Extremely terrible service! Don't go here if u don't want your time t ok get wasted, I called to see what number were they calling I was told its 25, my number is 27, so I was told I can come to the clinic,
I arrived 2 minutes after the call coz I live nearby I could see the number being served is stil 25 so I waited for My number to be called.
They started calling names instead of number so not.sire what's going on, I still waited as they haven't change the number 25 on the stand. I waited for1 hour ans when I asked the reception she checked ans she found it something wrong so she said I'm.next, she didn't bother to explain why
I wasted my time waiting because of their efficiency why the hell they stopped calling numbers and why They never change the number currently being serve

The service is really really bad here. The staff named Maria was just yelling at me when I was trying to book the appointment with my family doctor. If you do not have feeling to work, then please do stay at home. Do not offer that bad service to people without any reasons.

I would give it one star, but the doctor that I met before was polite, but today I was there and I met with a Dr. Marcus, I believe.a short doctor with curly hair. He was rude and passive aggressive to me for no reason. I dont understand what I did to the guy. If he is having a bad day, dont take your frustrations on the innocent injured or sick patients.

Several times now.there have been a string of more than 10 people waiting, for them to open, at 8.30am.and nobody gets into a Dr until 9.30am.they are supposed to ge open for 9am.
And other times.they close their waiting room before 3 pm.but they don't close until 7 or 8pm.
They really should update their hours, schedule!

The hours at this location are horrible: (I don’t think it’s right that you advertise that you close at 5pm, then stop taking patients at 12. And it’s different every day! Sometimes u stop taking them at 1pm, sometimes at 11: 30am! I’m told it’s so you can see every patient on time before you close, but then why do you not have a single patient waiting in the office at noon? From a patient standpoint, it looks like you just don’t feel like taking patients past a certain hour so you can go home early. Stop false advertising your hours. It’s super inconvenient, not good for patients who need immediate help and plan their work day around the visit, especially in the highest density part of Toronto…

Completely negligent office and unprofessional. I had an appointment for over a month with the gynaecologist. They called to confirm, yet when i got there, the appointment was cancelled without any notice. My only option is to reschedule another month. I am unable to speak with the doctor regarding my medical concerns/ condition and am left without a physician. This is malpractice in my opinion.

The website is a joke. You need to be on the screen to connect to the doctor. How funny is that? How can someone seeking help stay on this page for hours? I waited 3 hours on this page. This website needs improvement. Such a waste

Even after a friend of mine told me countless times about how terrible this facility is when it comes to serving immigrants, I have gone there anytime me or my little son were unwell. The nurses have served me promptly with excellent customer care. But on one exceptional occasion I had an ailment and after seeing the doctor he advised me not to rush and buy the prescribed medication because he thought it would heal without medication and secondly it was expensive if I am not on insurance. I was so impressed because not many doctors would give you such an option.thank you so much mci bloor and yes I healed without meds

The worst place! I called reception and they said it will be open till 5. When I arrived at 3 they rejected to accept me and treated me very badly! Never go there!

My exsperience here was great, receptionists were friendly and Dr was great and informative, and wait time was average for a downtown Toronto walk in.

I had a great experience at this clinic. Both doctors I encountered at this facility were professional, empathetic and good listeners. The front desk staff were polite and kind. As soon as my results arrived, I received a call. I’m thankful for the service provided.

This place should be closed! No professional staffs. I got my blood tested and they told me they won’t give me the reports before I check with doctor!

Giving 2 stars is quite generous in my opinion. Some of these ladies in reception really need to sharpen their people skills because they way some of them talk to you over the phone is downright rude. I’ve been working in healthcare for 21 years and I would never ever get on the phone and speak the way some of these women do. If you don’t like your job? Change it. Plain and simple.

I decided to leave my comment here as well. It's a walk in clinic and during high flu season there are a lot of people of course. It's my go to walk in clinic in neighbourhood, I know that its a long wait, I come in the morning, take my number and go home. When I call to check on what number is on now, they always answer and I always know approximately when come back. I had good experience with doctors and prescription medicine, this part is very fast. I can imagine how it can be frustrating to wait all this time inside the clinic, but its everywhere in Toronto now. I give 5 stars, as if you know that it's works this way, there is nothing to be disappointed about.its my neighbourhood walk-in, I know they will eventually see me during the day and I will be taken care off, sooner or later.

