Drive thru is painfully slow. I was the only car in there and it took 2 - 3 min before someone talked to me. Sadly this has become the norm over the past 6 months or so.

App glitches says they don’t have certain things when they do. Staff are disorganized and don’t give orders in a timely manner. This place is a disaster.

Your chicken nuggets have given MULTIPLE people I know major food poisoning in the last week. I will be reporting this to the health department here in sudbury. No point in reporting it to mcdonalds because you people wont do anything. You were made aware that these nuggets are making people sick last week and your still selling them. Might even contact the bbb.

New GM Danesh is rude.
He really should be retrained for basic service skills and maybe a brand specific ethics course.

This store should just be closed or taken over by corporate for a bit.makes the brand look terrible.

We went to order breakfast at 5am. They couldn't make our order saying breakfast isn't ready. Timmies drive threw, packed. Serving breakfast. McDonald's is loosing money and not on a "broken Mcflurry machine" level.

I just want to make it clear I’m usually not a person that would write a bad review or even complain. Around 2 o’clock this evening I went to McDonald’s in Hanmer. I had coupons that I received in the mail that you can use for a certain amount of your meal. I decided to take the 2.10 piece chicken nugget meal with the 2 fries and the 2 fountain drinks and substitute one for a smoothie. The lady had no idea what I was talking about at the speaker in the drive-through. I explained it to her 3 times in detail, and I barely was able to hear her out of the speaker. I went to the window, she had no idea what I was talking about. She kept scanning the coupon and kept on telling me it didn’t work meanwhile, I took the paper coupon out of the booklet so I went on my McDonald’s app and showed the coupon there and she said no I can’t scan that. Then tells me the coupon worked some how it changed… I don’t know if that young lady was in training but if she was someone should be beside her that knows what they’re doing, instead of laughing and talking to people in the store. I get to the window to receive my food. I checked the bag I didn’t have any fries. I told the Manager that I have no fries and he made me pay for two fries and made me wait 10 to 15 minutes for them plus the smoothie was half full. A nice young lady came to give me them and I asked her question “why did I have to pay for the fries when the girl took the coupon and scanned it when clearly there was a picture of two fries on the coupon. The Manager came over with attitude and told me “well do you want a refund then” before i was able to say anything he started shutting the window and I had to yell “yes please “he told me “OK you have to go around and wait in line “ I said “no I’ll come inside, so I don’t have to wait in that line. ” I went inside the manager couldn’t even look at me and couldn’t even come give me the refund… he made one of his employees to do it…. Wow what a great manager you guys have.

Brutal service, bunch of high school kids messing around in the kitchen, waited 35 minutes for half my order, other half wasn’t even available so they had to refund, won’t be returning

I went here yesterday and was utterly shocked, and disgusted on how you manage your employees there, they don't put on any gloves to handle the food and they scratch their neck and eyes with those hands as well. I seen this guy wipe off the counter with his bare hands and it was probably the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. My brother is an extreme germaphobe and if I were to ever tell him what I saw he'd need counciling for months. Luckily I didn't tell him what goes on there because that would mean he would never eat again. Not even my dad's words gotten through to you and he was a police officer for almost 3 decades and I hope this does as I am gladly leaving a 1 star review.

Good and fast food. Eggs are always moist and always get good service without hassle. Staff are always willing to help out and make ur order right if it wasn’t made correct.

Biggest joke of a business you will ever go to in your life. They can't even remember to give you fries when you order single meal. 3 items burger fries drink.its not hard

What can you say, it’s a McDonald’s. This location has knowledgeable and helpful staff, it’s always clean, and I’ve never been stuck in the drivethru for long waits, even when I’m just grabbing a coffee at a random time of day.

Missing items again, but rectified. They have to take a little more pride in packing up the food bag, it was a disaster. The food was good

Drive thru wait time is ridiculously long, 10 minutes on a slow day. Many employees have argued with me over things I order, when I never have any trouble at any other McDonald's. Plus, they always forget my sauces and sides like sweet and sour or side cream cheese.

Delicious soft ice cream cones for $1.00 each were an excellent substitute for Dairy Queen! Medium size and tasty!

Forgot 3 sauces for a 20 piece chicken nugget’s, how can you forget the sauces? Very sloppy workers, very disappointed

We loved our stay here and I would recommend it. The food was awesome and Helen was a great host. Loved the ambiance and very relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and the beauty of the yard.

We went through there drive through which was pretty quick.order a 2 Mc doubles and 2 poutines. Fresh and prefect other then a teaspoon of gravey, but after GOING IN and showing I was given more gravey and happy.

This is the most poorly run establishment in the city.a bunch of kids that don't know what they're doing. They had no gravy for 3 months and now that they have their gravy they ran out of their cheese curd. When you're in drive-thru they take the other lanes orders and leave you hanging. The food is always cold and never fresh and the employees have a lot of attitude I suggest you go to a different establishment if you want good food and good services

Unfortunately 70% of the time the order is wrong and most of the time they never have muffins available?

Ordered a McGriddle. Even gave them a tip at the paying window and when I got home there was nothing but bacon on my sandwich. No egg. No cheese. Just bacon. Very disappointed. Also was very burnt.

