Without giving too many details I was involved in a not at fault accident, it's the first time I've used insurance for anything. The adjuster at Northbridge Insurance became a nightmare of me having to do unnecessary work for them. I eventually walked into McDougall and the office administrator directed me to my new representative Logan quickly. Jon and Logan helped me out, I was very frustrated and frankly had enough. Jon escalated it to head office.
Ironically my review of 1 star generated a phone call from Northbridge shortly after and the adjusters supervisor called and cleared up everything and assured me everything was good and I was not at fault and the adjuster will receive a firm reprimand. It's restored my faith in McDougall insurance. Thanks Jon and Logan.

Unfortunately after many years with MacDougall Ins it is time to move on. In starting out with what I thought was a simple vehicle cancellation, turned into a condescending attitude from Melanie. To the point when both my wife and I felt she was subtly insinuating we were trying to get better rates illegitimately. It took a bit to absorb her attitude since we were so pleased with MacDougall.

Have taken care of my 3 consecutive homes with 1 claim made for a sump pump flood! All good, competitive rates!

She was very knowledgeable about different ways I could save on my car insurance ie: investing in winter snow tires etc. I would HIGHLY recommended.

Very unprofessional.scammed me out of 600 bucks for car insurance.even after i paid and also had to cover the NSf fees from them taking money from my account every week when they werent suppose to.and putting me in major debt.got the statements to prove it. STAY AWAY first time getting a car and i get screwwwwed for insurance!

Have insurance with McDougal now for several years. Sold my house and was told Mcdougal wasnt interested in insuring our new farm. Also increased our insurance huge as we moved to a "Higher risk" area. And Ive been sent a bill for 500 for the next 3 months. Ive requested a call from the agent just to understand what is happening and no return call for 3 days. Now Ive been told to call the main office line and find someone to help! Terrible service! Ive given them over $7000/yr for insurance for the past 5 years. This is how they treat me!