I was yesterday at clinik for 4 hours with lots people waiting for doctors but doctor never show up and and staff send us home.they call me come back next dau what i did and again i have to wait for doctor for hour its not fair the way how they are working.i think people who was yesterday should be see the doctor first not to wait again for hours. I like the clinik but just not happy with the way they are working.

First I have to add that the staff, nurses and the receptionist were awesome no complaints there. On the other hand there is this Ayman Al-Arabi, I wouldn’t refer to him as a doctor. He is one of the worst persons I’ve encountered in my life. He made fun of my condition with horrible sarcasm. Dismissed it as nothing and didn’t look at it for more than 2 seconds. Also he didn’t hear my second problem he said “this isn’t an all stop shop” and I need to come back another day for it. I had waited 4 hours to see a doctor that day. I guess he does this so he can get more. I went to a real doctor two weeks later and guess what it was Stage 1 cancer but fortunately for me the tumor is very small and has not spread or only have a tiny bit of spread in a nearby lymph node which is completely curable. I will make a formal complaint after I deal with my situation. STAY AWAY.

Very friendly receptionists, good wait time (waited only 1.5hrs on a Friday morning), and the doctor was caring and professional. Thank you for a great service

The reception is very nice and patient every time when I called. The walk in doctor is also very nice and polite.

NOT a Walk in. Appointments only and not taking new clients. Desk Clerk was absolutely useless and not accommodating, doesn't answer phones and wasted people's time and money.

You couldn't pay me to contact you or come back to that poor excuse for a doctor's office. Perhaps you should pay more attention to the MANY similar 1 star reviews/experience that I had. Change your rules and hours, stop wasting sick people's time.

Don’t recommend Dr Al Arabi, I was having severe food poisoning and even vomitted at the clinic - he gave me a diagnosis for 2 mins telling me I am completely fine and told me to take peptobismol and charged me $30 for a sick note

I had to go to the ER the next day for severe dehydration and severe food poisoning and spent the whole day at the hospital emergency with an ER drip and multiple tests

Still extremely shocked that a doctor would put such little care and effort with diagnosing and giving recommendations even though I was trying to explain my case with as much details he did did not seem to care at all

I really didn’t understand those previews reviews ‍️! Front desk, nursing staff and Dr Patrick Gonsalves we’re amazing with me! I strongly recommended you go there and check this out. It was my first experience with walking clinic and that was great!

Awful clinic. Straight up did not honor an appointment that was made the day before and told me they were full. Reception is incompetent and doesn't communicate with the doctors. Go literally anywhere else.

I had a great experience here! Went in to the walk in clinic on a Sunday at 10: 15 (one of the only open clinics on Sunday!) and they gave me an appointment time of 11: 15 I sat in the waiting room and was actually called in at 10: 45. Quick and easy, doctor, nurse and receptionist were all very friendly and helpful!

They just disgusting with their attitude and mannerism. People never go to this walk in clinic it's the worst.

Love this place. STI testing and treatment on site and they know what they're talking about. Always easy.

I waited 6 months for a "meet and greet" with a family doctor. For some reason, this had to be an in person discussion. When I finally get to meet with him, he tells me he won't accept me as a patient because he doesn't prescribe the medication I'm on. I offer to handle that prescription elsewhere if need be, still refuses to take me on. Wasted my morning for a conversation that could have been handled over the phone 6 months ago.

Unprofessional, disrespectful, abusive and discriminatory.
Three times in two days I visited this mess, only to be verbally abused, denied my medical secrecy rights, being threatened by a nurse and a young receptionist. The last discriminated against me in public, left with tears in my eyes, intimidated and humiliated.
They do not accommodate disabled people as required under "The Ontario Human Rights Code; 8. Duty to accommodate".

Went there and everyone was so nice and generous. I would dare to say the best experience I have had in a family practice. The doctor was great at explaining what was happening he was so attentive and kind. He went above and beyond. The receptionist and nurses where also so kind and went through everything thoroughly.

I called ahead of time and they were able to accommodate me quickly. Barely waited and was in an out of the clinic within an hour.

