I ordered pokemon cards and because it's cardboard the sweat in box damaged my son's collector cards. Most toys are in plastic. So it's an oversight in the training process.
Came from out of town. Dirty bathrooms. Ordered ice cream cones in app. It was a kiddie cone. Have never had such a small amount of ice cream at any Macdonalds before.
This McDonalds is overwhelmingly struggling, the drive through anytime in the evening is lined out to the street. This was the case when we arrived so we went inside. We were met by a flurry of staff with one particular either shift lead or supervisor repeatedly stating "this is insane, let's just shut it down" "how long are you here until, can you stay longer". She clearly didn't want to be at work, due to the amount of orders and people fed up with the drive through and parking to come in instead she locked all entrance doors with 20+ customers inside. This I'm %99 sure is illegal and a massive safety hazard to staff and patrons. The franchisee should be looking at how to restructure the workflow and operations to make it more manageable. We waited 10+ minutes for iced coffees and a regular coffee. Whilst the manager looking defeated just trudged around trying to put a bandaid on her bullet hole like service. Save your cash and go somewhere else. I can only imagine what will happen when drink days and schools out for the summer starts. Total mess.
So they purposefully don't stock the free red mac sauce packets so they can put them in containers and charge for them. As well, dress like mac cost $2.50 here and it's a dollar elsewhere. Really?
Edit: I've revisited and this Mcdonalds has gone completely downhill. Owners should be ashamed
Same old same old. Out my order in and drove away, since fast food is ideal for people in a rush or on the road. But as per usual this location messed up the order. At least this time I only got charged a large fry for a small. My fault for not following my own advice. Never leave the window at a Listowel drive through without checking your order. They rarely get it right, it must be something in the water. ️
This location is a train wreck.good luck to all who venture here! Also the drive thru is closed for construction which is not mentioned on the website.
Somehow we manage to be 4 hashbrown short. Went I drove back to McDonald it was past 11 and they would not replace it with hash browns. I only got two fries instead. We also had to wait about 20 minutes in the pickup area after ordering.
When I got there the management team were having some kind of difficult discussion in front of the cash register. After less than two minutes, they eventually left and the cashier (who was not part of the discussion) sheepishly went to her post to serve me. She effectively took my order and checked me for vaccination information as I was going to eat inside the restaurant. I had ordered the 1/4 pounder meal deal so as I was waiting for the meal, which was prepared fairly quickly, a different person gave me a cup for my Coke. I went to the drink machine but it was out of ice. I returned to the front serving area to let them know. After some confusion they offered me a iced Coke poured from the drive-thru drink machine with my bag (not tray) of food. I went to my table and took out the food which was hot and delicious. Unfortunately, there was no ketchup in the bag for my fries so another trip to front serving area was required. When I got back the food had cooled off somewhat and the entire atmosphere of eating at a McDonald's restaurant was diminished greatly. I suspect it will be a very long time before I go to a McDonald's restaurant again.
Terrible not one person spoke English order the head couldn't pick up the order in the car had to wait in get them separately customer service terrible everyone laughing behind your back
Plastic straws for the win. We would possibly have chosen timbits and ice coffee but with tim hortons paper straws McDonalds got our business. Lil donuts instead of timbits no problem
I ordered a big mac combo for my husband with a DIET coke and just a large fry for me. I repeated everything twice carefully but l dont think she understands english. I watched the screen and it looked like she added a med fry at the bottom. I didnt want to repeat myself a third time and try to make it clearer. If she missed my fry, oh well. She did miss my fry and gave my diabetic husband a real coke! He is off from work today (no pay) and very sick! Never again will we go there!
Absolutely terrible service. Turns off their orders off of the app but won’t open the restaurant even though their drive thru wait time is astronomical. We are in stage 2. Open up your freaking restaurant!

I am just not sure the price McDonalds charges for it food is justified anymore. This doesn't reflect on the Listowel location. It's more expensive to go to McDonalds than any other competitor now and they are not as good.
Asked for oreo mcflurry. I got my drinks handed to me got told food was coming got my food and got told have a nice day. Drove forward a bit realized no mcflurry went inside and had to ask for it at counter. Do better if you don't want us inside.
Instead of pushing apple pies and muffins on you as soon as you pull up they should work on their manners. Never a "your welcome" or "thank you" or "have a nice day" they just shut the window in your face as your saying thank you
There's something wrong with all the drive throughs in Listowel. This one especially. I rarely get home and find my order complete or made properly. This last time I ordered meals for 3 people and they forgot the third fry portion. The time before my big Mac didn't have lettuce and the time before I had to remind them of the drink to my meal order. Do not drive away without checking every part of your order or else it's a gamble to whether you will even get what you paid for.
This place Use to be great then it must have fired all of its hard working staff and imported new staff who just don't care at all! I can't tell you how many times they have screwed up my order! Shame on you!
Wanted the chicken mcmuffin, without the bun, cheese or salad that comes with a Junior Chicken/McMuffin. THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL PRICE OF THE JUNIOR CHICKEN, EVEN WITHOUT THE BUN OR THE COLESLAW. Not customer friendly. Will not order again, unfortunately, they also own the Hanover store.
Just had two bacon and egg macmuffins using the mobile app order 2519 at store 15764. Very dissapointed! Our food was barely warm and english muffins were tough and whole sandwich was chewy. Paid full price too. Service fast and friendly food was definately not fresh. Had good food here in the past but not today.
It was nice to be able to be a Dine-In guest again. They did a good job setting up the seating area with regards to the Social Distancing requirements. The staff were pleasant people.
A typical McDonald's. Only real complaint was the present language barrier. I know they try but understanding certain accents through a drive through is impossible
Good, hot food, with friendly but very slow service. Which is kind of odd. I understand Covid 19 is in full swing but it's not as if the place was very busy. Especially considering most people being/staying at home.
There's always something wrong when we go here. We *just* went through drive-thru and at the second window we noticed we didn't get the McChicken sauce packets in our bag. We know this location charges so we made sure we ordered a few with our order. The girl at the second window said sorry I'll have to charge you for those. I told her I ordered them with my order. She repeated that she would have to charge me for them. The drive-thru was wrapped around the building so we left but seriously. I hate leaving negative reviews but it's just so frustrating. I'll tell you, McDonald's is nothing like it used to be when I was a Team Leader at one (years ago). Order# 15764, I was charged for them. LOL
Disappointed they’re not open at 5 am for the people who work early. I prefer McDonald’s coffee and food over Tim Hortons. Sitting in Tims drive thru now and looks like they’re missing out on a lot of business. The place is packed and lined up out the road.
Their employees aren’t the brightest, this has happened multiple times now where i’ve ordered a cheeseburger with only pickles and they give me no cheese on a CHEESEburger. Sometimes they do it right and sometimes they don’t
Only McD location I know of that won’t allow you to order inside. Drive through could not accept multiple orders so we had to circle around and wait again.
Consistantly gets orders wrong as well as the wrong toppings. When addressing this to them, a shrug would have been an improvement compared to how little they cared. Listowel doesnt have a lot of fast food options but between their demeanor and inability to get an order correct, anywhere else is an improvement
Well usually quite happy, however on this visit I used the call ahead app.or whatever its called. I waited as long.or longer than just going through the drive thru.then we didn't get any straws in the bag.and of course dining room was closed so, when I went to the door to try and get in. They kept telling me they were closed.until finally someone came to the door and I got my straws. Really thought they would have brought me out a fry or something for the hassle.but they did not.
Clear and good service at the drive through - felt confident that what I ordered was going to end up in the bag. As for the food, came warm and it's McDonald's so assume the same as every other store.
