Close to the beach, so if it is too busy just order to go and head down Coxwell to the beaches!
I've never had a mixed up order or a missed item, and everyone there is super friendly!
It's McDonald's you know what you are getting.but not all of them are equal, this is a busy but good one. Just expect to wait at the usual times (lunch rush, breakfast rush and after school)
The past few weeks are by far the worst ever. Constant wrong orders other things put on my order. Guess cant ask much of this McDonald's and they are $1 more than other McDonald's
Pretty much what you would expect from a fast food place. Most of the time it's what you are looking for, very rare for them to forget an item or to get an order wrong.
If zero stars could be selected, even that would be a courtesy.
The customer service at this location is some of the worst customer service I have ever seen at a popular fast food chain like McDonald’s.
I pickup a lot of fast food orders, as a part time Uber Eats driver.
Watching a store staff or manager treat a customer like complete trash for attempting to pickup their order was a surprising and disgusting experience.
The McDonalds app will shamelessly allow a customer to place an order after the dining room is closed, even if they do not have a vehicle to pickup their order in the drive thru.
So this customer goes to the pickup window, where Uber Eats pickup their orders.
A courteous and punctual staff would have made the easy and time-saving decision to simply Provide this customer with her order at the pickup window.
Instead, I watched this staff repeatedly attempt to humiliate and belittle this poor customer, who just wanted to pickup their order, when the kitchen is closed, and they don’t have a vehicle for drive thru. Not to mention, the drive thru at this time is so busy the lineup is spilling into the street.
The McDonalds staff couldn’t even confirm for the customer that drive thru would provide their order if they attempt pickup without a vehicle. And since this customer wasn’t an Uber Eats driver, the staff opted to repeatedly refuse to hand this paying customer their (now probably cold) order as an exception to their store’s awkward order experience. The staff actually expected this customer to stand in a lineup of over a dozen vehicles, which is already insanely dangerous to do, not to mention might appear awkward or even humiliating to the customer.
I’ve never seen anything like this before. A paying customer finds the next best option to pickup an order and the store decides to waste everybody’s time with a frivolous power struggle that resulted in the customer becoming embarrassed and disheartened by this awful McDonald’s staff.
Just the worst customer service. I’m shocked this restaurant would do that to someone. Nobody should ever have to be treated like that simply for trying to retrieve an order they already paid for at the pickup window, since they don’t have a vehicle to safely attend the drive thru, and the dining room is closed.
McDonalds would rather do anything but their job when faced with a pickup order issue that is easy to solve within a short amount of time.
Shame on McDonalds for making a customer have to endure such a disgusting and reprehensible customer service experience.
The Worst, closes to early and always out of things. McDonalds is a disgrace across the board now anyways… catering to Uber more than a guest experience!? Shameful.
RIP OFF! This franchise over charges. I paid $10.99 for nuggets at 3150 st Clair Ave earlier today and they are $14.39 at 29-31 Woodward. Spicy Habanero McChicken…where is the lettuce? The pieces that is there is browned and rotten. This is the worst McDonald’s location ever.
SUCH A LAZY OUTLET. TAKES FOREVER TO PREPARE AND SERVE ITEMS. IT TOOK THEM 45 MINUTES TO MAKE MY 3 ITEMS READY. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE AGAIN
Poor customer service. The staff is currently yelling at an old man who is asking how much an egg McMuffin is, and the main board above cash where prices are usually displayed is not working. And I just dropped over $50.00 here and they wanted me to pay 25 cents for a Sweet & Sour sauce.and then made me pay it on debit. I worked at McDonalds for 5 years and this McDonalds is not up to the franchise standard.
Very disappointed that this Scottish restaurant has no Haggis, Scotch pies, or porridge - never mind the odd look you get when asking for a glass of Glen Alba! Perplexing.
Pros: The location is convenient, near the beaches and it has a nice patio. Washrooms are pretty clean.
Cons: We waited for 30min to get half of our order. Fortunately, the customer service is good.they gave us at least free food as compensation. But the organization has to be definitely reviewed by the manager. It is unacceptable to wait 30min for fast food.
Food was hot and fresh. Looks much better after the renovations, just strange they allow so many customers in without a mask. I know you can’t stop everyone, but you have to put in a little effort.
I’ve been to this McDonald’s many times as it’s the closest to me but I now go out of my way to a different location. This franchise seems to be badly managed and they take a long time to fulfill drive through orders relative to even busier franchises. I also came here for ice cream late at night and they closed down for over 30mins to “prepare for breakfast” as per the server even though it’s a 24hr McDonald’s. When they finally reopened, I was told that they do not serve ice cream cones during breakfast. My friend ordered an egg McMuffin and it had shells in it. I hope they take a few notes from the many other franchises that are being run far more smoothly and efficiently.
Slowest service ever. Don't even bother going through the drive through. 15 min waiting at the drive through and no movement. Finally got tired of waiting and left without any food.