Went through drive through, the person taking our order rushed us and got the order wrong. We kindly ask to repeat the order. Once we got to the pay window she still had the order wrong. We kindly asked again to repeat our order and it was wrong. After paying at the pick up window both cofees were still wrong. Then the drive through line was long and could not go inside (closed during covid?). Most inept McDonald's I have ever been to. I will never be going here again. Absolutely disgusted after having 3 separate convos with your staff and not getting a basic coffee right with 0 care.

This place is the temple of God.when I say this place has provided me with nothing but transcendental experiences time and time again… let me preface by saying that my husband and I are root beer obsessed.any time we can get even a drop of that sweet, spicy, heavenly nectar, we will stop at nothing for it.it is our be all, end all.now, with the scene set: I recall a time last year when we visited this location for two chalices of this delectable, irresistible drink.they must have poured it from the Fountain of Peirene itself and had it blessed by the Pope.when I tell you we have never in our lives laid our lips upon something so flavoursome and piquant… it felt as though I was sitting at the right hand of God, and all the trials and tribulations I had faced in this lifetime were being washed away with a heavenly rain. I pray to whatever God above that this McDonald’s never lose it’s Midas’ touch and that I will only continue to have my overall quality of life heightened and improved upon vicariously through it.

Still the worst Don's in Sudbury. Last 2 times service has been Mediocre.
Last Time: Large Fry Had Less than a small
This Time: No Sauce with nuggets and fries weren't hot

Fries are always hot and fresh but they never have hot chocolate machine for mocha's or hot chocolates for that matter

Can't go through the drive through without them messing up half the order.every time! I worked there for 3 years it's really not that hard guys

I travel a lot and I use the MacDonald's app to take advantages of the offers when they're available. This has to consistently be the best MacDonald's I've been to. It's not the fastest, however, I always receive fries that are too hot and deliciously fresh and hash browns the same. Also, this is the ONLY location that toasts their breakfast sandwiches properly after breakfast hours are over. Kudos to the team!

This used to be the slowest McDonald's in all of Greater Sudbury but something has changed recently. I would consider this to be one of, if not the quickest now.

Huge improvement, even during peak hours.

Excellent app and curbside pickup. Highly recommended using the app. It really helps when you want to customize your order.

Worst experience ever lady asked me to go through the drive threw again as they did not hear that I said two mc flurry’s

Very disappointed in the coffee served. I have been to this McDonald's more then a couple of times and they tend not to get the order right never putting cream or sugar in or the opposite to much cream and it tastes like hot milky water

Ive always usually had good experiences with this McDonalds but in last two weeks, on two separate occasions, I’ve ordered a McDouble DLM and received a McDouble with only mac sauce and all the other regular McDouble fixings? Yet I’m being charged the additional 2$ for the lettuce pickles and mac sauce? When someone asks for a DLM burger they don’t want ketchup.they want it like a mac! Only reason I’m writing a bad review is because the first time it happened I went back to say like hey I think there was a mistake, the girl said I ordered it wrong which I had ordered it the same way I have ordered it for the past 5 years and always received the right burger. Didn’t even bother going back the second time. Besides the burger being wrong, the guy who served me the second time 05/02/2021 @ 2: 45am was super cheerful and nice.

I don't usually review McDonald's because, well, it's a McDonald's, but I'll make an exception for this location. The food is exactly what you'd expect, but they never mess up my order and it's always pretty fresh. The primary reason I give this spot 5 stars is because of the staff. They just seem so genuinely pleasant and polite and I'm here for it. Good work.

Always waiting for 5 minutes until I leave.unless in some work uniform usually served right away. It’s funny I applied to this Location to get the customers right away. But of course it’s runned by Tyrants.

De ided to update my review to mention how useless the app is. I place an order 15-20 mins in advance for my commute home and I'm still waitting 20min in the drive through? That makes sense.

They are the worst mcdonalds I’ve ever experienced. They never fail to get my order wrong. They once’s charged me for a large iced coffee and gave me a medium with no ice. When I went back to complain, the cashier was extremely rude.
On another occasion, I ordered a jr.chicken meal which comes with a medium fry. My fry was half empty, I would’ve probably got more in small.
They never provide with you napkins.
The fries are always cold and taste old.
Most of the staff are friendly, but they’re mostly kids who really do not care about customer service/their job.
I will drive from the valley to chemmy McDonald’s before going to the one in Hanmer.

Certianly the most frustrating experience ever at this Store, Out of last 10 times my order was right 2 times, I normally dont go this far to write a review, I'm positive i speak clearly and never fails, its a joke to ask for gravy and sweet and sour sauce, yet i answer them back with a yes thats correct, and finally called in the 3rd time to tell them that i never seem to get my gravey and or sweet and sour sauce and the answer i get is "well next visit we will reenberse you your 35 cents " I loose it and got hung up on.today my big mac combo turned into a mcdouble combo and rootbeer instead of coke, no ketchup never a napkin. I give up. I have the idea to open up a Harveys in the area however market Analysis, dont think its profitable? When an order was mixed up last time i was in the book for a free replacment combo, that too wasnt proper. I'm safe to telling you people I'm done with this Donkey show

The hamner location is not open to the public to sit I don't know why they're doing this Tim Hortons is open and haven't not any problems why can't you open and if you don't want to open then you're not going to get the business

Poor experience. The moment I walked in I was greeted with heavy, exasperated sigh. Followed by the worker with an extremely reluctant tone asking her coworker to serve me.

