Manager was rude because I asked for BBQ sauce as well for a 10pack of nuggets that came with 2 sweet and sour packs. My son worked at McDs as a manager and mentioned they allowed 4 packs and she snapped back that next time it would be 30c each for more than 2 and that she was the "manager". Not for the 30c but quite an absurd think to confront a customer about! What ever happened to the customer is always right?
I stopped by tonight around 7pm in the drive thru to pick up a mobile order I had just placed for a medium fry and 2 cookies. I was coming home from a very long, tiring and stressful day at the hospital as a nursing student and the staff at this McDonald's turned my day around (special shoutout to the supervisor/manager tonight for what she did)! When I got to the second window in the drive thru I was informed they did not have any cookies ready, and it would be a 2 minute wait for fresh cookies. I agreed to pull ahead and wait for my order to be brought out. I waited for 10-15 mins before deciding to go inside. When I walked in, I waited for maybe 15 seconds before the supervisor/manager asked me if I was waiting for the fry and cookies. She told me she was very sorry and that they had dropped the cookies, hence the wait. I didn't even ask yet she offered to refund my order, give me 6 fresh cookies instead of 2, and upgrade my fry to a large. She told me to have a seat and that she would bring me the order once the cookies were ready. When she came out, she also gave me a cup and told me to get a free fountain drink. She really went above and beyond to make up for the wait time and I want her to know this act of kindness turned my bad day into a much better one. I really was not expecting what they did for me at all, but I am extremely appreciative. Thank you to the team at St. David's Rd McDonald's!
I had such a great experience at this McDonald’s this morning around 4: 30 AM. I asked for a large peppermint tea and a little bit of ice added to it, so that it would cool down enough to drink sooner. The gentleman on cash at the drive-through clarified to make sure he knew what I wanted, and then, when I pulled up, he handed me my tea with some ice added, and also a small cup with a little more ice, “Just in case you need more. ” I had just had been up all night with something very difficult, bringing our dog into the veterinary clinic nearby, and his kindness really touched me. Thank you whoever you are!