Absolutely worst mcdonalds in Toronto.every morning the drive through is wrapped around the street and the employees could not make a good coffee for the life of them. My coffee tastes like a cup of warm cream every morning. If I could give zero stars I would.
Some of the employees are a bit rude when serving due to the high traffic and the stress of all the homeless people screaming and stuff so I give this a 2 star rating
Because in my opinion you still don't have to be rude despite how stressed you are
Oh and they fill out stole my money and they know exactly what they did
I don't normally have problems with this McDonalds so this rating is for today's service. I just don't get why they wouldn't automatically discount the order to the current sale (coupon) price.
I asked if I could use the current Two Can Dine Meal Deal coupon for $12.18, but substitute one drink with a coffee, and pay the difference. Person said yes. I also ordered a few other items but didn't have a chance to look at the receipt until i got home - my own fault, I know. They charged me full price - $9.99 per meal, essentially $20, when it should have been little over $12 for the 2 meals. I would have been fine if they said no to the coffee substitution, and simply used the coupon and bought an additional coffee. That still wouldn't have cost anything near what they charged me! What a rip off. I would have gone back to complain in person but this McDonalds gets busy as soon as the weather clears up and the parking lot gets packed. Why would anyone pay full price when there are coupons? They should know better!
Recently went through the drive-thru and it was quite busy with both lanes open, the staff were very accommodating and patient with everyone. As far as I saw, all of the orders were packed well and organized.
Good Covid protocols. It's inconvenient but they've closed the bathrooms closed off the seating kept it as clean as possible alcohol dispensers are full and the staff are quick and do their best. This has always been our neighborhood McDonald's and they've done well to try to serve the community through covid. Very grateful.
The children that work here are disorganized and rude. Iced coffee took 15 mins. Was also standing on a designated spot for waiting inside and this young employee comes barreling straight at me with an Uber order. No even an excuse me. I just moved out of the way. Again, I was on a designated round circle spot.
Ordered on Uber eats and they literally made me wait an hour for my food before eventually cancelling the order after it was already prepared. Very frustrating. They also never answer the phone, very unprofessional
If you enjoy surprises, you're going to love this place: ordered an Angus burger? Get home to find a chicken burger. Asked for ketchup? Find the mustard in your bag. I don't think they've gotten my order correct once yet. Each visit is a wild adventure of random food and miscellaneous condiments.
The drive through features those goofy menus that you can't see until you're at the ordering mic, and which don't show the entire menu, but instead show just a few items, which very, very slowly cycle through other items. Expect to be there a while, unless you know going into it what you'll order.
Insofar as the food, it's the usual McDonald's fare.
This place had a great vibe. Really clean, super service and great food. No pressure to leave right away. Ample parking which is a plus. Will definately return!
Most Mcdonalds are like zoos with too many ignorant and rude customers ruining the experience. This one is one of the more peaceful ones where you can eat in relative peace because there are less customers. Our family goes out of way to come here instead of a couple that are closer to our house. There is plenty of parking. The only negative is that they do NOT give free refills on coffee.
Even though it was crazy busy right after the fireworks on Victoria day, staff at this location managed it pretty well and were providing good service.
Whoever the gentlemen is who is the manager here is probably one of the friendliest, nicest people I’ve ever dealt with, went around and said hello to everybody, tall guy didn’t get his name, he deserves a raise / should be training other managers on how to act.
Not the greatest food. Nor the greatest selection of food. You would expect to get fast service at a fast food place but this is not the case. Generally slow and longer than expected waits. Bathrooms are disgusting and used by drug addicts primarily.
I used the drive thru, and it was a poor service. There was no one to receive and no warning to pay forth. We ordered a coffee, we had to ask for the sugar and stir fry, which was given only because we ordered.
The food was ok. A lot of the workers where just talking and not making the food. They made my burger first then had to wait 5 minutes for my fries. The place is very small and not very clean. I did not like this place at all.
Average McDonalds. Nothing much to say. It has 24 hour drive thru. Decent employees that are feiendly. Food is still unhealthy as hell. Some things just wont change and McDonalds is one of them.
The teenagers at the front counter are all friendly, nice and trained. Problem is i overheard the owner Tony constantly putting them down with his gestures if they asked the customer more than twice to get everything right. May I add that he was the one standing by their side rushing and confusing them. In this location, friendly behavior and respectful guidance should be practiced instead of bashing kids. The orders are often wrong which i think could be due to the managers constantly yelling at the kitchen workers and making them nervous during pick hours.
Amazing service. I was in there at noon with my two year old and did the self ordering. Once I paid and got my order number, one of the staff came by to ask if I was dining in or taking out. I said staying in and the staff said she would bring the food to our table. This allowed me to find a seat and setup the high chair my toddler. Great service.
I like this Mickey Dee's. Located next to a few parks, it's nicer than most. I had to choose between 3 and 4 stars, and went with 4 because I'm nice like that.
