it too be cold by default. It was HOT water, not lukewarm it WAS hot. I told the manager, I have a coffe I don't need this. He advised that, 'Well you said no ice'. I asked if he was serious, he went behind the counter grab some keys and opened the pop dispenser on the floor. I said 'Wow, you were that lazy the first time not to do this to upset a customer'. He gave me attitude and argured with me, clearly he was wrong and could have just apologized. From 5 star to 1 star, McDonald's let's use some common sense.
First, i must say great location. Store is clean, friendly staff. Back to my order. The fries were very cold, dry and hard. I ordered my order to go. So, i noticed it at work. The fries were like the crumbs. The big mac was good though.
I visit this special place many times since I like the good air that is part of this place. The team is awfuly loyal and experienced. The service is absolutely fast. Needless to say, the food they prepare is highly distinguished. I frequent many times and I was always pleased. The price is modest. I suggest this restaurant to to all.
Service was extremely slow. We were 4th in a queue of 11 and ended up being last to get our food. Wraps that we ordered were incorrect. We honestly thought we couldn't go wrong with Mc Donalds but we were wrong
I like McDonald, the sevice is good and fast. All McDonald shops are very neat which I love most. But, it would be more attractive if their grey napkins be white or light blue or light orange.
Me and my friend ordered angus burger combo and specified to add extra sauce. Uber eat showed up with our food which was cold and burgers had no extra sauce.
Reasonably fast service, our number was left on the board even as new customers came in and went for similar coffee orders. Toilets nearly always let McDonalds down. Coffee was good though
It's McDonald's. Food is refined to optimize for taste and quick consumption, prices are optimized for either bulk or fast transactions, and environment is optimized for kids and parents. This particular one has decent service, food is par for the course, and since it's near downtown, lineups are longer than usual and it's mildly crowded. But that's just because of it's location. It's great for a quick snack walking through downtown, or a loud lunch break if you can get past the line within walking distance of the mall and Dundas square.
Capacino is good here. I like fries too. Bad point is there are no vegetarian food options. They can start veggie patti kind of options for vegetarian people. Also now a days you have to wait more to get your order.
Security guard calmly palmed off a man trying to tell the staff he owned McDonald's. 3pm on good Friday. 10/10 experience, would watch whilst eating fries again.
Cold food, long wait times. Stood there waiting for 10 minutes as about 15 other people who ordered the same thing as me, after me all got served. Recieved nothing but vacant stares from the staff.
Went in with my family on Sunday, April 28. We couldn't find a proper space to sit downstairs because tables were either dirty or occupied by vagrants. One section was occupied by persons playing chess.
On our way upstairs to dine, the security told us that section was closed off. When we pointed out there was no suitable place to eat, he told us dismissively to speak to the manager because that wasn't his business. We did register a complaint with the manager but decided to leave when it was apparent not much would happen.
On our way out, I heard the security telling the chess playing persons that they could not occupy the space without ordering something.
Overall reasonable wait time for food but poor space management and very poor customer service.
Service is fast and food is great as usual. The methheads in the store asking people for money is sketchy. If you're going here late at night, bring a can of mace just in case.
I rated this location wrong. This Location is very busy I understand that. But they need to fix something. Why would you have the Cafe express section closed all the time? There is 2 Point of sale systems there but no one working there. Ok, its dinner rush hour and all hands on deck? Problem is. I don't think its reasonable to have to wait 12-18 minutes every time I order a coffee because they don't have dedicated staff working the mc Donald cafe section.i though the point of that was for people who just want a coffee can make a quick order. These last few visits 12 mins 15 mins and tonight 18 mins I had to wait to get a coffee.tonight it took 10 minutes for my number to show up on the screen to be in progress.then 8 minutes before I got the coffee. You need to hire at least one person dedicated to the cafe section so peoples order doesn't get buried.
This particular location is open 24/7 although at later periods of the day, the people who loiter around are quite unnerving. The location does have quiet a few security staff around overnight to make people feel safer. For orders, you have the choice of the kiosk or the cash register.
The go to McDonald's for late night snacking if you are in the Dundas Square area. It is open 24 hours and has 2 stories inside. However, they close the second floor later in the night. Food comes out at an alright pace, the location inside the Eaton Centre food court is faster but closes earlier this is from the Eaton Centre location having more staff. Food, drinks, sides, desserts are similar quality to other locations so no complaints.