The Philippine receptionist is beyond ignorant and rude. She should be reported to the medical board. 100% unprofessional. She should be barred from the profession. This woman needs a major attitude change!

Concentrated human trash that steal from your health insurance and do nothing for you in return.

Horrifying lack of professionalism at this clinic. I had a dedicated GP here, it feels more like a cattle call. Last month, I had a horrible experience with the staff and immediately derostered the GP. I'm now working on an entirely different approach to my healthcare provider. Our public health system is in serious trouble, this administrative incompetence cannot be excused for the pandemic for any longer.

They wont let me see a doctor because I have a covid symptom (diarrhoea).
what's the point of doctors if they wont see patients that are sick?
They should wear a mask since those "work" apparently.

Refused me OHIP coverage because my health card was expired. Even though on the government website it says it's valid for nearly 6 more months. Reception got snippy with me when I was questioning them on it and asking why their policy conflicts with the Ministry of Health. Do yourself a favor and if you live near one of these offices. Opt for a further clinic instead. Where you'll actually get taken care of! Not only that but prior to the visit at the office. I had a phone consultation where I was rushed off the phone with a prescription but no medical advice whatsoever. Wish I could give 0 stars

I wish I had seen these reviews before coming here. Believe all the bad reviews. The staff is easily the rudest you will find. Waiting times are in excess of 90 minutes and they will never tell you. It's haphazard, totally disorganized, unfriendly and hostile. I have never had such a bad experience at any clinic. In any country. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Less than 1. Went to the clinic because i was worried I'd snapped/broken something around my shoulder. Not only was I not seen, the receptionist didn't answer the phone when I called (4 times over an hour stretch), when I got there (2.5 hours before close) she didn't bother to ask my name or why I was there/what the issue was, and then, she left myself a woman who arrived before me standing out side.in the rain.
Note that I've had both my covid vaccinations, my second being over a month ago.not that she bothered to ask.
Over all, worse walkin clinic experience I've ever had.

Called the clinic to make an in-person appointment to dress my brother's wound as this was the closest location. The receptionist told this clinic does only phone consultation. This is very sad, how can you do basic procedures like first aid if you only accept phone consultation?

Dr.terry wong is a very good example of what a doctor should be! Compassionate and really knows what he's doing.explained it in details and made me very comfortable.appreciate it so much.and thank you also to the staff for they are very accomodating. ️

Worst clinic, i wish i can rate them zero. They chat, gossip, call the family and friends, eat then 3 hrs later they will see you. For a walking clinic, this is a walking nightmare. HORRIBLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Receptionists are horrible: 1.they are rude that they feel they are in a powerful position in charge of your appointment during the pandemic instead of trying to be helpful. 2.they are always in a hurry that they won’t even let you finish your sentence and even lost their temper when you ask for more questions, no manners at all 3. I have no idea how can they find a job in an industry where kindness and empathy are of great importance, those receptionists are definitely ruining the clinic’s reputation among patients

Unbelievable how rude receptionists are here. Not to mention the doctors. If they ever schedule your appointments with Dr. Marcus I would suggest going somewhere else. Don't waste your time and your health.

This place was bad enough before, but now with only telephone appointments-its the worst. So much miscommunication with incompetent front line receptionists. And dont get me started on Dr. Geophrey Stephens and Dr. Marcus. Arrogant narcissists who clearly hate talking and listening to patients and hate their jobs in general. Get another job if youre not happy doing this!

This place shold be shut down. Recepion staff are VERY RUDE as are the " doctors". Imcompetence rules at this and other MCI clinics. Avoid this place and go to other more professional and competent health clinics. Ive learned my lesson the hard way. The only reason I kept coming here is because it was close. No more. These doctors bill OHIP for every " consultation" bur they give you no diagnose or help or care. Dr. Tam continuously misdiagnoses me and my family without even seeing me. All they do is " telephone appts" despite their advertising that the " also see patients in person". Scam of a place. Never again will I degrade myself to come to this hole of a place. These doctors should all be investigated for their OHIP billing. MCI clinics doctors and staff are way way below a minimum standard of patient care.

The receptionists have bad attitudes sometimes and they can come off pretty careless. They’re probably underpaid and overworked, so what can you do right? It’s public health care. However, once you get to the MD, the doctors are really helpful

Misleading that they are accepting new patients when in reality they only visit walkins if it is an emergency. You cannot make an appointment for a family doctor as a new patient.