I felt like I was nothing more than a huge inconvenience.

They did get my order wrong. But the other members of staff fixed it very quickly and professionally. Admittedly.

But I've never felt disrepcted so instantaneously in a business in my life.

Seems that this place always gets my order wrong and seems to always be out of something the other day i went for a big mac and they said they couldn't because they were out of mac sauce this is your signature burger how does this happen

Went at 12: 30am. Everything was super fresh and the guy working was super friendly. Tried a donut there for the first time and it was really really good.

AVOID. AVOID. Ordered their new promo - Spicy chicken sandwich. The sauce which is supposedly the star of the sandwich was just a dab. Ordered through Drive-thru, no napkins. Fries - Salty and Soggy af. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Service is excruciating slow even when there are only one or two vehicles in the Drive-Thru. Myself and my friends have made comments regarding this numerous times and nobody cares. I understand a busy lunch rush or breakfast, but this is in the middle of the day and it's still slow. Order accuracy is not a main focal point of this establishment oh, and on several occasions I have been given things I did not order. Not really sure what is up with this particular place, but McDonald's is not normally like this.

It is a running joke with the locals that this place grows their own potatoes in the store because an order of french fries takes so long. It is a very small community that does not have much selection, so we are limited to where we can go and unfortunately are forced to deal with it. Make sure you leave yourself a little bit of extra time if you plan to go here for a lunch break.

Ordered a breakfast chicken sandwich, got a burnt charred bun, wrote to MacDonald's and sent pictures, no answer, cause they don't care at all.thanks for ruining my breakfast.

The poutine was amazing but they forgot a fork. How am i supposed to eat poutine without a fork. But worker was great about the situation and quickly fixed his mistake

Got the meal with med. Fry, when told they had made a mistake and to correct it the girl told my girlfriend she would give her curds and side of gravy and that she can put it together herself because they can not take back the med fry.

Mcdouble no sauce.

Filets barely any sauce and thrown on bun on one side (cheese melts and so cant really fix it)

Now try to imagine a world in where everybody conducts their jobs in the same manner.

Training seems to be an issue. Slower and more wrong orders than most other McDonald's in the city.

They usually get your order wrong, it takes 10 mins. The last time I went all of my fries werent completely filled and it looks like someone just tossed stuff in my bag.

Asked for a quarter with cheese, no meal just the burger $5.99 I asked don't you have the $3.00 quarter with cheese promo, oh ya

This is consistently one of the slowest McDonald’s I’ve been to.

Just now I rolled up to the drive through as the only car, waited about four minutes, then on the other side two vehicles rolled up. The first had their order taken immediately and started rolling. I backed out of the drive through and left when they started taking the second vehicle’s order. Sorry, but I was there first and that’s tremendously annoying.

The staff is usually very friendly, however.

Out of 3 burgers we purchased, 1 had so much grease that the bun was saturated and dripping and the other was raw hamburger meat. When my friends went to bring them back to the kitchen, they were mocked by the staff. Completely childish, unprofessional and unacceptable behavior!

I have been to many McDonald's throughout Ontario and the Hanmer one is far by the slowest one. There should be no way, one would wait in line for more than 10 minutes for their morning coffee. This is a Managerial problem, not the workers. I have to give 1 star for this location because we have no choice.

Slowest McDonalds on the planet if you go inside to order, and if you try the drive thru you'll just be sitting while they dont take your order.

Why does it always take more than 15 minutes to get through this drive thru? Ordered 1 Mcdouble meal, they parked me in reserve and had to come out 3 times to ask me what I ordered. Total of 20 minutes waiting for 1 meal. Service is terrible

I have never had a fast food experience at this Mc Donald's restaurant, eat in or drive through. I thought I would see how their breakfast goes but it's worse. This is the slowest one I have ever been to it saddens me that it is so close to home.expect a 20minute wait

I only go to McDonald in the valley for coffee only. Dirty place and the service bad.need new management that's not a kid and better values

Service was quite long but there was good friendly staff! Food was fine except I was just left waiting a while. A lot of racket was to be heard from the workers from the back that I felt could have been conducted better or managed better!
I'm not one to get annoyed easily or to give an anywhere near negative review but the standard isn't great in a lot of aspects and needs to be worked on.

The dual drive thru attendants are terrible at maintaining order and taking them as well. The food is well McDonald's "quality". Don't waste your time here, go somewhere else to get better food quicker.

Ordered around 40$ worth of food and it only took a couple minutes to make. Service was amazing the young man even brought me my food to my table. I think he said his name was Taylor. Made my experience way more than I ever expected from Hanmer Mcdonalds. 100% would come again!