Poor communication, they didn't send my receipe to pharmacy, i had to call them 3 times but no answer so i went to clinic to explain the situation but they treat like it's my fault.

Before the covid outbreak i've had severe head and back pains and i tried to get it checked at, the doctors brushed it off and they were rushing. Now I still suffer from head and back pains and i can't get it checked bc of covid.

I was desperate for a family doctor so I went to this clinic as they posted they were accepting new clients (this was a few years ago). The ladies at the reception are incredibly unhelpful and extremely uncaring (they use phrases like its not our problem the doctor is not here, they will get to you whenever they get here). In addition, they may as well throw away their appointment booking system as it is never abided to. It almost feels as if they are abusing their as they know my health is incredibly important to me and as such I have to endure their disrespect to be able to assess my health. I really hope that they see this and improve their care.

If I could give you guys 0 stars, I would. Extremely unprofessional. I've been to this clinic about three times (pre-covid) and two out of those three times, the doctors brushed me off quickly to get out of their hairs.

Now after COVID, people aren't allowed to go into the clinic and instead receive a phone call from the doctor. On Monday, August 5, I called the clinic and spoke with a doctor telling him that I have certain symptoms and I'm in a lot of pain. I believe this was Dr. David. He then told me to call mid-week if I continue to have these pains because he believed them to be acute pains which will eventually go away, despite the fact that I told him I've been having these pains and symptoms for almost a week. I called again that same day because the pains weren't going away even with Advil. I never got a call back that day nor the next, despite being told I would. I then called again on Thursday, August 7 to ask to speak to a doctor again. I called around 11: 40. I was told it will take an hour or two to get a call from them. I waited. And waited. All day I waited and nobody called me! I call again today to tell them that nobody called me yesterday and that I waited all day with all these pains and the receptionist was rude and condescending! "Did you not even wait for the call? " That is literally the first words that came out of my mouth! Your doctor never called and you're going to blame the client? I became furious! Not only am I in pain but you're also going to try and blame me for your unprofessionalism and lack of care for your clients? RIDICULOUS! You guys deserve to go out of business. You don't care for your clients. It's disgusting.

Completely ignored a woman through the glass, not very helpful front desk staff. It may be close to your condo but you can do far better. Try the clinic down jarvis, far better service.

They don't answer their phone, ignore potential patients and play on their phones for hours

I came here at 7: 10 PM on a Friday, because it closes at 8 PM. There were 0 people in the waiting room, the door was locked, and the lady at the front said they were closed. I understand if it was 15-20 minutes before closing and there were other people waiting, but 50 minutes before with 0 people waiting!?

The worst ever. I went to this place at 12: 30 PM for walkin. I asked how much is the waiting so that I can plan my schedule. I was told 1 hr 30 mins. I went back at 2 and was checked in at doctor's office at 2: 08.
No doctor came in for next 50 mins. Without consulting the doctor, I had to rush back to my office to attend a meeting at 3: 00. I felt my time was not respected and I will not recommend this place to people who value their time.

Dr Pham has been my family Dr for years I find him knowledgeable and will take the time to explain or research any questions that you might have. He's polite and has never been rude. The only issue is that now I have to travel downtown since they closed the MCI clinic at birchmount in scarbrough and paying for parking now sucks, also I find that the nurses there are awsome and professional they no there job also the receptionist are polite and always helpful I don't know what some of these other posters issues are but in general it's a good clinic. As to the walk in part of it I don't know to comment.

Had a very positive experience.usually when I visit during the day wait time is crazy.however when i go really early wait time is very limited.the doctor was very friendly and helpful.i would recommend this walk in clinic provided you avoid the extensive waiting time.

Be aware of this hospital. The hospital called me twice to go there and get the result, but when I get there and waited for a few hours, they said there are some mistakes and they don't have the result yet, they ask me to get back and refused to give us a refund for what we paid to "get the result". Also they transfer me to the women college hospital, they asked me to do the mammography and ultrasound in this hospital even they know the result can't be transfered to the other hospital. So now I need to redo everything again.

Some of the doctors are nice like Dr Wong and dr Allan but some are totally clueless.
I was called back twice for the same test results. I would avoid this place as a walkin if you have an existing issue and need to go to a doctor frequently because you will always definitely see a different doctor everytime and he wouldn't know your history. I was sent for a blood report 3 times for the same thing. Totally wasted my 2 months

As of this writing I am 4 hours into wait for a doctor very understaff and the staff that is there seems to be just hanging around and chilling out. I had called and made an appointment that doesn’t matter to them. They don’t value anyone’s time doesn’t seem like much work gets done either judging by the reviews here checked in at 11 am of this moment I’m still waiting. Ended up seeing a doctor at 445 PM!

Don’t waste your time go somewhere else.

Waited for an hour and a half only to be told I would need to wait for another hour and a half, even though people that checked in after me were being helped. Not sure how that works but okay

I had the worst experience with this clinic! I registered Dr Pham as my family physician. After waited for more than 2 months, finally had my first meet-n-greet appointment with him. Then I waited for another month for my physical, the day before my appointment, got voice mail from the receptionist saying my appointment was cancelled and asked me to call them back. When I called back I thought they are gonna reschedule me, but NO! They told me to call back again next week! So I did, they told me call AGAIN Tomorrow! I was getting frustrated but I called again, the receptionist told me the next available appointment for a physical is two month away! I explained to her I have some health issues that I really want to get checked ASAP, its so frustrating that my appointment was cancelled then I have to wait for another two months. Then this filipino woman just started YELLING at me over the phone! She kept on yelling didn't even give me a chance to talk. I have never seen someone work in health care is like this rude. In the end, she finally agreed to make me an appointment so I can see my family doc before the physical. But she never sent me a reminder like she promised. When I called two weeks later, I only find out I missed my appointment. Wasted three months and feeling insulted, I will never go back again.

They told us they are accepting new patients. We filed a form thinking we are accepted-they only gave me an appointment two weeks later. And turned out it was just another walk in appointment. And then they didn’t register my daughter or my husband. Waste of time. It was not only their receptionist’s negligence she even argued with us for no reason. And she even refused to check the previous registration forms

The nurse with long fake lashes called me in the Sunday afternoon telling me there is sth wrong with my test result and when I went some minutes later to the clinic she says we can neither show u the result nor u can see a doctor today as we are going to close. So are you crazy why do u call people make them worried!? So she could have called me another day or not waiting till the time that their office is closing.

Beware of Dr Pham! I brought my sister here to register him as a family doctor. Not only was he dismissive, and ignorant, he was halfway out the room without answering any of her questions or tending to her needs. He is definitely a family doctor you do not want. Try another doctor if you need a family care physician.

Aside from that unpleasant experience, I have always enjoyed excellent service from the nurses and the doctors here! I have been a consistent patient here with Dr Seetal and I cannot be more happy with the level of care she provides as a family doctor. Dr Gonsalves is also another terrific walk-in doctor! Highly recommended!

The nurse there didn't know what carbon monoxide poisoning was. And I don't mean she didn't know how to diagnose co poisoning; she's never heard of "carbon monoxide".

The receptionist called me and asked me to see my family doctor after I have have seen my family doctor yesterday and addressed all the issues. I inquried the reasons and explained the waiting time can be 30 minutes to 1 hour with a doctor appointment. If she can give me more information, I can decide if it is necessary for me to make the appointment. The receptionist siad, “those are the hours you have to wait. If you don’t like it, I can take you off your family doctor’s list”.

After I figured out the reason I need to go back to the clinic is because the nurse yesterday misplaced my medical record under other doctors’ names. The receptionist said “you should tell the nurse where to place your file in the system. ” Actually I did tell the nurse the reason of my visit and the nurse took the record without asking any questions. The receptionist said the nurse can be busy while it was only me in the clnic yesterday. The receptionist kept blaming it is my fault that I didn’t know how to navgate their filing and admin system. At the end of the conversation, the receptionist repeated herself and asked me to do the nurse’s job so that this will not happen again.

The incompetatent nurse and this receptionist with low standard of customer service skills should be better supervised in the clinic, so that it doesn’t form a toxic culture. However, I have also encountered better staff in this clinic team. I hope the service standard can be ensured instead of counting on the luck.
